This company deserves negative stars after our experience. We gave our deposit to the company and then they received a double payment from the our insurance company. David Solis' poor communication at the end of 2025 and lack of reimbursement lead us to hiring a different company. After several emails and one phone call, we have not received a resolution/refund for the double payment. I would not recommend hiring David Solis/Dry Time H20. read more

A little over 2 years and the floors are starting to crack and buckle. Totally improperly installed. We had our floors perfectly replaced only 2 years before this unfortunate slab leak and if I could go back in time and get an actual, professional contractor I would instead of going through the plumbers I would have. I would not hire David and his crew again. David quoted a 5 business day long job to repair damages from a water leak back in mid-December, which consisted of replacing drywall, texturing, painting, removing a large mirror, reinstalling baseboards, rehanging doors, and repairing/replacing door jambs and trims. It started off well, but there were many instances where I would catch very poor workmanship that required to be redone. They were simple things that were obvious to spot and I found myself acting as the project manager QCing their work. Stripped screws, doors hung out of plumb, poorly cut door trims, noticeable gaps in miter joints, overspray of the texture onto other surfaces, using caulking when woodfiller was needed, walls needed to be retextured twice due to poor blending of wall texture on the first attempt, and they did not set up plastic containment barriers so dust from sanding ended up everywhere in our home. One of the workman, Eric, inexplicably cut away part of a door jamb that they had repaired and subsequently damaged my recently replaced floors in the process. I was not informed of the damages and only found out later on after they had left for the evening. David ended up hiring other contractors outside of their team to finish the the remainder of the job. Eventually, a 5-day job became month long. I'm not sure why their standards for repairs were so low that it cost them more time and money refixing their work. I wish I had saw the review from AC in Huntington Beach before I hired them. read more

I really try to not leave negative reviews, but I've never been so frustrated with a company. We had some water damage and needed drywall repaired and a small closet carpet replaced. David with Drytime contacted me after being given my info from another restoration company. That should have been my first red flag. He came to walk through and provide an estimate for repairs. After setting a day and time, David came out to set up dehumidifiers, fans, and to remove the small amount of carpet in a closet. He then failed to communicate when he'd be back to pick up the equipment and continue the job. I had to call him. He said he'd be here by a certain time and when he wasn't here by then, I called again and he offered to come 2hrs later. I declined and he said he'd send another guy the next afternoon and to provide him with $1000 for a deposit for work. I did that and then set a time for him to come on 10/14 in the morning. I texted David at 3:30pm after he no call/no showed. He responded on Fri 10/15 citing a family emergency. I asked when he would be able to send a team out and he said he'd get back to me. I never heard from him again. Needless to say, I canceled my check and chose to not try to move forward with David. He has left us in a situation that we cannot fully utilize my child's closet because he pulled up the carpet and left tacks exposed. Here we are weeks later with no closet carpeting and holes in our walls and having to start over in trying to find a new restoration company to help us. read more

Where can I begin David and his team Eric & Tim have saved us through 2 slab leaks, a roof leak and many more. We have had so many issues with water at our house and Dry Time has been outstanding in getting us back to normal. Always professional and gets the job done. I had water damage back in May which led to replacing cabinets and countertop. After assessment my insurance covered for refacing original cabinets and countertop. David insisted on replacing with new cabinets due to it would be easier and speed up the process. Started bad from day one. David sent Oscar who is suppose to be an expert in cabinetry/ countertop...firs of all he threw away my dishwasher without consent, installed wrong size cabinets and left countertop uneven, gaps everywhere and very very visible chips on stone. I contacted David immediately when I explained the work that was done and why the cabinets instead of being 36' they're now 30'. He had no idea of what I was talking about or whom Oscar was...wow. David hired Sonia whom referred Oscar. Through the whole process I saw about 6 different faces, there was a lack of communication and professionalism. Faucet was installed the wrong way, cold water was hot and hot was cold. Every time something needed touch ups there was a new face at my home. He was suppose to send an electrician to do the electrical work instead he sent his brother. The dishwasher was replaced with a broken one and still waiting for a replacement . Now, he is asking for more money to fix the cabinets/countertop the mediocre job he did. Keep in mine I've paid $4,989 for the water damage and $12,000 for cabinets and countertop. read more

It looks like my review mirrors the sentiments of other unfortunate customers. I had some water damage and the restoration company that was recommended by my insurance company subbed the flooring portion out to David. Right after the claim was filed, David was here in no time to cut open my wall and put some fans and a dehumidifier in place, which are still here. I guess he sensed a feeding frenzy given it was an insurance claim. He talked a very big game and assured me everything would be fixed in a timely manner. Weeks turned into months and every time I'd try to contact him he would never answer his phone. He'd occasionally reply to my text messages but not consistently. The process ended up being, me calling the restoration company, whom also would not answer the phone, the guy from the restoration company would then let David know I was trying to contact them and then he'd finally contact me. I too, got the messages that he had family emergencies and could not do one thing or another because of it. He also kept blaming the insurance company for the hold up. After roughly 5 months, I had to get my insurance agent involved to try figuring out what was happening. The insurance company told us they had closed the claim because they never received the proposal for the scope of the work, which should have happened 5 months ago. He's now disappeared and won't return any of our messages. So now I'm left with a hole in my wall, rotted would floors and a $400 check from my insurance company for the original assessment, to try putting everything back together. We were disappointed in the communication and follow through from this business. They started construction approximately 10/20/20 and said it would take 3 weeks to complete. It is now 1/11/21 and we are still without a shower door. We had emailed Tim in Dec 2020 with all of the following concerns and never heard back. We had to reach out several times throughout the construction to see when they were coming to complete the job. People had said they were coming out and never showed or called to reschedule. Very unprofessional and unlike anything I have ever had to deal with. Additionally, we are unhappy with the finish. The fixtures, including the mirror, towel racks, toilet paper holder, and shower pipe are not secure. The seals between the shower tiles and wall and ceiling don't look clean. There are pencil marks all over the shower and floor tile and paint drops left in the sink. The damage caused to the other side of the wall from drilling was never repainted. The front lawn was flooded despite having cleared the driveway for the worker to use. We shouldn't have to patch up work we're paying over 5 grand for, it should all have been taken care of. We are unhappy with the lack of professionalism overall. Would not recommend. We have had to hire a different company to finish their work. read more

I received a text from the water company indicating to check for leaks - I located a hot water slab leak in my daughter's room. Carpets were wet, and the room felt hot. The plumber come and Dry Time H2O come at a moment notice. I worked with David from Dry Time and we agreed to move forward. The company started the same day!David was very helpful and resourceful. He explained all the various treatments and repair stages. His crew members, including Eric had the same disposition as David. I expressed to Eric (person handling the repairs) that I wanted to make sure my walls were restored to its original state.
