We had initially started a simple decking project and loved the way things were progressing until the rain came...so we brought the projects inside! We moved HVAC registers from the walls to the ceilings and then had recessed lighting installed to replace the old, hanging light fixtures. Of course, this left giant holes needing to be patched, so in comes Cris Bettencourt of World Class Drywall. Cris a referral from our general contractor, Chris Morello of PortItalia Construction. As Cris surveyed the project, he added suggestions of other things that could be patched (baby gate drywall anchors no longer in use, damage from the babies that turned into rowdy kids, random holes from pictures no longer hanging, holes that happened with no explanation, but most of all, severe cracks in our celings that were previously patched incorrectly and starting to show their age. Cris brought his crew over and they meticulously went over every nook and cranny on every wall and patched and sanded their way to completion. The walls and ceilings have never looked better. They even smoothed out a bowed wall we didn't think could be flat. I highly recommend World Class Drywall as they were clean, organized, professional, and reasonably priced. Cris should also earn an extra star for referring me to Miguel of MCR Painting...they painted the new walls and now my house looks brand new! We had 4 holes in our nursery from some rewiring that had to be done. We would have attempted the dry wall patching on our own but our walls are textured. Chris got back to me almost immediately and was able to have his team come out 3 days later to patch them. They were communicative, prompt, and WOW were they clean! They put down plastic protective runners anywhere in the house they walked (from garage door to the nursery upstairs), and were so precise with their work that we didn't even have to vacuum. I couldn't even tell you where the holes used to be. Absolutely will be giving Chris and his team a call if we ever need anymore repairs! read more

Excellent work. Folks showed up promptly, worked meticulously, and completely fixed up my bathroom after the remodeling contractors left the walls in pretty ugly condition. Had another drywall contractor lined up and then he just bailed and went into a cone of silence so I never heard from them. This left me in a tight spot as I was now behind schedule. Called Chris and told him my story and my job needs. He sent a guy out the very next day and did the work which included drywall for a false wall I had framed in, corner bead and matching texture. The completed job looks like it was part of the original build. Not only did this guy step in a do this in a pinch he did it at half the price as the other quote. I fully recommend Chris. read more

Chris and his team were amazing from start to finish, a pleasure to do business with! We had some damage to an 8x2 area of the ceiling in our living room, which needed both repair and re-texturing. My research online made me very apprehensive about the re-texturing part; many folks appear to end up with clearly visible seams or differences in reflectance between the repair and the surrounding area, even though their contractors said the match would be 'near perfect'. Given that we spend most of our time in this room, my quality expectations we very high and I wasn't going to settle for something less. I contacted 4 contractors to get proposals, 2 never got back to me. 1 gave me a very high quote, but when pressed about the details of the texturing, said he'd use spray cans for the texture. Online forums warn that these cans virtually never give a close match over an area much larger than a few square inches - 'swing and a miss'. I contacted Chris with photos of the area and detailed questions for him. Within a couple of hours, he came back with a proposal, detailed description of the texturing (using a protective curtain and a spray hopper with compressed air rather than cans) and a cost that was very reasonable. Juan came by our place to do the work, arrived exactly on time, was polite and professional, finishing the job in about half a day including setup and tear down. When he removed the curtain to show the finished product, I couldn't even tell where the repair was (and it hadn't dried or been primed / painted yet)! Very impressive, and quite a relief for us. Home repairs can be costly, flawed and stressful. By delivering absolutely top quality work with professional service at a reasonable cost, Chris and his team truly earn the distinction of being 'World Class'. read more

World Class Drywall did excellent work repairing damage to my vaulted ceiling that had been damaged by a leaking roof. They showed up on time, made sure the work area was covered by plastic and completed the job with the skills that they would have shown if they were working on their own house. This company was such a difference from others who either didn't return my phone calls or couldn't work on areas 11' above ground level. To top it off, their rates were very reasonable, as well. Chris from world class is great. He is the owner and came to give the quote himself. He is hands down professional and the price that he gave to drywall my entire house (2000 sq ft) was the cheapest around. This is honestly a late review as my house was completed back in December of 2017 but I wanted to write this review to help people that are looking to drywall their house. His guys are very professional and even asked me before playing their music each day, which I was totally fine with. Furthermore, the seams and walls look perfect. I've noticed at some houses you can see where the drywall seams are with the tape covering it, and not really smoothed in. At my house, you can't even tell where the seams are because they did a perfect job. There was one restroom where there was a little bit of old drywall left, and Chris didn't really want to take it off to put a new sheet on. He assured me that it would look ok and I wouldn't be able to tell the new with the old. He was right because it looks as if everything was replaced in the restroom. Last thing to mention is that these guys are super fast and very accurate. Chris said my house would be done in a week. Let me say that again, a 2000 sq ft house done in a week!!! They were done and out of there in that time. Since it was beginning to be winter time, he said I had to wait at least 3 days before painting the walls, which I did, and it looks fantastic.
