Both of my kids took their driving lessons with Mack and both passed their driving tests! Mack is very patient, calm, and easy to work with. He made my kids feel comfortable behind the wheel and helped build their confidence with driving. We had a great experience with him, and I really appreciate all the time and patience he had with both of my kids. I would definitely recommend Mack to anyone looking for a good driving instructor, especially for teens learning to drive! read more

Because our 19-year old daughter has learning disabilities, my wife and I wanted to make sure she received additional driving instruction and contacted Beverly Driving School. We were willing to pay additional funds to help our daughter competently manage the responsibility of a car. We paid for 82 hours of lessons beginning 6/18/25 to 10/18/25. All of our payments were made directly by request to Mack (real name: Mohsen Khaziri) and not Beverly Driving School. The number on his website is his cell phone. Mohsen was aware our daughter had learning disabilities and we were convinced he had the training and skills to help someone like her. Knowing that he was a father gave us even more confidence that she would get the security she needed. And the fact that we invested a significant sum of money is a testimony to our commitment to get her the help she needed. On our initiative, my wife and I did ride-alongs with Mack and our daughter because we put our trust in him as a professional. When our daughter started giving us feedback that her motivation for continuing was lacking, we didn't take it too seriously since it's been a challenge for her to stick with things. Later, we realized the discomfort wasn't the process but was with Mack. Our daughter told us she was touched inappropriately on multiple occasions. He repeatedly asked to meet with her outside of lessons and requested it be kept secret. I confronted Mack by phone on 10/18/25 and after asking directly, he acknowledged viewing pictures of her on her phone. I also asked him directly about touching her thigh and he said yes - apparently because she moved her seat too far forward. Lastly, I asked him if he had ever behaved inappropriately and he denied it. He did not apologize for any of this but changed the subject to her upcoming driving test. My wife and I have taken further steps with the police about this. We filed police report P25-291-0621 with SJPD Officer D. Tran #5131. He took advantage of a person with learning disabilities and it doesn't matter what age. It was one of the most deplorable things one can do. It was done from a position of immaturity and he could have told us this was going on but he didn't say a word. We do not want this behavior to be repeated with anyone else. In addition, at the end of summer, Mack also asked us for a significant cash advance because he "needed it". We refused. I also repeatedly asked for billing statements and after repeated entreaties, received a hastily typed word document. I'm still waiting for a summarized statement of our lessons. read more

My daughter took the required 6 hours of lesson with Mack when she received her permit. We spent a lot of time driving together during her 6 month permit period. She then took one more lesson prior to her driving test at the DMV and passed with ZERO ERRORS the first time! Mack was patient and calm during all lessons. I highly recommend his lessons and if you plan to test at Santa Teresa he knows all the routes. read more

I can't say enough good things about Mack! I'm in my 30s and had never practiced driving before, and honestly I was completely freaked out about learning. I thought it was too late for me! Mack worked his entire schedule around my tight timeline since I had to move to SoCal within a month. He made time for back-to-back lessons, stayed patient through all my nerves, and kept me motivated (and safe!). When I failed my first driving test due to a technicality, he immediately helped me reschedule and made sure I was ready for my next one. Thanks to him, I passed before my move. He's such a kind, encouraging teacher and knows exactly how to build your confidence fast. He's super communicative, always on time, and really focused on safety. He even took me on the highway and around different neighborhoods so I could learn how to handle a variety of situations. I'm so grateful for everything he taught me and would recommend him to anyone who thinks they're too old or too anxious to learn. Mack makes it possible! read more

I highly recommend Mack, a great teacher in driving and life. He taught me what I should learn in the US, confidence, safety and attention to details. He made sure I was equipped so when I took my driving test I passed and finished with confidence. I highly recommend him most specially if you just moved to the US or a first time driver. He will make sure that when you finish his lessons and get your license, you are not just ready on the road but in life as well. Thank you Mack! Really appreciate all the learnings! read more

If you're looking for a sign to book Mack as your driving instructor - this is it. I'm a 34-year-old woman who never learned how to drive and believed, deep down, that I never would. Every attempt in the past just fueled my anxiety further. I even tried learning from another instructor who came highly recommended, especially for adult learners, but the experience left me feeling even more defeated. That was the moment I started to believe: maybe driving just isn't for me. But as my learner's permit neared expiration, I knew I had to try again. On March 22nd , 2025, I called Mack - just one month before my permit expired. I had a list of five other driving schools to call, but after one conversation with him, I knew: he is going to be my teacher. That single call melted away a chunk of the anxiety I'd been carrying for years. From the very first lesson, Mack didn't just teach me how to drive - he took my fear, threw it out the window, and replaced it with confidence. He made me fall in love with driving - something I never thought was possible. Every session felt like a motivational boost. He understood exactly where I was struggling, guided me with patience, and celebrated every win, big or small. What makes Mack truly special is his extra mile approach. He studies each student carefully, tailors his teaching style, and never loses patience. He's not just a great instructor - he's a mentor, a coach, and someone who genuinely believes in your success. His life story only adds to your respect for him and helps you understand where his incredible calm and empathy come from. Less than a month after that call, I passed my behind-the-wheel test! A few weeks ago, I didn't think I'd ever be able to drive. Today, I feel unstoppable and it's because of Mack. He didn't just teach me a life skill; he gave me a sense of self-belief that spills into every other part of my life. If you're someone who's anxious, hesitant, or thinks driving "just isn't for you" ...Mack will change your mind. One session is all it takes to understand what makes him the best. Honestly, I'm already dreaming about learning motorcycle riding someday and I know exactly who I'll call. read more

I always had my kids drive with him first before I get in the car so I don't pass on my anxiety to them. They were both so confident after driving with him that I was able to be at ease when I drove with them. We will definitely use him for our third. Highly recommend Beverly driving school! read more

When my teen was ready to drive I looked up driving schools and came upon this one. Mack was super patient and gave my son 3 sessions to obtain the certificate he needed. Each time, he came and my son drove for 2 hour sessions. He learned the basics but also Mack taught valuable lessons that served as a good foundation to be a safe and responsible new driver. When it came time 6 months later to take the driving test at DMV, I scheduled a refresher lesson specifically focused on readying him to pass the driving test. Mack took him to routes to familiarize him with the streets around the testing place. He provided great tips and helped calm a very nervous student. My teen was able to pass on the first try and we really appreciated all the lessons he learned from Mack. read more

Finally I passed the test..me and My Wife are very grateful and thank God, for bringing us together with the best and most patient driving teacher, he is Mr. Mack..he is not only a teacher, but he also shared with us about the meaning of having a good family. My wife and I took the class. He was very enthusiastic and Mr. Mack gave 1 of the most important things in driving. He said that driving must think carefully about the family we bring with us. You can't just think about yourself. Thank you very much, Mr. Mack. For his time and hard work that has taken us home and away from Mountain View to Santa Teresa.. God Bless Mr. Mack and his family read more

Is it possible to give six stars? Ten stars? That's what I would give to Beverly Driving if I could. Mack was incredibly helpful to us as we navigated a last-minute driver training situation for my son. And I really mean "incredible" because Mack literally changed his personal schedule to accommodate our request. He did an evening driver training, and then followed that up with an early morning session prior to my son's driver test. He even met us at the DMV and helped us through the process! My son passed his test with flying colors, and we credit Mack for making it happen. Thanks, Mack!!! read more

Beverly Driving School is unremarkable and one of the best there is. Mr. Mack was an awesome instructor. This was the first time my 17-year-old daughter got behind the wheel and was very nervous and anxious. In their first meeting, Mr. Mack understood her nervousness was incredibly patient with her, and helped her build up her confidence after their first meeting. We liked him so much that I added 3 more sessions with Mr. Mack for my daughter. He went above and beyond by being there for her on her test date. He went with her to DMV and knowing that she was comfortable driving his car, he provided his car for her test. Thank you, Mr. Mack. If there were more than 5 stars I would give Mack the driving instructor. I am extremely satisfied with the patience and perseverance given my Mach towards my adult son. My son is mildly autistic and needs a lot more practice and patience and Mack was very patient with him and built confidence in my son and he passed the behind the wheel test yesterday. Mach made a significant impact on my son's driving and building his confidence that my son's driving improved a lot in a few days. I would highly recommend Mach to anyone who needs to improve driving and pass the driving test.
