He only requested that I pay for one of the technicians work to adjust my rear axle slightly (about $500) and that this was all for that other shop and nothing was being charged for himself. When I got my truck back that adjustment didn't do a thing to fix the issue. Then we both took the truck to another alignment shop and the technician there said he was positive the ball joints the previous mechanic installed were faulty or installed wrong. That alignment specialist specifically was adamant about the ball joints requiring to be replaced with stock ball joints and not aftermarket upgrades like they had done. I wanted to follow that specialist's recommendation but Jake said not to trust that specialist because he was, I quote, "a parts changer" and was just going to waste my money like the other mechanics and he said he wanted to do the job himself and not use that specialist to change the ball joints. When I kept hesitating to allow Jake to use aftermarket Ball joints he specifically told me that if those Dynatrack ball joints did not fix the issue, he would pay the the parts out of his pocket and replace them with OEM ball joints. So I went ahead and trusted him. The parts were replaced and he kept the truck for a week to drive around and wear the parts in because the wandering still wasn't going away. After that week he handed the truck back to me and the wandering was worse than ever. He also claimed that he wasn't charging me for the labor time he spent driving my truck to wear the parts in but that he would appreciate it if I would pay him $500 for the fuel he spent on it. This was prior to the diesel fuel spike so I figured it was still partially for his time because I myself can't spend $500 in a week in fuel towing with that truck daily. However not only was my truck still wandering very badly when he gave me the back but when I was hitching my trailer up to it a day or two later I realized that the brand new Banks tail assembly pipe that I had just installed on it a month ago was missing. When I called to ask about the pipe figuring they must have just somehow forgotten to put it back on he told me he would ask the other special technicians for it because they themselves never touched it or had it. Well he claimed that non of the other technicians from other shops would fess up to it so he would pay it out of his pocket and just forget about the $500 fuel charge he was charging me for. That brand new pipe cost me $550. At this point I had lost all trust. Now I started doing research on line on my own asking for help on social media on pages with people with the same trucks. I posted a video of the new track bar still flexing and they basically laughed at me accusing me of doing the improper work myself because the track bar was flexing due to it being installed UPSIDE DOWN. When I asked how I should fix it and that I paid someone to do it they gave me insertion how to fix it myself and told me to immediately fire that mechanic. Unfortunately it still didn't fix the wandering issue so I tried another local mechanic in town to try and hopefully fix the issue. That last mechanic basically shook his head and told me, and I quote "I feel sorry for you". I gave him the receipts of the work Jake had done and he told me I was basically being milked. This new mechanic took me into his shop while my truck was on the lift and showed me exactly what those new ball joints were doing to my wheels by trying to force the tires manually. He not only switched the ball joints for me fixing the wandering issue but he did it in half the time the Jake charged me for. Now if I was being purposely charged extra to be swindled or I was charged extra hours due to lack of experience, I will leave it up to the reader or the next unfortunate customer this happens to. Either way you look at it it still comes down to unethical practice since my work towing rig could inevitably cause harm to anyone in the vehicle as well as anyone around me on the road with the amount of horrible wandering and improperly installed parts it had. I have waited many weeks now for a response and for the promised reimbursement for improper installation and have not heard a word or response to my text message or voice message I left with his other shop technicians since now when I call he never happens to be available to talk. So at this point I don't expect any reimbursement for my loss. My only hope is that no one else receives the experience I have had and looses thousands in wasted money.

I am writing this to formally address the illegal towing of my vehicle from the AMF Bowling property earlier today September 26, 2026 I had my car break down last night and as it was very late i planned on parking it on AMF Bowling since they are a private owned buisness. I live right down the street and felt it would be safe. At around 10 am my husband and I made our way down to the bowling ally and discovered it was gone. We went in and were directed to Bob. The manager of this establishment. Bob was amazing and has helped us.all day . He looked at the video for us and let us know what information he could so we could track down the tow company. He alse stated he is the one that calls for tows and no they do not have a contract with any towing compnay .Bob was very gracious and also contacted the property owner and they confirmed they do not have a contract with your towing company, and they referred this matter to their legal department. Despite this, your company falsely reported to the police that a contract existed. Furthermore, the report was filed in Peoria, even though the incident occurred in Phoenix--a mistake your staff dismissed as an entry error. Under Arizona law, a vehicle towed from private property must be released upon presentation of proper identification. Withholding a vehicle or demanding payment prior to release is illegal, as any fee disputes must be pursued through small claims court. Additionally, the $300 fee demanded by your employee, Jason, exceeds the local fee cap. After speaking with a Phoenix Police Sergeant, a second officer was dispatched to the scene, and after talking with Bob and taking pictures of the property he found so signage- which directly contradicted what a empoyee of your company stated; saying there are signs posted everywhere . Following this police involvement, your company offered to release the vehicle, contradicting earlier statements from your yard workers that the facility was closed and staff were unable to process a release. The owner Alex contacted AMF bowling trying to get our number so that he could get in contact with us. Which leads us to believe that thier is no clear communication between that staff/and the owner as they have our contact info. This situation resulted in the loss of a full day's wages and significant distress. Due to these unlawful actions and improper reporting, I will be reporting your company to the relevant regulatory authorities and seeking legal counsel. During these hard economic times that us hard working Americans are going through it is incredibly disappointing and distressing to see a company have fradualent and predatory tactects I urge anyone who comes accross vigilant towing and impound to stand up for your rights and do not let them scare you and extort you. Reporting these type of modern day criminals is the only way we can hold them accountable .​

I had the situation in this picture. Rats chewed many wires under the hood, I don't know where…read morethey go, but all the spark plugs wires were eaten through. You can see tow truck cannot access from front or back. TWO MJ Tow men arrived with a tow truck with a huge platform, like a multiple car trailer. As soon as they saw my little 18 ft RV parked on my parking pad next to the alley they said "No we can't move that, it's too heavy", so they didn't even try and there were TWO men, "We can't pull it out". The second tow truck arrived just with one person from company called Woodies Towing. He took hold of my steering wheel and turned it and pushed with his body so the truck DID move it backwards, rather easily. And then he turned the steering wheel again and pushed with his own body yes, just his one person and moved it forward. And then he did the same thing, turned the steering wheel more, again and push with his body and was able to move the truck backwards. He did this back and forth by himself about six times back and forth, until he was able to roll the truck off of the parking pad and pushed it out of the alley. Then he was able to connect his tow truck to the wheels and loaded onto the tow truck. Here is my five star review of Woodies Towing company. I told these details to Safeco Towing dispatch and they wrote down all the detail how TWO MJ Tow didn't even attempt to push the truck and move it and then this one man working for Woodies Towing did it all by himself by patiently pushing the truck back and forth and each time turning the steering wheel more and more, until he was able to roll the truck off the parking pad into the alley and push it into the street, where he loaded it up on his tow bed.
