I finally found a auto repair company that does business the way it should be done!…read moreHonest, fast, polite! They will now be our household's new place for auto repair and upkeep. Our Nissan rogue flashed a warning that there was no oil in the car and to pull over immediately. Which we did. We were confused because there didn't seem to be any oil leaks, and the oil plug looked like it was still in place. (my husband neglected to tell me he stopped checking the fluid levels monthly.) As our previous auto mechanic closed his shop, we hadn't had a chance to find a new one. So we looked on yelp and noticed clutch auto was only a few miles away although they seemed fairly new. They had only a couple reviews, but they were positive. So I decided to give them a try and called them and made an appointment for the same day and had the car towed to them. They did a full inspection and did not see anything wrong with the oil other than it needed it. They suggested an oil change however their inspection showed that there was some work that needed to be done on the suspension I requested photos however they had already taken them, which really impressed me seconds later they sent me a full report, including photos showing what needed to be repaired and why. By the end of the day, all the work was done. And I picked it up the next morning. I'm really impressed that they did NOT try to say other work needed to be done, as most other places would. Instead they were honest and explain that they would consider the suspension was in the yellow zone needing to be done soon, but could be put off a little bit if necessary. The cost for a full synthetic oil change was much less than five minute oil, However, I asked if they had a senior citizen discount they did not however they did have a 10% off first time customer discount, which brought the full job (oil change/suspension work) significantly in price.

Jason spent a long time on the phone trying to troubleshoot the issue while his wife Heidi texted me. They really went above and beyond trying to help us find a solution to the issue. That's not something you find every day. The car is up and running again. Yay! But, the next time it dies, we'll drop it off here, with out a doubt.

I made the mistake of installing a cheap aftermarket low pressure fuel pump, so long story short…read morethe car ran like crap with a check engine light. I also made the mistake of trying to remove the fuel pump while the gas tank was still full, so fuel spilled all over the back seat of my car and my garage floor. It made my house REEK of gas. Although I knew the fuel leak was from overflow due to the fuel pump locking ring being removed while the tank was full, I did want to take my chances and do more damage. I did my research and decided to contact London Autowerks since they were the closest Audi specialty shop. They were very cool and understanding about my car needing to be towed to their shop and have it parked overnight since I am unable to do it during business hours. In a short time, they were able to fix and diagnose my issues by doing a fuel tank integrity test, fuel pressure test and then installing the proper fuel pump and new rail sensor. They even cleaned the spilled fuel from the back of my car to where you can't smell a hint of the spilled fuel. Jennifer was awesome and the communication was stellar. The price was also very fair, considering how pricey these Audi fuel pumps are. 10/10 would definitely recommend their services especially if you drive a VW/Audi!

After the same well-known chain auto repair company in Surprise failed repeatedly to properly…read morerepair my 2000 Chevy Cavalier, I had it towed to Litchfield Auto Repair. My sister has been their customer for several years and has always spoken highly of them, so I decided to give them a try. Jenny Bastanchury was my service advisor and provided excellent service at every step. The car arrived shifting hard and shuddering at low speeds. Litchfield Auto Repair's mechanics quickly discovered what the large chain shop missed. A damaged transmission bracket was causing excess vibration and had been destroying my motor and transmission mounts. There were also other issues that needed attention, and the team walked me through each one clearly. Litchfield Auto Repair diagnosed excessive engine movement and rebuilt the entire engine and transmission mount set-up using modified brackets because original parts for a 2000 Cavalier are no longer available. They replaced the left front CV axle, installed a new air conditioning compressor, performed a complete R134a evacuate and recharge service, and coordinated a full transmission rebuild. Per my request, Jenny tried to source new old stock parts for the job, but in some cases, they were not available. After all the work was completed, the Cavalier drove smoother and stronger than it has in years. Their pricing was fair, their communication was clear, and the quality of their work was outstanding. Jenny and her mechanics really listened to my input and provided superior service compared with what I had experienced at other shops over the last 12 years. Although Litchfield Auto Repair is a little out of my way, I will drive the extra miles to get auto repairs I can fully trust. Please give them a try. You will not be disappointed.

When I went for a simple routine oil change, I so enjoyed coming to Litchfield Automotive Repair…read more As they completed the inspection of my vehicle, they noticed that my serpentine belt was starting to crack and gave me the option of either changing it now or coming back in at a later time. As I waited in their lobby, the oil and the belt were replaced in just over two hours. The money I paid was well worth it, as I felt satisfied and secure in my vehicle after it left the shop. While waiting in the reception area, I overheard the owners speaking with another customer. They offered to assist the other customer when they didn't have to. They were willing to go above and beyond on their own time to help the community. When you come here, you're not just a customer or a number; you become Family, and I like to see that.

Byron had my truck for nearly 2 months to install a dashboard, fix a lift gate and airbreak leak…read more He did a good job on the dashboard despite lying to me on multiple occasions about completion date and really bad communication. My lift gate was bandaided and not fixed whatsoever. The lift gate leaks like crazy from a bad cap that was not replaced , also the solenoids were not mounted to the bracket inside the pump box but instead just placed in there to move around when the lift gate gets pushed causing the wires to touch and short out. I would highly avoid this shop if you need your truck back in a timely manner, want any type of communication or want your truck actually fixed correctly not just bandaided and thown together. I've messaged and called after and no answer.

Doug and Byron both helped me and were incredibly understanding. When I dropped off my car, they reassured me that it was in good hands and promised to reach out once they had an answer. As a female, I sometimes feel that mechanics might take advantage of my lack of car knowledge and overcharge me, but that wasn't the case here. Their prices were very reasonable, and they even offered to work with me if I couldn't afford the cost, which I really appreciated. I received a text with a detailed explanation of what was wrong with my car and what needed to be done, along with a full price breakdown. When I arrived, they took the time to explain and show me the issues with my car, which most places wouldn't bother to do. I will definitely be coming back for any future car needs. It's reassuring to know I have a trustworthy and reliable place to go!

The hardest part is finding someone I trust, because it's easy to take advantage of people who don't know what the heck is happening. Time and again, these people have proven to me that I can trust them. They are honest, they are careful, they continue to help and support you if problems persist. They have never overcharged me. In fact, I feel like they've done too much for me without charging me. As frustrating as car issues can be, I must admit, part of me gets a little excited when the check engine light goes on, because I know that I do t have to worry about whatever it is. I can't say enough good things about this hidden little shop, or the family & the people who work there, run it and represent it.

Any of the other replaced parts were not available to me, as they threw them in the garbage, and the garbage man already picked up. The mystery part that they said was broken, was a part that had to be taken off to replace my starter. I was only told that when I went to pick up (& pay) for my vehicle. It would chug at stop lights and it was behaving like it wasn't getting fuel... and it finally even died on me. Especially because I've got a diesel and I know they require a special touch. Well, not only was I expecting the bill to be much higher but I honestly wasn't expecting to get it back until Thursday or even Friday. Turns out it was a sensor for the accelerator and they had it ready for pickup on Monday by 3pm! It drives BETTER than even before the problems began and I now know where to take it for my tune-up and maintenance like oil changes.
