First time trying and was happy with the result . I went for one of the exotic varieties and it was prepped in a reasonable amount of time - Bravo ! Servers were friendly and provided xtra napkins upon request - Bravo !

We were at the Water Lantern Festival and they had food trucks set up in the grassy area. We saw the Drizzle truck had funnel cake and ice cream. We ordered the Crazy for Coco cookies & cream funnel cake. It came with crushed Oreos, whipped cream, chocolate drizzle, and cookies & cream ice cream. It came out really fast as there was no line and we devoured it within minutes. The funnel cake was still a little warm and was a nice contrast to the cold ice cream. Delicious!

This review is solely based on the one funnel cake that we ordered during the Mission Viejo 4th of July celebration. The line for Drizzle OC was never-ending and it was always very long. We wanted to go back for more, but I didn't want to have to stand there in the hot sun. We ordered the funnel cake with a scoop of cookies & cream ice cream. OMG. This was AMAZING. Seriously amazing. It was $16 for just one which I thought was very expensive, considering that the portion is smaller than one served on a plate with your desired toppings. A combination of the super-hot day and the funnel cake coming right out of the fryer, made the ice cream melt quickly and leak through the bottom paper holder. They should really reconsider the way the funnel cakes are served because of this. We were getting sticky and burning our hands trying to hold it. We had to run and grab a plate from another food truck so we could put this down to enjoy. Would I go back? Absolutely! I just wish they were down in South OC more often.

Service was great. Also recieved our food fairly quick. Smoothie was my favorite. Overall great choice for a quick bite.

Not only is this delicious, the name is perfect! A family reached out and got Drizzle for an entire school and staff! What a fun idea to gift your teachers, child's peers and make a holiday or ordinary day extra special! The Drizzle staff were great, very friendly and helpful. They worked efficiently and prepared wonderful funnel cakes, and had delicious ice cream! Everyone raved about it all afternoon!

It's was as yummy as it looks!! The hot and crispy funnel cake paired amazingly with the cold ice cream. I also like that it's in a cone so it's easy to hold and eat. I'm a sucker for anything dulce de leche so this was a MUST order for me. It's a really nice and sweet treat. I'd caution against inhaling too much on the first few bites or you might cough on the graham cracker crumbs like I did. I'm so glad I got to try them out since their food truck swung on by to an area near me. I hope I get to try them out again and taste the Thai Tea float and the Strawberry funnel. If you see them swing around near you then I suggest giving them a try! Can't go wrong with it and the funnel cake being in a cone gives it a good IG worthy picture.

Delicious funnel cake creations that are clearly made fresh and proper by people who know their craft and insist on quality. Funnel cakes are just the right mix of crispy, spongey, oily, and flavorful. I was afraid the decadent toppings would be too much but they're a perfect aesthetic complement to the foundational funnel cakes of this top tier food truck. I got the strawberry delight which is a funnel cake tucked into a holdable pouch and covered with a scoop of strawberry ice cream (seemed more like gelato almost) and an assortment of artistic fixings that look picturesque while still being tasty (potato chip chocolate, pokey sticks, whipped cream). Structural integrity is sound, as in the ice cream didn't soak and destroy the funnel cake, and the holdable containers didn't drip, however I finished mine too quickly to may really tell how it fares in the long run. All the flavors worked well together and I would highly recommend if you're looking for a lighter and fruitier treat. Excited to try this place at the upcoming NOODS festival, and will definitely try to snag one of their delectable looking drinks next time!

Had Drizzle cater for our holiday party, and I can tell you it was an amazing experience! They were very accommodating and a definite favorite among our guests. The truck was so adorable and visually appealing. I have never had a funnel cake that was so much easier to eat and bite into than Drizzle's. I further loved the different unique flavors they had to offer. I had the horchata, which came with horchata ice cream, cinnamon sugar, graham crackers, dulce de leche, and whipped cream. Talk about all of my favorites in one! Again, this is definitely a foodie's dream--portable, hand-held funnel cake. I highly recommend this place! read more

Who doesn't like good funnel cake? I always get excited when I see them at a stop. A plain funnel cake with powdered sugar is enough for me. My only suggestion would be that the exterior of the funnel cakes can be more crispy. read more

The joy I felt at the opportunity to experience my favorite childhood treat of the rice and cinnamon combination within horchata combined with my maturing addiction to coffee has never been so blatantly disrespected in my life. Not only am I offended as a red-blooded American, I am offended as a 1st generation Mexican legacy child. This is not to mention the price, in which my hebrew-decendant roommate contemplated suicide for 3 hours before I reminded him that the coffee had been my treat. That's right, his sentiments were completely sympathetic to my paying 24 dollars for what I can only assume was 2 tall cups of ice, possibly watered-down Kern's brand horchata mix and a menopausal snatch dust's worth of coffee beans. You are much better off going somewhere else for 30 minutes of being ignored, followed by tap water cold brew and funnel cakes. Better yet, drink out of the toilet, you'll save money and have more flavor. Plus the guy wore sunglasses in a shaded van. Who DOES that?? read more

We had the Drizzle Truck come out to a recent event that we planned in Costa Mesa. The truck was a HUGE hit. the staff was friendly, happy, and served everyone with a smile. Now lets talk about the TREATS. They come out warm, fresh and cooked to perfection. I cannot believe how quality the food was. I was so freaking happy after a long event to get one of these in my belly. I 100% recommend the Drizzle Truck for any corporate party, birthday party, or similar event. I loved this place! I wish they had an actual store. The funnel cake comes out warm and is so good with the icecream. It's a little pricey but so is the fair's funnel cake and this is 10x prettier! I tried Drizzle for the gram and it was mediocre to say the least. The funnel cake was delicious, but paired with a scoop of ice cream? Straight up diabetes. It was sooo sweet that I had to force myself to finish it, since I don't like wasting food. My friend literally threw half of hers away. The ice cream also made the funnel cake really soggy and messy...but it looked pretty. Cute idea and concept, but I personally wouldn't go again. It's large enough to be shared, so I'd recommend that. read more

The combination of the fluffy and crispy funnel cake along with the ice cream was on point. The funnel cake reminds me of the one I used to get at Knott's Berry Farm as a kid. Went to grand opening night. The line was about 45 minutes to reach the front. It took about 5 minutes to get my funnel cake and Thai tea once I ordered. The lines will ultimately get more reasonable. After i scarfed it all down, I realized it was well worth the wait. Trust me. Must try for you funnel cake lovers! read more

The service was amazing! I am allergic to chocolate and I appreciate how understanding they were about it. They were careful about chocolate not being in anything I ordered. We got the funfetti, and it was not overly sweet. The funnel cake was crispy but soft, and it wasn't covered in a lot of sugar. We added strawberries, and it really tied everything together. Again, it wasn't overly sweet, but that could be because I didn't get the Nutella drizzle (there is cocoa in Nutella )! read more

Since finding out about them on Instagram, I knew I had to try it out! I went to the Grand Opening of Drizzle on Friday, 08/25, and what a turn out it was!!! I wanted to try everything on their menu because it all looked amazing!!! Alas, I finally made my decision and ordered the Strawberry Delight, and delightful it was! The funnel cake batter was cooked to perfection with an amazing crunch to it. The strawberry ice cream that accompanied it was super creamy and so delicious! And it lived up to its name! The ice cream and toppings drizzled down my hand as I was eating! It was so good! There were other options available that I did not get to try, and I will definitely be following them to their next event to try the rest of the amazing options and drinks!!! We saw them at a fair near our home. I saw this place and thought awesome stuff and they cater. I am looking for something similar for my brothers graduation next month. Perfect time to try them. The fair ends at 5pm and my son was standing in line at 4:52pm- fair closes at 5:00pm- there was still a line about 10 people so it's not like we caught them right as they were closing. Some KID walked up to my son (7yo) and said they're not going to serve you. I asked her why she would say that? She said talk to my mom- who I'm assuming might be the owner? I told the lady my son was standing for a while at minimum 5 minutes. She said he was not. I have no reason to lie. She said we didn't see him. He's standing behind a tall guy so he could have easily been missed. She looked like she was ready to fight. Started yelling no ice no nothing we can't serve you. Everyone was staring. I walked away quietly and checked the time- 4:58pm. Still before closing. I would NEVER give them business. It was embarrassing to say the least and my 7yo was devastated. This could have been handled differently - no customer service at all. Such a disappointment. read more

Seriously, these 1-3 star reviews are laughable. They are a FUNNEL CAKE food truck people, not an ice cream truck (although the ice cream IS good). If I could give a million stars I would. This place is bangin. Probably one of the best funnel cakes I've ever had, if not thee best. Perfect balance of crispiness and not being overly doughy. Most funnel cakes only have slight crisping on the top and get super doughy. This one's crispy goodness is evenly displaced throughout your entire dining experience. Perfection! As far as portion size goes, it is also awesome and not even that expensive considering what you get and how food trucks always hike up the prices anyways. SUPER filling. I'm a dessert fiend and wanted to get two (hubby said no, ugh fine!) but the one I had almost put me over the edge so I'm glad I didn't end up getting the second one after all (wish I had more room!!). Also, people state that the ice cream makes the funnel cake super soggy. Of course a slight sogging is bound to happen but if you're scarfing it down like me then it won't even be a problem ;p I got the strawberry one (out of this world) and the hubbs got the taro one which he thoroughly enjoyed. Next up for me will be the oreo, can't wait! Keep up the heavenly goodness Drizzle!! Also the staff is always super chill! Thanks for always being so nice and accommodating!! read more

The funnel cake is improperly packaged and dripped and spilled over on our costumes while here at Wondercon 2019. If the food was properly packaged in a bowl or something else and practical we wouldn't have a problem. 2 costumes ruined for our con and now we have to get them dry cleaned. read more

So so disappointed with Drizzle, I was so excited to try out the funnel cakes that looked really good. So when I saw they were taking the truck to Whittier which is not near where I live but closer than their OC locations I jumped at the opportunity to try these funnel cakes. I planned to go on March 3 when on their website they said they would be at the Whittier Pony Baseball field. I showed up to the baseball field with no one there. We waited around for about 15 minutes, tried calling the phone number they leave on their website, and double checked their Instagram to see if they had said anything about cancellations. There was NO post about a cancellation on their Instagram. I double checked their website when i was already there and noticed that they had taken down the Whittier location from their website when i had just checked before i had left and they were still scheduled to go to the baseball field. I had a taken a screenshot of the proof that they were scheduled to go to the baseball field so I knew there wasn't any type of mistake. Although i have not tried their funnel cakes i rate this company 1 star due to their lack of customer service. Not informing customers about a cancellation of a stop is inexcusable. Drizzle, i'm sure your funnel cakes are delicious, but i guess i wouldn't know because i never got the opportunity to try one. read more

Visited this ice cream truck in Tustin and absolutely enjoyed everything! We ordered a drizzle coffee and a strawberry delight substituted with cookies & cream ice cream. The first time around they accidentally made it with the original strawberry ice cream but were kind enough to offer that one on the house and make a new one. I am not one for funnel cakes. But I had to try because it looked so yummy! I got the funfetti and added strawberry pieces, it was so GOOD. My life has been changed. What made it so much better was definitely the batter, it is very light, crispy, and airy which made it different from other funnel cakes. By far the BEST funnel cake ice cream specialty item I have ever had! I personally got the Funfetti, Funnel Oreos, and Strawberry Lemonade. Funfetti - perfect amount of sweetness with mochi, fruity pebbles, sprinkles, and milk & cereal ice cream (personally request, it's originally with vanilla ice cream). The funnel cake itself was so fresh and piping hot out of the fryer! It wasn't like those fair funnel cakes that come out cold to warm / soft and sometimes soggy. Drizzle's funnel cake was crisp to the rim of its packaging and paired PERFECT with all its ingredients. 5/5 Funnel Oreos - Just like the deep-fried Oreos you can buy at the OC Fair, these are reasonably priced and definitely don't give you that super unhealthy feel after. It was so crunchy and soft leaving every bite with the right amount of Oreo. Definitely shared this with the fam since it came with about 5! 5/5 Strawberry Lemonade - Not too sweet, but also has that authentic tangy taste to it. Worth the try and it's super refreshing with the fresh strawberry bits on top! 5/5 Staff - Incredible customer service, kind hearts, always smiling, and always FAST. The line was long and they got through so many orders so fast without messing up a single one! All I saw were happy customers the entire time. Definitely will be coming back with my friends. Drizzle has become my go-to for indulgent desserts! They have so many flavor combinations, and the funnel cake is fresh out of the fryer every time I go, which makes the ice cream perfectly soft - just know you're going to have to eat fast. My absolute favorite is their Horchata flavor with horchata ice cream, cinnamon sugar, graham crackers, and dulce de leche. Seriously drooling right now just thinking about it..
