My first impression of the company with the original person we were assigned: Farid was not good. He tried calling me at 10:18 pm. No one should ever call someone that late. He had texted me two times asking for address though it was provided when I registered. I asked about the schedule. I tried to call him and he told me to text him only. I text him saying I'm driving home and I'm not gonna be texting and driving. I'm not gonna play text tag that it needs to be a phone call so we can figure out the schedule. SO I called the office and asked if we could have a different driver because I wasn't going to play text tag with someone. Also that my daughter would be leaving out of state in a couple weeks. The person I spoke with was on the ball! I got a new driver and had my daughter set up with Sabaoon 2 days later. My daughter was nervous going with a stranger. We let him know not to get out of the vehicle because of our dog. She said that the first say was fun. They drove on Monterey Road to San Jose and through side roads. We were able to get all 3 sessions done within a week which was awesome. She said that Sabaoon was understanding and kind. I think I was more nervous than her for her to go on the freeway for the third day. But I would definitely recommend Sabaoon. She said he wad a great instructor. read more

Best choice for driving school. They have pick ups and drop offs to and from home, work, any pickup point, FREE. Sab Un (not sure if this is spelled right), aka Mike, was an amazing trainer with plenty of both experience and patience. He helped me get used to the car, the roads, and so on, gradually, in a way that made me comfortable learning new things along with their varying difficulty. I was convinced to go from the 5-hour course to the 18-hour purely because of how good of a teacher he was. I went from no experience to feeling like driving was second nature by the end of it. I also took taking the car to the DMV package, which was great because I tested in a car I was familiar with. Going with this school was the best choice I made for learning to drive. read more

Highly recommend this drivers school! The cost was a lot better than road runner which drew me to it in the first place. My driver instructors name was Saboon and I highly recommend him. He is very patient and never yells when you make a mistake. If I ever had any questions he would explain it until I would completely understand the concept. I was able to get my three sessions done in less than 2 months because Saboon was very flexible with his schedule. I felt very comfortable and after completing the courses, I have nothing but the best of words to say. I am excited to start driving on my own and am so grateful to Saboon for giving me a boost of confidence I needed to pursue a new chapter in my life. He is an easy person to keep a conversation with, but is also very aware! I will never forget my first lesson and he told me to switch lanes. I didn't look to my blind spot, but he did. I contacted this driving school as a backup because my daughter had two hours left to complete of her training and her test will be this Tuesday. We were having scheduling difficulties with her instructor at a different company and I was told by that instructor to push back her dmv test which was not an option at this point, so I contacted A-hero. They were so helpful and accommodating and he was willing to get her in Monday the 22cd and get everything handled. Luckily, the owner at the other company stepped in to take my daughter personally this weekend since I had already paid, but that doesn't take away from the customer service I was given here. I was feeling so stressed but they really made me feel better. I am so thankful they were willing To work with me last minute to ensure my daughter was going to be able to keep her test date. I hope you find this review helpful and as a resource to further assist in making an appropriate decision for yourself and/or your child. Pros: My son said the driving instructor was fantastic. He was patient and provided clear instructions. He also communicated well with me. I'd give me a 4.5 stars as there were some minor timeliness and scheduling issues. Cons: The school however is 2 stars at best. When I initially called they were very helpful and said all the right things such as wanting to ensure my son receives the instruction he needs and that he has the tools to pass the driving test, including delaying the last two instructional hours until he was close to taking the behind the wheel test. After I signed my son up and paid for the sessions, the verbal commitment changed to pushing to get the sessions completed so they can get him "off the books." I called and spoke with the office person and he initially said DMV required that the sessions be completed in a certain timeframe. Given my occupation I knew that was a complete lie, including his other statement that my son wasn't allowed to drive on the freeway until his third session. By this this point I was tired of his adamant and self-righteous lies, so I said thanks but you're wrong and had my son complete his hours. I will enroll my son in additional instruction just prior to his behind the wheel test, but not at this school. Rather, at one of the reputable schools that delay the third session just prior to the DMV behind the wheel test. My conclusion is if your looking for just a driving teacher than this school works well. If you're however looking for driving instructions with the goal of passing the behind the wheel test than this may not be the best option. read more

I started taking lessons with Jay at AAA Driving School- a little later than most people start learning to drive, with no previous driving experience. I started the lessons in March; his goal was to get me driving with a license within three months. I just took my road test and passed it at the end of June. From my experience with Jay, I can say that the instructors at AAA Driving are patient, but also push you to succeed. I registered for driving lessons with Sabaron as my instructor. It was a really nice experience, he taught me everything I needed to know and helped me improve my weaknesses. He was also very observant from lesson to lesson so he pointed out how my driving has progressed. The Prius was used for my lessons and the new Toyota SUV was used for my driver's test, and I passed! He pointed out the speed limits, unprotected intersections, etc. so I was very prepared for my test. Overall, it was a great experience and I would recommend anyone looking for a driving instructor to AAA driving school! read more
