I really want to thank Anika for the driving lessons, and I was able to pass the drive test on the first try. She is very professional in her work and always made sure to demonstrate or explain anything where I needed more clarity. A few other things I really liked were her patience and calm attitude during lessons, which is especially important for beginners. She paid attention to small details that actually helped a lot during the test. I also liked that she gave periodic feedback and useful tips that were very helpful in improving my driving skills. Every lesson felt productive and informative, and I got many opportunities to handle different road situations, which made me feel much more confident behind the wheel. I am really grateful for all her help and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking to take driving lessons. read more

We selected this school on recommendation from a friend. We wanted a school that didn't give you a different teacher every lesson. Consistency was what we were after. We also wanted a female (my nephew, upon discussion with his friends, thought a female instructor would be more patient lol) We got that and more more with ARS. We selected Package D so my nephew could use the car he had lessons in for his driver's test. My nephew immediately liked Anika. She communicated well on when lessons would be and if any had to be rescheduled. She gave lesson notes after lessons so my nephew knew what he needed improvement on. My nephew passed on today his first try! He is now a licensed driver! We cannot recommend ARS enough. If you have a young driver that needs lessons ARS is the perfect school. read more

Anika taught me, my mom, and my brother and we all passed our driver's license test. Anika is really helpful since she emails you short lecture videos and notes that you can review prior to your in-person session with her. She is very calm and very knowledgeable so I was able to keep calm while learning how to drive. She also uses a car with an instructor's brake in the passenger seat so she can slow down the car if you're going too fast or if you make a mistake. I felt really safe learning how to drive with her. I would highly recommend her! read more

This review is LONG overdue. My oldest boy took his behind-the-wheel training from Anika in 2019, and my youngest boy received his behind-the-wheel training Anika in 2021. Both of my boys have remained great drivers since their lessons after all these years, and I attribute much of that to the skills and habits taught by Anika. Anika is polite and professional. My boys found her to be really pleasant to be with. I highly recommend Anika to anyone who is seeking a great driving skills teacher for their loved ones. read more

Anika is a very attentive and thorough instructor. I taught my teen daughter how to drive over several months. I contacted ARS to complete her 6 hours of training. I noticed the detail in the notes in which I as an everyday driver just do, but forgot to teach my daughter. Anika taught my daughter how to properly drive defensively and proactive in the road in order to stay safe. We feel so great on her progress and have confidence she will pass her driving test! Anika gave specific information around the driving test and how to get a passing score. Thank you so much ARS! read more

ARS is wonderful (im a student) it couldn't have been a better fit, the lessons are accurate, thorough, and timed around your schedule. Everything goes very smoothly my questions were answered right away with more than enough information to understand. Something that's also very helpful is that after lessons I received notes to study which helped a lot with both the following lesson and the drivers test!. I was nervous before my test but by them time it came around I was confident because ARS had fully prepared me, I now have my license and know how to be a an observant, confident, SAFE driver. I am so grateful I chose to learn from ARS. read more

ARS was great! My son originally started with another driving school, but didn't feel he was getting anything out of it. A friend recommended Anika with ARS, and stated her son really liked her and was really comfortable driving with her. So, I scheduled my son's last behind the wheel with Anika. She gave my son lots of tips and feedback. Even wrote down some things to remember when he went for his driving test. I'm happy to say he passed on this first try. I would highly recommend ARS and Anika. read more

Anika is an amazing instructor who made me feel comfortable in the car from the very first session I had with her. She is incredibly thorough and methodical in the way she delivers her lessons, both verbally and through notes, which allowed me to retain information and apply it while driving. When I had to take a break due to school, she was flexible and accommodating, and I was able to easily pick up where I left off. Anika's calm, pleasant demeanor meant so much to me, building my confidence from the first lessons all the way to the driving exam (which I passed on the first try!) I enjoyed every session I had with her, and I would highly recommend ARS Driving School. read more

I have sent 3 teenagers to ARS for driving education and packages. All 3 of them got their licenses with the first attempt The confidence they achieved after practicing with Anika was greatly appreciated. I was too nervous to teach them and she made them feel so comfortable. My last teen passed her test last week and now I'm done with this chapter as a parent. Over 4 driving sessions and 3 practice tests, ARS helped me (adult driver, limited behind-the-wheel experience) pass my drive test in October. Highlights of learning from Anika: 1. explained specific safe-driving techniques (in real time, then reviewed at the end of each session) 2. calm instruction 3. with ARS team, took time to accommodate schedule Also I found the detailed description for each package, as well as the variety, very useful to suit individual practice needs. Overview: definitely recommend! Special thank you to Anika. read more

Anika is the best teacher, hands down. I would highly recommend taking her classes. I could not have gotten my license in my first try without her help. Now when I say help, what I mean is that she goes above and beyond the regular driving lessons/sessions. I was able to text and call her anytime with doubts which I had several and she made sure she answered everything to the dot and even implemented those during the next driving sessions/lessons so that it stuck in my head while on the road. Now what is unique about Anika is her driving notes, clear with instructions and diagrams and she drills these into your head literally up until the last minute when you are waiting in the DMV test line. The confidence and support she provides is amazing. She teaches with the goal of not just to pass the test but she teaches you to drive safely with the right techniques that are handy forever. Her notes are gold ! Extremely professional. I highly recommend ARS driving school ! Thank you so much Anika!!! read more

I passed my test in the first attempt, and can't recommend Anika enough to anyone starting off/continuing their driving journey in the US! Her approach is very methodical, structured and w/ lots of feedback. She prepares us for everyday driving, exposing to different rules, and roads like freeway, expressway and residential roads; because if you can drive well everywhere, you'll drive in the test route too! She's very patient, since I had lots to unlearn initially, coming in with out-of-US permit, but she always talked me through the concepts. I'll miss her pep talks during driving, and pre- driving test. Driving isn't scary if you learn with Anika! read more

I purchased Package A. It cost me 155$. After that, every time I call the ARS number to make an appointment, it goes to voicemail. Very upset about potentially losing the money. Update: I thought I had paid online but this school does not take online payments. I had only registered online. I got a call back after posting the previous Yelp review. read more

Anika was amazing and was really helpful in preparing me for the driving test. I ended up passing on the first try after taking lessons with her! Highly recommend if you are looking for a driving school. read more

Beware of this driving school. The agreement was, Anika will also be accompanying my kid to the DMV for the test day for extra fee. I paid the fee, but she couldn't accompany my kid to the test. So I asked for a refund on the extra fee part, but she gave some unreasonable reasons such as: "oh you would have owed more money if I have charged you administrative fees, so I'll just not refund your money." What administrative fees??? That wasn't part of the deal. Please folks, look elsewhere for a better driving school who will not scam you for your money. I have told all my friends and family too to stay away from this school. Being dishonest is a bad way to do business. read more

My 17 year old son had the best experience with ARS. The instructor was highly knowledgeable in all aspects of the DMV process with drivers training, permit, drivers license. My son followed the plan and received his license after practicing with Anika on the first attempt. I was amazed. I highly recommend ARS for a seamless process in getting a drivers license for yourself or your teenager. read more

My driving instructor was Anika and because of her patience, driving knowledge, and thoroughness, I was able to pass my driving test on the first try! I purchased Package C, which was three 2 hour lessons, 6 hours total for $420. I felt as if 3 classes were sufficient and I felt pretty comfortable on the busy streets by the second class. Also, my instructor gave me notes which I was able to look through after each of my driving classes. Personally, those really helped to refresh my memory. Overall, I would definitely recommend this driving school to anyone wanting to get their drivers license for the first time. Good luck! read more

I found ARS Driving School on Yelp after my daughter passed her written driving test. After looking at other schools and talking to Anika; we opted to sign up for Package D which included 3 two hour driving lessons + a three hour DMV driving test slot which was coordinated and scheduled by ARS. Breaking it down: Outstanding customer service from the office and the instructor. Competitive pricing. Clean, mechanically sound car with passenger brake and gas pedal. One on one instruction (only one student in the car at a time). Superior instructor that makes learning to drive approachable while ensuring that the required knowledge is gained. Excellent in-person and email communication with instructor to outline areas for improvement and keep parents up-to-date. I have two more children that will need driving lessons; Anika and ARS will get that business without a doubt. All of the 5 Star reviews are very well deserved! Cheers! read more
