Came here to purchase a 2007 Chevy Cobalt SS. The ad online said the car was running fine and nothing was wrong with it other than the rather high mileage. My test drive with it proved otherwise. Had a bad clutch, lower control arm bushings were bad, the I-shaft was bad, driver side speaker was out, etc. However, as I am a mechanic, I figured I could simply fix these things and have a nice little supercharged sports coupe. My salesman, Mauricio, was a pretty nice guy, but was a little pushy for me to purchase the vehicle since it was supposedly going to auction in a few days. They offered me a piss poor price for my 96 Eclipse. So I shredded their check of 500 dollars and sold it on the streets for about quadruple that. I scraped together a downpayment and decided to go ahead with the purchase. Seemed a little shady since it had a sticker price of only $7000 but with the absolutely outrageous interest rate of 17.5% brought it up to nearly $12,000. I know you never go by sticker price but that was just insane. There were so many excuses as to why it had such a high rate. Even with good credit! At least they were able to work with me on what monthly payment I wanted. So after saying no to a million pricey packages they were trying to sell me, I took it home anyways. A few days later it broke down in a drive thru and they refused to help me at all. No tow truck, no assistance, no nothing. I had a 5 day return policy and they just said "Oh well too bad just push it over here and we'll give you half of what it's worth". It has left me on foot 3 times. And I had to spend well over $2000 in parts just to get it running again. Seems like they almost sabotage these cars just to sell repair packages. Today, the car is restored to nearly 100% and I will just refinance to get rid of that ridiculous interest rate. The two stars is only for the nice salesman and the monthly payment that was worked with. I may never buy a car from here again. read more

First off, my review is geared towards Driver's Mart customer service. I did get a pretty good deal price-wise on my vehicle, so I will give them one star for that. Know this now: they will try and sell you every little add-on package. Even after telling them emphatically that I didn't want any service package, they still put it in my deal anyways. I had to drive back just to resign my papers because they screwed it up. Then two weeks later I'm getting hassled to sign another form they forgot to give me originally. The finance lady admitted it was her fault but wanted me to drive the form back to them after I printed it out and signed it. Great, so I get to waste my time and gas over your mistake? Don't service your vehicle here. If you want quality work done thats going to last more than two years I'd find someplace else. Took My 09 Malibu in for my Drivers side headlight malfunctioning intermittently. The issue was Fixed and Lasted for two years and is now doing the same thing again. I called the service Dept about this issue and they told me that the vehicle was out of warranty and their service guarantee's are only good for 90 days. So what your telling me is that if your tech does crappy work but it lasts for the 90 days and fails then I'm assed out $300? He got defensive and rude so I hung up. I called back to speak to the Manager but got the run around so I left two messages with what happened to me in detail but got no call back. read more

Checked out a 2005 Impreza that was listed on Craigslist... No mention of a Check engine light alert. Runs like garbage. Was hoping to get out of my wagon and into a sedan but guess not. Cruise control doesn't work although they listed it on the ad. I'm bummed they didn't tell me before I wasted my time driving out there. Of course their excuse was that the car was sold as is. The sales rep didn't even know about the check engine light prior and said it cost $25 bucks just the get the code read. Terrible experience and the sale rep clearly did not want to be there either. I'm a little surprised at all the absolutely negative reviews about this place. Personally I had zero issues with the entire process. my wife and I stopped by with the intention at looking at 2 particular cars. On our way inside we were greeted by Steve Gansham, who was our sales man. He introduced himself and explain the process to us. he was very clear that the prices on the cars were final and that the dealership buys the cars "as is" and sells them in the same fashion. He also explained the 5 day return policy, so right off the bat I knew what we were dealing with. personally I hate negotiating on cars, so to me this place was heaven. we told him the two cars we saw online and he got the keys and pulled the cars around. we didn't even drive the vehicles, we quickly noticed that the trunk space was just too small. Steve was very patient and took us around some of the cars but we didn't see anything that we liked. he then mentioned that they had a whole other lot with cars that recently came in. we strolled around and found a couple vehicles that interest us. Steve went off to get the keys. unfortunately it took a while for him to find them but this was no big deal. when he finally found the keys and we test drove both vehicles. long story short, we made a decision on a Mazda CX9, fully loaded with 61k miles. we started the process on the financing, I informed them that my bank could give 2.8 for 60 months but that I was willing to see what they could do. they came back within 15 minuets and matched what my bank could do with a local credit union. the sales process took about 45 minutes, which is pretty normal. we rode off in our new car and the very next day I took it to a local garage and had them check out the vehicle. I know a little about cars but I'm not a mechanic. buying a used car is always risky, buying a used car "as is" is even more so. but luckily they have a 5 day return policy so I took advantage. took it the shop, they inspected and found nothing wrong with it. brakes were a little low and according to the manual it was due for sparkplugs. that's normal for the amount of miles on the car. no red flags, no issues. I will try to come back in 6 months and update the review but as of today we were are very happy with the purchase and the service we received. read more

Not sure of the issues everyone else had but this is my 2nd car from them and both experiences were great. I did my research so I knew what cars I was interested in and I found out beforehand how much financing I was approved for. Showed up and John Torres showed me around. He was exactly what I wanted from a salesman...he was friendly without being pushy. And most of all honest...he let me know if any of the cars I was looking at had issues. Once I made the decision on which car, the paperwork took about an hour and a half. Total process was about 3 hours. The only thing I have to complain about is the car not being free. I am new to the area and this dealership is right down the road from me. My salesman Ivanhoe Oramas was extremely professional and really took his time with me. I wasn't that easy of a customer due to the fact that I don't have any brand loyalty and I didn't really care about features so I was kinda all over the place which I have learned in the past is frustrating for some salespeople. Not the case with Ivanhoe. He took the time to actually find out what my lifestyle was like and what would fit it perfectly. He did a great job, I purchased a Kia Soul and to be honest I never thought I would ever own a Kia but I am pleasantly surprised and actually love the vehicle and it is perfect for loading and unloading my kayak and bikes. Even tho I was able to spend much more on a vehicle then I did I explained that I wanted to spend as little as possible and that still didn't deter him from spending quite a bit of time with me. I would highly recommend Ivanhoe Oramas and this dealership. I had an awesome experience which I wasn't expecting since I spent quite a bit of my life working for a 15 car line dealership in Pennsylvania as a salesperson and management so with the type of customer I was, I wasn't expecting to receive the treatment I did. BUYER BEWARE.......The sales man that I had could not answer any questions about any of the cars on the lot. He said all of the cars were serviced and if there were any issues the car could be returned within a week. I purchased an SUV that ended up having Hundreds of dollars in issues that any decent mechanic should have caught. When I brought the car back they said they would BUY the car back for less than I bought it for and they no longer had my trade in..... WHAT?! They said the I purchased the car the day I initially came in not the day I actually signed the papers and drove it off the lot, which by the way was late night and they gave me the keys with the tank completely on empty. I made it less than a mile before the warning signal came on. I would have expected more from any dealership under the Holler name..... So sad. read more

I came into the shop with a list of concerns and Mel was my main point of contact who took care of my vehicle with his team. Mel had great customer service, listened thoroughly and then let me know what needed done and the costs. My largest expense ($1000) for fixing my door locks was thankfully covered by my warranty through Drivers Mart and I only paid $100 deductible. Holler is a no haggle dealership (also no pressure sales staff) which means the sales team gets the same amount on a 45,000 car as they would on a 11,000 car. They get $699.00. The worst place ever to make a car purchase. We bought a car there 10 days ago and eventually the cooling fan was down. I asked them to fix that but they said business is business and they won't help even I bought it there. We had to pay another 400 to fix. Worst experience ever. First called and was told the vehicle I saw online was in stock. Drove 40 min to get there and they couldn't find it and told me there was another one just like it but $1000 more and 3000 more miles on it. So I asked them to sell it for the same price of the one I had called about and was rudely told no way no how could they do that. I asked for a manager and was told I couldn't talk to one that they don't talk to customers about price at all. Not to mention the car smelled like something died in it and the seats were stained with white dried sweat look. I was told the cars aren't looked at or reconditioned or checked at all when they get them so basically your taking a chance at buying a piece of junk. read more

If anyone has any thoughts of buying a car fom these scammers watch out.They are nothing but a low down bunch of crooks. Bought a corvette, sign the contract etc... 2 weeks later the car breaks down. We call their Serice dept. (Who have to be some of the most inept fools in the greater Orlando area).. They suckered us into their extended warranties but it was bs.Was supposed to cover towing..yeah right.When car broke down it was "oh no, we don't cover towing". Only after raising a stink do they cover it. Add this to the other more serious violations(EVEN POTENTIAL CRIMINAL) and people would be nuts to deal with them. Have to get the Atty. I purchased a vehicle a couple of years ago, and I was happy with the experience. It feels weird buying a car without negotiating or haggling the price, but I actually prefer it like this. From my experience, they will not budge on the price. I tried, and even left, and NOTHING. It's a policy that feels foreign, but once you truly believe that the price is the lowest that they will let it go for, it's actually refreshing, and cuts out a lot of BS. I'll be looking for another vehicle in a couple of months, and will be browsing their selection. First off being young I was targeted immediately when it came down to financing the vehicle I drove half way across the state for, I was "approved" by one of there several different credit unions; but, because I had no lines of credit history in the past I was REQUIRED to buy a 2000$ warranty from the credit union. Obviously I declined but they pestered and pressured, so I left after an hour of being told I can't leave with this car without the warranty. As I'm heading off to leave they magically can get the warranty off of the final deal. The used car manager from this point on was extremely rude to me and told me to leave if I'm not happy, and if it wasn't for the car being a gem in the rough I certainly would have. Second, the FIRST day I had my newly purchased car I started getting calls from all kinds of numbers trying to scam me. Its been about 3 weeks and I get at least 3-5 calls a day from random 800 numbers trying to sell me nonsense or scam me. Lastly I had to wait over 4 hours while they installed a gps in my vehicle due to the credit unions requirements. Got the car back finally and immediately noticed a large dent in the hood that wasn't there earlier in the day and sure enough I pop the hood and there the gps is, just basically tossed in place with wiring everywhere. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. The only way I can recommend this dealer is if you are very savvy or an enthusiast of a certain types of vehicles that you know everything about. Inspect every minor detail on the car and test everything on the road test. Reading through some of the comments here I got lucky and didn't get a lemon, but again I knew the ins and outs of the vehicle I came to purchase. read more

So me and my partner were looking for a used truck as a third vehicle and we went to drivers mart to look at one we saw online. We specifically told them to NOT shotgun his credit. ( sending it to multiple banks) not only did they do that they even sent it to a specific bank twice in one day!! 9 hits!!! Just from stopping in this place. That is only the beginning... There was one sales man that was very helpful named Thomas. And that's where the staff stops being friendly. There is an older very heavy set African American man who was talkative and interactive UTIL he realized we were together.. It was real awkward and obvious that he didn't want anything to do with us from then on. Even the general manager was not very helpful. He ended up buying the truck he really wanted from another dealer who did one hit and done!! The sad thing is his credit rating was good before hitting this dealership, the reason they hit multiple banks is because they came back with an approval right away but because of the parameters of the truck they wanted a large down. WOW!! There was a 4-Star Review from Kelly F. in 8/2008. She is either an employee or she was handsomely paid!! This was the second dealership we went to inside a week. We walked all around the lot before finally being approached by a salesman. Nice enough guy.....we though!! At first he seemed to be trying to help us find what we were looking for. And we found a car we liked & spent some time looking at it. Let me say this..... this is part of the Holler group of dealers. And this salesman said their dealership prides itself on keeping prices down. "The lowest price is what we have on the window" is what was pointed out to me. He said "we don't do any fixing on cars which is how we keep our costs down." Back to the car we were looking at. After going in the front & back seats & trunk area I find a couple telling items. One is that this car is possibly the exact car I test drove at one of their other dealerships last weekend based upon the exact same broken A/C vents in the backseat. And by the rear hatchback area is a suspicious line. I wet my finger & try to rub on it, thinking it just could be nothing. Nope!! And the salesman then does the same thing BUT he says "Oh you can just use a wet rag to get that off". LIAR!! No you can't!! That was a repair most likely done by a previous owner. I know because I've done a similar fix to one of my past cars. It's a fix of paint over a scratch. And I'm walking....... not to return after discussing this with my boyfriend. Went in from 100 miles away looking for a van. They had the van i wanted but I didn't have the VERY large down payment they were asking for. They called me the next day and the haggling over down payment and monthly payments began. After two weeks, they said I'd need a cosigner, fine, and when I got one they said the van I wanted was sold. What? I went on the websites of Holler and found it at Holler Hyundai. Nice, huh? When I asked why they lied to me, they said it was now out of my price range. Dirtbags, stay clear of this place, they will bait and switch you. Shame, shame. Found an even better van, with more features at Beck Chrysler in Palatka- worth the drive, did everything they said they would and more and did not nickle and dime me to death! The absolute worst. We had problems with our car from the beginning. Realize when you buy from them it's "as is" and they mean it. Car gave us trouble the SAME DAY we drove it off the lot, and they wouldn't even look at it without charging us. Their response was "you can have your old car back." Wow, thanks. Got a four year loan for the POS, in that time we spent more money on repairs than the price of the car. A few days after the very last payment on it, the transmission went. Now we have to get ANOTHER car. Nightmare and stress from beginning to end. They are completely full of it. Stay way. The people that I worked with at Driver's Mart are snakes. They tell you one thing and do another. I bought a vehicle with the intention of having my mechanic take a look. You have 5 days to return the vehicle if you find something. My mechanic looked over the car and found a few issues. I took it back to see if they would meet me in the middle to fix the issue. No they wouldn't and too actually return the car would have take at least a day to return. My advice. Do not buy a car from this place.
