I wrongly thought that they had discolored a brand new clothing item and was very upset. I brought it back to A2Z and went to Lakeside to speak to the owner. I was very upset and Ms. Thui promised if she couldn't correct the problem, she would buy me another one. Well, she was so determined to make me happy, she personally drove to the store where I bought the item and called to let me know she purchased a new one and it was at the shop waiting to be picked up. When I showed up, Ms. Thui wasn't there, but when her employee presented me with the new item, it was clear that it was exactly the same color as the original one-- there had been no discoloration or fading whatsoever and she had still bought me a new one to make me a happy customer. I wouldn't take the new one because I was totally wrong but they still treated me with kindness and respect. I want everyone to know that not only do they do a great job at these two cleaners, they have top notch customer service and integrity. Very Disappointing First Experience…read more This was my first experience with LOTTS Cleaners in Terrell, and unfortunately, it was very disappointing. The posted hours indicate that the business closes at 6:00 p.m. I arrived in the parking lot at approximately 5:54 p.m. to pick up my clothes, only to find the doors already locked and employees preparing to leave. One of the employees rolled down the window and asked if she could help me. I explained that I had just driven from Dallas and needed to pick up my clothes. I was told, "Sorry. When it gets hot like this, we leave early, and you'll have to come back another time." I understand that working in extreme heat can be difficult, and I appreciate that employees have to deal with challenging conditions. However, if a business posts hours of operation until 6:00 p.m., customers should reasonably expect the business to remain open until that time--or the hours should be adjusted and clearly communicated. As a first-time customer, I was particularly disappointed by the lack of consideration for the time, fuel, and effort involved in making the trip to pick up my clothing. I also feel that management should be made aware that the posted hours are not being followed. I hope the manager will address this with the staff and ensure that customers are not turned away before the advertised closing time. Unfortunately, this experience does not give me confidence in returning as a customer. Very poor customer service.
