Since everyone tends to go to the Iron Rooster, this place often gets overlooked. It's really good food at a pretty good price. The Brunch Burger and the Dry 85 burger are both great. They also have their own kind of ketchup. read more

This is a fun place with great food and their bourbon and whiskey selection is superb! We've been here a few times, enjoyed several items on the menu. Their burgers are spot on and the ossobuco is to die for!! Samantha has been our waitress twice she's very nice, and takes great care of us! The Smooth Ambler Old Scout 10 year single barrel was divine. I'd give them 4+ stars if they had been willing to sell it by the bottle!! I suggest they start doing so right away!! read more

Went here for brunch and dinner! Great Bourbon Bar, and drink menu. Brunch portion was kind of small, but filling (think everything with bacon). Dinner was 5 star food, scallops and bacon cooked perfectly. Only downside was at night it is VERY noisy, though there was a bachelorette party at the bar, it was insanely loud, but after they left it quieted down a tad. Good thing for outdoor seating. Service was awesome, and server knew his bourbon, very important for a bourbon/whiskey lover. read more

Amazing drinks that's change by season, friendly attentive staff! Delicious food, slightly on the heavy side.

My husband and I try a new restaurant each year for our anniversary and since it fell on a weeknight and the kids have sports practices in the evening we decided to do a lunch date. I always check on Yelp to find new, good, places and I came across Dry 85. The reviews were good, so I figured why not? We found parking right out front so that was sweet. The place is super chill and the bar tender/waiter was super nice. We ordered a couple appetizers and they were all great, but my husband couldn't stop talking about the seafood Mac n cheese :) I had the B to the L to the T ;) and my husband had the pork shank. We really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. We will def tell friends about it and we will def stop in again. Thanks for a great Anny memory Dry 85! read more

Cool name and cool online menu but dog food is served here. Absolutely disgusting overcooked food with slow service. Keep on driving by this one folks! read more

Loved it! Staff was amazing, knowledgeable, pretty engaging, good marketing skills. It's a little congested but once you sit down and enjoy the drinks with good company, it doesn't really matter. Excellent bourbon! read more

My husband and I love this place. Not only a cool atmosphere but the food is fabulous! The skirt steak and quinoa salad, burgers, bacon brunch and the rack of ribs in a blueberry sauce are among out favorites. The staff is always warm and attentive, very knowledgeable about their wines and bourbons. Great time always! read more

The food was decently good but the staff was even better! Great place for drinks and appetizers.

I went here and ordered the milk. I drank the milk. I liked the milk. I left the restaurant and got stabbed. I died the next day. But I loved the milk If you go here get the milk read more

If you like Bourbon or whiskey this is the place to go. Good craft beers as well. The bacon brunch is really good. Love the bloody marys. Wish they'd get rid of the tvs over the bar though. Ruins the atmosphere. read more

I love whiskies and bourbons... And the staff of Dry 85 doesn't know anything about what they sell... Not knowing your product is a huge issue! The food is OK but there's better in the city. I love Red Red Wine and hoped for the same level of customer service and knowledge... Not so much. read more

We went this past weekend for my friend's birthday and it was fabulous! We had the wings, fried pickles and the scallops wrapped in bacon. Delish! The cocktails are really yummy and the staff rocks. Love the bourbon, too :). read more

Some mixed reviews here, but our experience was great. The bartender, Billy, knew his product and was able to pair everyone in our party up with a drink they liked. Great selection too. read more

This place seems to be going through some growing pains. Good for drinks but the food wasn't great. We had ended up stopping by for some drinks and going to dinner somewhere else. Cool decor but too noisy to have a conversation. Great concept but service and menu need some help. They need more cocktails besides bourbon and whiskey. I would also like to see the owners care a little more about local charities, but that's a whole different issue. Lets just say they seem to be in it all for themselves. read more

Manager seemed condescending when I asked him if we could get someone to clear a table outside. Got a pretentious vibe from the place. The server was genuinely apologetic when she informed us that we couldn't smoke cigars outside, the manager only allowed cigarette smoking. It was midnight and the two tables outside at the bar next to us had people smoking cigars. We were then told that we would need to order food if we wanted the outside table...at midnight. Seemed like a cool concept, I had already ordered a flight of the single malt scotches. Unfortunately, it had poor execution and we will not be back. read more

Love the ambience and the drinks! A fun place to sit downtown and have a drink and a bit to eat!

The Bourbon flights are amazing. I would absolutely come here again and again just to try the huge variety. The food was just OK I'm a spices and flavor person and I was a little underwhelmed by the entrees. I only enjoyed the appetizers. The sweet and spicy pomegranate wings and truffle fries are really good very flavorful. read more

Read reviews and decided to walk past the more famous spots in town to get here. I'm glad I did. Cool bartender, fast service, awesome draft menu. Had the daily sprouts and some hand cut chips. Sprouts were awesome. Music was a great selection of 90's grunge. Perfect lunchtime stop. Would definitely return. read more

This place is a great stop for anyone looking for tasty food. It's a steps above your average lunch restaurant. We had the chicken and waffles (amazing), rooster and a biscuit and a pop tart. The waffles come with gravy but asked for real maple syrup and they had it! The home made brown sugar pop tart was so good. I would go back just for that. The service was great and I would highly recommend this place! read more

This restaurant nails it! Atmosphere, service, food quality, drink list, price. I was here for a Saturday early dinner at the bar, and it was a great crowd, some families there that looked totally comfortable right next to dates. The ribs were divine! read more

Great craft cocktails time and time again. Aaron is an artist with his drink creations and the atmosphere is fun but comfortable.

Love this place! Need some variety on the mixed drink list and Sam's jalapeño beer whiskey cocktail kicks ass and is a MUST to be added! We will be back! read more

Good beer selection and good cocktails. Very difficult to get a table at night. The food is pretty good, but very heavy.

First time I am giving a not so great review. I wanted to love this place. Went this past weekend with my wife a 6 and 11 year old. The burger and bun were burnt (like really charcoal tasting burnt, the bun too), the quinoa/black bean burger was a mess and flavorless. Cheesy Grits were meh, bland and just like mac a cheese and overcooked. Grilled vegetable of the day (zucchini) was very goo. dBeer menu good and most people that come here go for the brown liquor. The menu for spirits looked pretty amazing. I will go back but only for the drinks or the bacon brunch. Waiter was great. So many other choices in Annapolis. read more

Did not strike me as a restaurant, but rather a bar with tables. Very loud. Food was OK, but drinks were better.

Looking for a great Bourbon-sipping establishment, and was recommended Dry 85. Found it an excellent way to spend a lunch or an afternoon drinking through the 50+ (?) Bourbons -- all detailed in the menu, and on point with regard to tastes, qualities, and prices. Their variety of bourbon "flights" and private stock gave us chance to try ones (new-to-us) - and enjoy more bourbons than we have at home - even a flight from Pappy's distillery (if you have the $$ and inclination). Talked to the waiter and she was well-informed and honest: Great recommendations. Someone knew what they were doing in creating Dry 85. read more

Loved loved loved the food. Had a great server Drew.. Their own specialty pomegranate habanero drink. Totally loved refreshing with a spicy kick. I love going to a restaurant and having drinks no one else carries. Had a skirt steak salad with quinoa . Fantastic. Steak was cooked perfectly and ate every bite . Dessert was black bottom cheese cake , perfection ! Staff was so friendly and helpful, will be going back fro brunch next time . read more

If you like to eat human food, don't expect much at Dry 85. I ordered the fried chicken and didn't expect Dry Ice. My better half ordered the quinoa burger and received mush on a bun. Like we eat at great restaurants in DC, and this was just below par. They did't even offer anything as a mea culpa. Anything that can be frozen, will be frozen. Drinks were decent though. read more

Great drinks, good food, fun atmosphere, service is meh. It has a great bourbon menu but there's nothing about this place that makes me excited to come back. read more

My new favorite in Annapolis. Finally a whiskey bar! Recommend the steak & quinoa salad. Pair it with the truffle fries.

Never even waited for a table because the man working (host? manager? I hope not for the owners sake) on Oct 22 around 8pm was so rude we left (he proceeded to yell down the street at us). read more

Was in there today with a friend. Had a great experience. Food was great! Grace is always amazing. I wasn't sure what beer to order and she guided me to exactly the right brew. read more

Good place with a very extensive selection of whiskey and beer - I'm not a whiskey drinker but I still really enjoyed this place. We had a group of six on a Saturday night and we had to wait about an hour for a table, but that's not bad and there was plenty of room to stand and sit at the bar, and the atmosphere was good. Everyone tried a variety of drinks and food and all were pleased. There weren't many options for vegetarians, and there was one in our group - in fact the only thing on the menu was a black bean quinoa burger. Can't be too surprised at a place that has a bacon brunch though! All in all a great, surprising spot in Annapolis. Highly recommend. read more

Great late night bar. Friendly and knowledgeable bartender. A definite go-to place. We were here for wedding from out of town and found it to have a feel-good atmosphere. read more

My husband and I just dined at this restaurant. We ordered the Poor Boy Oyster sliders, Fried Chicken sandwich, Fried pickles, and the Create your own Carcuterie board. To explain the food this can be summed up in one word....BLAND. Our bill was over $70.00 and we left extremly disappointed and unsatisfied. We actually went directly to another of our favorite restaurants to have drinks and appetizers. Please understand my husband and I love great food and will pay to enjoy our meal. We frequently dine in Annapolis on a weekly basis. On a positive note they have a huge drink selection my husband enjoyed the Whisky Sour. read more

A really fun place for craft cocktails. Go when they are not busy and talk to the bartenders for custom drinks made to your taste.

Amazing!! Great atmosphere, great food, great drinks and great customer service. Try the warm skirt steak salad..delish!!!!!

This place was quite a find!! Knowledgeable staff and wide variety of bourbon and beer! The ribs were THE BEST!! Highly recommend stopping in!!! read more

What an awesome place!! Great selection, reasonable prices, good atmosphere, but best thing is Grace, the bartender. Very knowledgeable. Enthusiastic about beer and cocktails with no pretension. My new favorite bar in Annapolis!!! read more
