Good instructor and patient, but it's clear she just wants your money. I told her I have taken a few lessons before but she told me I must take four lessons with her to take the first test. She is telling me to give her nearly $500 when I already took lessons with other instructors which cost me this much. I wouldn't have minded paying that much if I failed the first attempt on my driving test. I tried to negotiate and say if I can take two lessons first, take the test and if I fail I can give her the results and we can go from there, but she refuses. Her answer was that she could not afford any accidents in her car. That is why you have the DMV instructor next to you before you can cause an accident lol. Look elsewhere if you are somewhat experienced because she will not take in students who just want two lessons. EDIT TO REPLY: Oh my, that's why insurance takes care of it, something I have. And if you were not comfortable of me using your car if I did not have "confidence" then I did not have to use your car, something you guys also did not communicate to me. Dont waste your time. I took a couple classes from kuljit as i found it to be highly rated. The 1st day when she arrived she began speaking in Hindi (assuming I will know the language) and she made a silly comment when i told her i dont speak Hindi. She made me feel bad each time I made a mistake (we all make mistake as beginners) but she said "See, I noticed it..(taking pride) otherwise you might have caused an accident " She loved to show off that they have been here for 17 years and said irrelevant things about her family her brand new car. I saw a maintenance required indication in her car and asked her about it and she got upset n said "we leeev in America, 17 years" When i asked her about what distance should i keep from the car in front of me when i am stopped at a signal she said i must be able to see the car's license plate. WHICH IS WRONG!! my new instructor said that i must be able to see full tires of the car ahead of me so that if it breaks down, i'l have enough space to turn around that car. After 2 sessions i dint want to go back to her. I found another highly rated school which was way more organized. The instructors there were so good and honestly had no time to "gossip" as they were continuously giving instructions to look left n right, full tires during stop and so on. They also emailed me notes and were very very methodical that i passed my drive test on my 1st attempt. If u want average instructions and want the cheapest sessions, go to Kuljit. read more

Both my teenage kids took lessons from Amarjit and both passed the DMV test on the first attempt. My daughter remarked that he is very patient. He gives good tips for safe driving, knows what is expected in the DMV test and makes sure he goes through it during the lessons. 10/06/2016-My wife had signed up to learn driving from here and took one class and registered for another class. Unfortunately she fell sick the previous night with flu and was in pretty bad condition so she messaged ( As it was pretty late in the night around 12 ) explaining that she is sick and will not be able to make it for driving tomorrow. The response was pretty hasty, unprofessional and insensitive about someone being sick. He was rude in his reply saying "See the time you are informing, I have many people waiting for me. Thanks for wasting my time". I understand it was late notification but he could have just said he cant cancel and we had to pay so that it was handled professionally and we would have paid him because i understand it was unexpected for both the parties. I would advice everyone against working with someone who is so unprofessional and hasty. Update after comment below: 10/08/2016- The insensitivity in the comment clearly shows how unprofessional this person is. If someone does not want to attend ( Let it be any case but in this case was coz of a spiking fever ) then if you want to not cancel then you ask for payment or you cancel without one which is as simple as that. There is no need to question why someone felt sick so late night or speak sarcastically over messages. Yes money was offered and she was being sarcastic in response to the rude messages he was sending. The above message the business has put clearly accepts they behaved unprofessionally and I once again strongly recommend no one to take up any classes here. You need an instructor with patience when you or your loved one is on road learning. I did 2 classes with Kuljit (2 hours each) and then took the test with Amarjit at Santa Clara dmv. They were both very good trainers and helped me to understand different situations you might encounter while driving and specifically behind the wheel driving test. If there is something specific that you are not confident about, they give you the required practice to make you confident. Great teacher!!! I didn't personally ride with him, it was my 20-year-old son who received one 2-hour lesson about a month ago. With that one lesson, and about 2 months of practice with myself, my son passed his behind-the-wheel driving lesson the FIRST time, with 0 errors! I'm not a great driving teacher, and he's only been practicing for about 2 months. So I have to give a lot of credit to Kuljit Driving Training. The teacher went through what was on the test, focusing on what it takes to pass. Judging purely by results, I recommend this Driving School highly. I heard about this driving school from one of my friend. My wife took two (2hour) sessions before going to behind the wheel test. Amarjeet is very professional in training. He not only concentrated on 'just passing' exam. He also pointed out lot of 'good' driving practices as well throughout the class. I would definitely recommend this school. With previous driving training and two lessons with Amarjit, I failed the test at Santa Teresa DMV once and passed the second time. I used Amarjit's car for both tests. Amarjit had some communication issues and neglected to respond to some of my texts, but he accommodated my second driving test on short notice. I had Amarjit for instructing my teenager for her Drive test just past month and I am very impressed to say the least with his training. Very bad instructor. Since I had previous driving experience, assumed 1 class would be enough. But after the one class, i felt i was not ready and asked him if i can have another 2-3 classes. But he insisted I was ready and told v ll practice in test route before test. But he hardly showed one test route for 5 minutes and hurried me for the test. Despite failing the test, I had to pay him 200$ and he did not even ask him to take few more classes. Shows that they are only after the money and do not care about clients passing the test. read more
