They provide next day service if you drop the clothes early on the week & during the day. I like the way they clean and press. My questions always go answered. Besides service what I like the most is their system. They send an email when the clothes are ready. The email system helps because I can even see my history & pay through there. I dropped of 2 suits and a pair of slacks and the total was 42.00. I felt that was a very reasonable price. I was happy with the work they did. When you drop off items- you are sent a text and another text notifying you when your clothes are ready. I will be using them as my regular cleaners. The owner is very pleasant and was friendly both times I came in. They are located in a tiny strip mall, so parking cam be an issue. read more

(please refer to my "5" rating ono 5/23/2021) I have been using this cleaners for a few years, since moving to Oaklawn and after experiencing unsatisfactory service from several other cleaners in the area. When I found FINE CLEANERS, I thought I had been rewarded by the cleaning Angels, both customer service and product was expensive, but worth every penny. Since May 2021, I have frequented this location and always been happy. Saying all of this, I cannot explain what happened around 10:45 this morning; perhaps the gentleman was showing his "true colors"? (I use the word "gentleman" with considerable hesitation). I stopped to drop off an order while friends (that also use your location) waited in my car. As I approached the counter, this Afro-American (my respectful work being used) customer service representative. I said "good morning", I did all the greeting and I gave my name (William Walt Johnson, Jr.) while "he" mumbled some words I did not understand. After asking for him to repeat himself, I finally determined that he was inquiring about why I didn't have a mask on. Now, I thought, silly customer, that masks were optional (I will have to research this to be sure) for I had 2 or 3 masks in my car that I could have easily gone back to retrieve; however, the attitude portrayed was that getting a mask would resolve his concerns. Silly me, I stated that I was a good, loyal customer and would NEVER, not at a cleaners or anywhere, go to a small business if I was ILL or had COVID or for any negative reason. Those facts were completely ignored and when I had had enough, I advised "him" that I would be leaving and that would not come back. Other than telling me to wear a mask in the future, there was not one single positive remark made; it would have only taken me 5 seconds to get a mask out of my car or he could have provided me with a mask under these circumstances. I will only repeat todays situation, my negative treatment, if asked by anyone looking for a "GREAT" cleaners. I am dedicated to supporting small businesses. When I sent my review on 5/23/21, I received the nicest response from the owner, it was very kind and professional. In addition, recently I asked another counter person how was business, all with concern. He was extremely polite and only said that he appreciated my business, the business I had sent them and my May 2021 review (this was a Hispanic gentleman with black glasses......just a nice guy). So, one might ask me, how do I assure myself that I never experience this type of rudeness in the future? You probably can guess the answer, right? You just don't ever go back again and you pray this person is able to improve his attitude. I am quite concerned about the unemployment situation in Dallas and pray all those searching for a job are successful! I also hope this man understands the impact of how you treat a customer impacts your owner's bottom line. Lastly, this business uses all the latest (it appears) computer systems and even sends a text to acknowledge your dropping off clothes and letting you know exactly when they are ready to pick up and includes their business hours......TOP NOTCH! Also, I found out they would do special orders and they did a fantastic special for cleaning my sofa zipper cushions for around $50; they were beautiful. All of the above is being pointed out to let you know how disappointed I am to be leaving; they were fantastic, to say the least! TO THE OWNER: Best wishes from a previous customer! Store left unattended!!! Just left Fine Cleaners... without my clothes. I've used them regularly for months. They do an alright job, acceptable. Mostly on time even... however I just went in to pick up some shirts to find the business completely abandoned. Door left unlocked. No attendant. No cashier. I yelled "hello!" After waiting 5 or so minutes. No response. Went and waited in my car for a bit. Went back in. No one. Walked in the back. No one. WHO ON EARTH LEAVES A BUSINESS ABSOLUTELY UNATTENDED??? I understand there is only one person there most of the time, and I understand that humans must eat and use the restroom. However, I waited nearly 20 minutes. If you plan to be gone that long, what is wrong with a "be back in 15" sign?? I won't be returning. Not only did they waste my time, but I'm not comfortable thinking that my clothes could just be up for the picking by anyone who walked through the door when they decide to go missing. read more

I didn't think this place was so fine. They did an okay job on the tablecloth I brought them, but didn't stick to their commitment for having the work completed. I had to come back *three times* before I finally got my tablecloth back. I have better things to do than keep returning again and again for my cleaning. Dry cleaning is a commodity; I recommend going elsewhere. read more

Rating Fine Cleaners a 1 since they're still unresponsive on a ruined, 3 sizes smaller shrunk, ladies jacket. The cashier called the manager, Christine first to try to rectify the situation. At her suggestion, I then went back to the store with the right sized jacket so that they could Measure the sleeves and body. Came back today and minimal change. No follow up, no explanation and no refund! Since I took another jacket there for comparison, I at least expected the second jacket to be cleaned as a courtesy. The lack of customer service and attention to detail, as well as seemingly complete carelessness is appalling. Save your money, your clothes, your precious time on these folks. read more

They did a GREAT JOB!!. I brought my bridesmaids dress in for alterations and my straps are falling off my shoulders. I came in GREAT GUY he had me try my dress on and pinned it and everything. I came back a week later to get my dress and he asked me if i wanted to try it on to make sure everything fit right. I didn't have my heels so i stated if i have any problems i will call. I went home and tried my dress on and it fit PERFECT!!!! straps and the alterations was on point i stated to him i had to show my toes due to a picky bride and he did JUST THAT!! Not too bad! I dropped off 6 shirts on a Monday afternoon. They were picked up Tuesday evening. I requested no starch. I paid 10 dollars. Shirts were clean, no starch and well pressed. I was told that even because they tried to fix it, which is something they normally don't do, it would still not be reimbursed. So I have taken my clothes here a total of 4 times, work suits, slacks ect. reasonably priced, actually a tad higher than other options on the Lemmon strip. But what has moved me to write this review is the 50% chance of them loosing my clothes. Out of the 4 times, twice they have lost my clothing and didn't have any idea and out of the 2 times my clothes was lost only once were they recovered. I was searching yelp for the closest dry cleaners to me, and Fine Cleaners seemed the best, judging by its few but very positive reviews! The people (both times, at drop off and pick up) were very friendly and helpful, and the service was quick, efficient and great! I had one pair of pants and 3 button up shirts to dry clean, and they were ready the next day, clean and looking and feeling great! And all that for $14 only! Used this cleaners for the first time last week. There are cleaners on every block in this neighborhood. How to chose? I'd recommend Fine Cleaners. They were courteous. I thought the price was fair: :$12.95 for a wool coat, $4.95 for a sweater. The turn around time was great- one day. Will use this cleaner again. read more

This place is pretty good! It is low cost and dry cleaning isn't too bad. I did find a stain still on one of my uniforms once or twice, but nothing noticeable unless you are really looking. I've been there twice and both times they were very friendly...no reason not to keep going! read more

I have never written a yelp review before, but I thought I would after my horrible experienceS at Fine Cleaners. Twice I have had my shirts ruined there and both times I've paid and not been refunded. This past time I visited last week, 5 of my shirts had messed up buttons that were smashed because of the machine they use. When I asked why this KEPT happening the girl blamed the machine. Maybe you should fix the machine? Offer a refund/free service or how about an apology? Yeah none of these were offered. Seriously one of the most unprofessional people I've dealt with and she didn't seem to really care that 5 of my shirts were ruined. If I were you I'd avoided taking any shirts there because has happened to me the past two times I've visited. I'm going to another cleaners next time. read more

Be sure you get your price quote in writing. If an employee quotes a price, they may not be right and the owner will not honor his employees quote. I paid more than three times the quote I was given, even after the owner called Sunshine cleaners to verify their price. He was rude and hateful and offered only a measly $10 discount, which he then did not provide at final sale because the conversation got heated.
