More recently we signed him up for their Drive Test Package which included a 1-hour pre-drivers test lesson with an experienced ex-DMV examiner and followed by a successful driving test at the DMV. Our first interaction with A-Z Driving School was with Erin, she was very helpful and thoroughly went over all the options of service they provide. The prices are fair, they offer continuously flexible session times, and their cars are clean and recent models. A-Z's driving instructors are professional, patient and exude great communication and experience to teach effectively. We'd like to extend special thanks to Erin, Dillion and Anita. They helped us through this necessary but stressful life event and are terrific people.

His first lesson was with Natalie. She was great. He was very nervous and she helped ease his nerves. After the lesson, she had wrote down the areas he needed to focus on. She went over it with both my son and me. He also got a checklist to prepare for the driving test. His next two lessons were with Steve, who was very professional and got him on the freeway and helped him with preparing for the exam including backing up. A few months later, we got two more lessons (4 hours). Erin again was a great help in helping schedule. He had another lesson with Steve. He also had another instructor Katie, also professional and helped him with parking and other areas he requested more practice with. My son passed his driving exam today on the first try. The foundations provided to him definitely helped. I've recommended A-Z to other parents looking for lessons.

He is adept at observing to see exactly what the student is doing wrong and coming up with a formula to correct it. Additionally, he is extremely professional. He was always punctual and polite, never raised his voice and never did anything that diminished my confidence in any way as a student who was initially struggling. I have always had some anxiety about driving, but I actually looked forward to my lessons because I started to enjoy driving as I could feel myself improving. It was at 3pm which was good for my son to deal with afternoon traffic driving. Instructor: very communicative via text and phone call. Sometimes he was early, which worked great for us. First lesson: went over rules of road and allowed son to drive with much guidance. Second lesson: more driving for my son and learning to merge or lane change. We were willing to pay additional funds to help our daughter competently manage the responsibility of a car. We paid for 82 hours of lessons beginning 6/18/25 to 10/18/25. All of our payments were made directly by request to Mack (real name: Mohsen Khaziri) and not Beverly Driving School. The number on his website is his cell phone. Mohsen was aware our daughter had learning disabilities and we were convinced he had the training and skills to help someone like her. Knowing that he was a father gave us even more confidence that she would get the security she needed. And the fact that we invested a significant sum of money is a testimony to our commitment to get her the help she needed. On our initiative, my wife and I did ride-alongs with Mack and our daughter because we put our trust in him as a professional. When our daughter started giving us feedback that her motivation for continuing was lacking, we didn't take it too seriously since it's been a challenge for her to stick with things. Later, we realized the discomfort wasn't the process but was with Mack. Our daughter told us she was touched inappropriately on multiple occasions. He repeatedly asked to meet with her outside of lessons and requested it be kept secret. I confronted Mack by phone on 10/18/25 and after asking directly, he acknowledged viewing pictures of her on her phone. I also asked him directly about touching her thigh and he said yes - apparently because she moved her seat too far forward. Lastly, I asked him if he had ever behaved inappropriately and he denied it. He did not apologize for any of this but changed the subject to her upcoming driving test. My wife and I have taken further steps with the police about this. We filed police report P25-291-0621 with SJPD Officer D. Tran #5131. He took advantage of a person with learning disabilities and it doesn't matter what age. It was one of the most deplorable things one can do. It was done from a position of immaturity and he could have told us this was going on but he didn't say a word. We do not want this behavior to be repeated with anyone else. In addition, at the end of summer, Mack also asked us for a significant cash advance because he "needed it". We refused. I also repeatedly asked for billing statements and after repeated entreaties, received a hastily typed word document. I'm still waiting for a summarized statement of our lessons.

I don't know who is replying as "Amber R. Business Owner". It appears to be more of the fraud. DriversEd.com is owned by "Interactive Solutions, Inc." not someone named Amber! The CEO of Interactive Solutions, Inc. is the English scam-artist David Fried. You sign up for a drivers ed class and they automatically charge your credit card $5 a month for "roadside assistance" but cannot explain what assistance you will get, or how you would contact them for any assistance if you needed it. There is nowhere on the website that you signup on to cancel the non-existent assistance. You call the number and they don't pick up instead the automatic voice-mail system asks for your phone number to text you instructions to the "payment portal". They never send the text. You call and call and call and eventually you get a call center in India (which somehow only operates during Central Time-Zone business hours) that doesn't know how to cancel the "subscription". You go round and round and get nowhere. This website is a SCAM and a FRAUD and there is no "business owner" named Amber. On their professional looking website they has a BBB Accredited Business logo with BBB Rating: A+ but the BBB website says they are not accredited. This company is a total scam. It has been fined by the state of California for deceptive marketing practices. The people running it a con-artists. read more

I have given them 3 shots and they have failed miserably each time. For one: they offer a live chat on their site, which seems cool and should be convenient and quick, since that's the entire point of offering live chat. This dump clearly did not get that memo, however, as they 1. take about 2-4 min to even acknowledge you and 2. cannot answer a single question you have. All they do is copy and paste the number to call for any question you have. I do not think they even have real people do it! Don't offer what you cannot maintain! They only offer a bare minimum of prices on their site,. They do not show what they charge for DMV sessions, 1 hour lessons or anything. Either they offer the bare minimum and are good for almost nothing or they don't think the rest of their services are important enough to show on their site. I have called them too and they are as unaccommodating as it gets. My sister used them and said the instructor just raises his voice throughout the lesson, which is stupid and careless and unprofessional. Use either Bay Cities Driving School or California Drivers Academy. They get great reviews and most of my friends have used them and love them. Similar if not cheaper prices too and they are independent, so they treat customers better, it seems. This place is huge and acts like they can;t handle their shit. read more

I didn't know where to begin .I called and rep by the name Wendy was very helpful. She was so nice and explained the process to me step by step and was very patient with all my questions . She was very professional on the phone ,although it was difficult hearing with all the excitement in the back round , but we got threw it ! Credit should be given where credit is deserved . Excellent instruction and customer service! I highly recommend Carl Pollitt for a driving instructor. I decided to request Carl based on a recommendation from a friend who passed his DMV drivers test, and I'm so glad I did! Carl was very professional and personable, and provided incredibly helpful tips and stories that improved my driving. Also, he is a very calm instructor that simultaneously corrects and reassures your driving if your are new to the road. Definitely recommend Mr. Carl Pollitt. He's very polite, outstanding instructor and very amazing. I learned a lot of extra tips and tricks such as; how to park in a tight area, space cushions, and predicting outcomes. The company is totally mismanaged. They sent an instructor 3 hours before the scheduled time. Their dispatcher, who goes by the name of Victor, is a total incompetent. However, it gets even worse, because they pad the charges claiming the services which have never been rendered. read more
