This is my go-to dry cleaner and alterations place, even though there are others that are closer to my home. Dependable results, great stitching solutions adding years to my shirts, and refitting of my clothes as my size changes due to weight loss. Personalized service (they know me by name) and if I need a rush job, they can do it for me even in a pinch. Note--even though they are called "Dry Clean Today", this one is under separate ownership from the main chain. A little more expensive but I find the results more reliable and higher quality pressing/color sensitivity than many cheaper places. read more

I love this cleaners. I have been taking my husband's and my dry cleaning to Today's for over a decade and maybe longer. I have enjoyed the counter people. I miss Connie but I do love Alice. Alice has been doing my alternations and doing a great job. I have their VIP service. If interested, you should them about it. read more

In a word, rude! I went in last week to drop off some stuff for Chris (I know, what a sweet wife I am!). and it was the worst 5 minutes of my day. Walked in and the woman working looked at me and walked off without saying anything. There was nobody else in the place, so it wasn't as if she was with another customer and couldn't greet me right away. When she came back, she asked me for the phone number on the account. I started off with the area code ("530"...) and then I paused for a second, expecting her to start typing it in. She then looked up and said "ok" in a rude voice, so I continued with the number. Once she counted out the clothing items, she told me that they wouldn't be done until Wednesday, using a tone as if she expected me to argue that they needed to be done sooner. I said that it was fine (using my most cheerful voice, as I always try to kill em with kindness), and she charged my card. As I was leaving, I started to say "have a nice Labor Day," but she cut me off with a rude "bye" mid sentence. Well excuuuse me! Considering Chris has been coming here for years, it was annoying to have such an experience. He said that they have never acted like that toward him, so if I was going to give her the benefit of the doubt, I guess she was just having a bad day. read more

I go into this location (Sierra College at Douglas) once a month (more or less) with a GIANT sack of shirts. I generally feel bad for Connie because I'm bringing in such a large amount, that I generally stay and help her sort the laundry. I spend between $50 and $90 for Laundered Shirts. I'm always happy to see Connie, she's (seemingly) happy to see me. Even at only going once a month, I don't have to give her my name or phone number. The service is quick enough, considering they don't do the work in-house (about three days). I didn't know they did Groupons until recently....boy, I would have been on that one! There are some reviews here for bad treatment, for a woman named Sue, and for damaged clothing. I've never received bad treatment of any sort, don't know who Sue is (maybe time of day I go?), and have never had anything damaged. In fact, if I forget to tell her a button needs fixing or whatever, it's usually fixed when I get the shirts back. I send people to this location all the time, and none of my friends have ever mentioned anything unseemly happening. I call her Connie because that's what it says on my receipts, and as much as she and I chat about stuf, I should really know whether that's her name....but I'm not really sure. She's the nice lady that works mornings. =) Five stars for me. read more

Worst "cleaning" experience ever! They ruined my $150 Robert Graham shirt and claimed it was a manufacturer defect! When pressed about how that is even possible, considering that I've had it dry cleaned elsewhere many times without problems, all I could get was "it's just the way it is." I was insulted by her attempt to obfuscate her responsibility with lies and deceit - I wonder if people accept these ridiculous excuses? read more

First of all I would give this business zero stars if it was possible. I bought a groupon for $25 and it allowed me $50 worth of dry cleaning services. When I brought my 9 garments Sue was the woman who processed my clothes. (I can only assume her name is Sue. After I left I called back about an hour later and asked for her name. I'm not sure if she was being honest if she recognized my voice.) She is a much older with blond hair. She went through each article of clothing and charged me accordingly. When I presented her with my groupon she was flustered. She told me she wasn't sure how to input it in the computer and insisted I pull it up on my phone when I had the paper printout in front of me. She was very rude and acted as if it was a pain that I had a groupon. I did this without an attitude and pulled it up. She still had no clue. After 15 mins I told her it was a legit groupon with all verification on it and I had to go. She said ok and finally took it. When I came back a week later to pick up my clothes all my garments were there. Then I noticed one blouse had a tag on it. It had the words, 'Reject Leather' written on it. The blouse had a leather band built into it. There were rips all throughout the leather. When I asked her what this was about Sue said that the garment had not been touched since the words, 'Reject Leather' were on it. I let her know it that this was not the condition the blouse was in when I dropped it off. I would never bring a ripped garment in to be dry cleaned. In fact the weekend before I dropped off the clothes I had worn that blouse out and there were no rips in it. I was 100% certain I brought that blouse in without rips but there were a couple of marks on it. In fact I reminded her that she was the one that helped me on the intake of the clothes. Then she said she didn't really look at the clothes. The whole time I kept my cool but then she had the nerve to raise her voice at me and was very unprofessional and rude. She was not apologetic or sensitive to the matter at all. She blamed me for the top and said it couldn't possibly be the fault of the cleaners since they slapped that tag on it. Finally I asked her what she could do for me and she said refund me $4.75. With that I said fine. All I wanted was the supervisor and a way I could reach her so I could write a formal complaint. Sue then said it wouldn't be possible for me to contact her but she would contact me. Yeah right, I'm not holding my breath on that. I called groupon and they said they were sorry for the terrible treatment. They refunded my money and gave me some extra credit. I'm not one to fish for freebies but I demand some kind of compensation when I'm treated poorly and the service I paid for isn't fulfilled. As for the poor service I never asked to be refunded the whole amount. I just wanted to be talked to in a respectful and apologetic way. I think that is what anyone could ask for. Instead I was treated rudely by a grumpy old lady. I'm one for having respect for the elderly but this lady obviously hated her job. I don't recommend this business to anyone! I bought a Yelp coupon, when I went in the manager completely yelled at me telling me that I needed to pay with cash ONLY, and I had not spent enough to use the coupon. I was annoyed but came back on the scheduled day to pick up my stuff was not ready. So came back a week later. The job they did was horrendous. I will never go back. The never cleaned the shirts, I asked for them to be pressed, I guess they were but they were a wrinkled mess and completely covered in black lint. I ask for them to redo it and they refused. WORST DRY CLEANERS EVER!! I WOULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS IF THAT WAS AN OPTION. They ruined my clothing and I am still trying to get this resolved with them. First they claimed that it wasn't their fault that one of my shirts was damaged. Then I brought in another shirt that they had ruined (proving that it was them that ruined my clothing) so they changed their tune and said that it's the manufacturers fault, not their fault. I just don't see the point in using this cleaners. The turn around time is 3 days Sundays not included. Everywhere else I've been to is only 2 days and yet everything cost more at this location. But to top it all off I get the worst looking clothes back from here. Don't even get me started with the parking situation. Quality has just really went down as of lately. read more

Agree with other reviewers. I took two blouses in for dry cleaning. The price was not cheap and the time was 3 days. When I picked up my shirt it was completely ruined. All of the pleating was gone and they had no policy in place or any way to address the issue other than to bring it back. They had a tag on it which said "defective before" which was not true. Completely disappointed with the lack of concern over my complaint. They took my money and ruined my clothes. Do not use this business. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE!!! The woman who conveniently could not speak English when a question arose about price is gone. Whew! There is another woman who is new to this location and she just put me in the WORST position. While trying to pick up shirts today, she said, "they were not where they were supposed to be." She started to sort through every shirt in the store to locate it. She agreed to bring them to my house as she acknowledged it was her mistake. When I came home and they were not there, I noticed a missed call where she did not have the gate code. I came home a few minutes later and there were 3 cars going through. She only waited a few minutes and left to go to her personal appointment. She finally called back and acknowledged her second mistake was agreeing to drop them off at my home. OK, let's add this up - 2 acknowledged mistakes (unusual with a dry cleaner) and I still don't have the shirts needed for the holiday. She hosed me. In trying to ask when and where I can pick them up, she hung up. When will dry cleaners realize their days are numbered? read more
