I asked for a diagnostic for the vehicle and they could not provide so I took the vehicle to an auto shop during my test drive. The technician pointed out that everything under the hood had been therally cleaned but there was still evidence of leaking in the Joses and gaskets that were attached to to major components of the vehicle. Long story short the vehicle needs roughly $2000 in repairs. If you buy any trade-ins from this establishment, be sure to get a diagnostic done during test drive because they will clean up and try to hide any faults it may have and sell you the vehicle at highest possible price!

Carmax has been too busy, appointments are 2-3 months out for a repair through the warranty. The only repair shop that accepted Assurant was 1 1/2 hours away from me. I had to file a formal complaint against the repair shop with Assurant the mechanic did such a horrible job with a simple repair. I have had to use outside mechanics to fix the repairs. However, Assurant finds every loop hole possible to deny a claim. I don't believe Carmax did their 125 point inspection on the van I bought. Had they done the inspection, the short in my van would have been discovered. Instead, I have had five breakdowns requiring immediate towing. Carmax service department has not even returned the last few calls I made trying to get an appointment for repair under the warranty. I find the majority of mechanics do not wish to deal with Assurant Warranty as it is too time consuming and the representatives have been rude and not well trained and are quick to deny coverage. After reviewing the code in her 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe, the car needed a new engine, and it was a recall. Initially, the service team provided excellent service. We paid nearly 2,000.00 for suggested service surrounding an engine replacement. We live 3 hours from this location and when it was ready, we drove to pick it up. When we drove about 17 miles, the check engine light came on again, so we called and they told us to drive it back. After reviewing the code, we were told it was the catalytic converter and that had nothing to do with the recall. We were told it was safe to drive home and if there were any issues, we could take it to the local dealership, and the engine issue would be covered. When we got home, we took the vehicle to a local mechanic to check the converter. They called me in and told me to stop driving it immediately. The manifold cover was damaged, and oil was leaking all over the place. I called Taylor Hyundai, and after multiple attempts, by phone and text, from both my daughter and I, I finally got a call back. I was told to take it to my local Hyundai Dealership. So, I did, and I was told by service it was not their problem and only the dealership that did the work can look at it for free. So began my journey of trying to reach Taylor Hyundai. It's been almost 2 weeks. Between my daughter, my wife, and I, we have left several messages and cannot get ahold of anybody but service. Every number they transfer us to goes straight to voicemail. We have received no call backs after leaving several messages. No texts responding to a call back. This is the most terrible service I have ever received by any company. At this point, I will have to reach out to Hyundai USA.
