I had a very disappointing and concerning experience at this dealership. When purchasing my vehicle, I was told at the time of signing that extended warranty and paint/fabric protection were mandatory for bank approval. After confirming directly with the lender, I was informed this was not true and that these add-ons are completely optional. When I contacted the dealership to address this issue, management was rude and dismissive, and I am still waiting for a call back from the General Manager. Within two weeks of purchase, the vehicle developed serious mechanical issues, including a check engine light, multiple diagnostic codes, cylinder misfires, an oil leak, and transmission problems. Given how quickly these issues appeared, it is extremely concerning that I was pressured into purchasing engine and transmission coverage and they were well aware of the the issues. I urgently needed a vehicle and feel misled and taken advantage of. I will be escalating this matter beyond the dealership. I strongly advise consumers to carefully review all paperwork and verify financing claims directly with their lender--warranties are never mandatory for loan approval. read more

DON'T BUY YOUR CAR FROM THEM. I bought a 2015 BMW-i3 2 weeks ago. It stopped twice. So I asked for a return. They refused for following their 5 days return policy. It was taken to the BMW service center. I was told that the battery was damaged by total discharge which means they sold a vehicle that already has a big issue that no one would never buy. But even knowing all these issues, this rich general manager refused to return the money back. And told me one of the option for me is to fix the battery out of my pocket which costs $16,000 to $30,000. I bought the car for $12,000. Or that can only exchange the vehicle but I have to buy same or more expensive car. I looked it up on their site, and I can't find any car that I can afford or feel safe to drive. I am a disabled US Army veteran. And I don't make enough money. All I wanted was buy a car so I can go to work and make money to support my wife and three babies. I purchased a one year old vehicle from Drivers Mart. Before I even got it home, I already had a check engine light. I was advised that the issue was previously scanned and deleted. In addition, the a/c is already showing problems. I would not trust their mechanics. In addition, since I was out of state, they tacked $500 onto their already $1500 "sellers fees". I was told this was to ensure the paperwork went through properly, since two states were involved. However, after five weeks, the paperwork still hasn't made its way to my state, who will be tacking on late fees. I purchased a 2023 Ford Expedition from Holler DriverSmart under factory powertrain warranty. Within weeks, the vehicle had a major engine and turbo failure. I later found out it had already received significant warranty repairs (turbo, catalytic converter, etc.) just two months before I bought it--none of which was disclosed to me. Despite reaching out multiple times, I've received no resolution or ownership from management. I'm now left with a $600+/month payment on a vehicle that's undrivable and out of warranty coverage due to misrepresentation. I bought a 2015 Jeep Cherokee from Holler in April 2024. The salesperson was fine, and the Jeep itself has been great. I have no problems with the car, but the issues I do have with the dealership have to do with competence and integrity. When I first negotiated the deal, I reached an agreement on the interest rate and term of the loan (48 months). All the paperwork was finished. I just needed to come back the next day to sign everything, which I did. To my surprise, the loan term was increased to 60 months and the interest rate was jacked up nearly two points. If I had only focused on the payment, I may have missed these errors. The finance manager I was dealing with in the morning was different from the guy I dealt with the night before, so I chalked it up as an error. So, this is where things go south: While finalizing the deal, I gave the finance manager a tag from a Jeep Wrangler I sold a few months prior. He took the tag but told me they would be issuing me a new tag. No big deal....so I thought! So, here I am in late December to renew my tag and, by golly, when I enter my tag into the Orange County Tax Collector's website, the tag is not on file. I did this a few times. Next, I found the renewal notice, scanned the UPC code and registered my vehicle. It was at that time that I realized the tag I was renewing was not the tag on my vehicle. Apparently, the dealership put my old tag on the car, but applied for a new registration and tag, but did not put that tag on my car. Essentially, I have been driving from April 2024 to today (January 2, 2025), with a tag not assigned to my car, which I believe is a misdemeanor. How incompetent! It gets better...wait for it. So, on the day before my birthday, I went to the dealer to address the issue. I spoke to the same finance manager who finalized my deal back in April and, after doing some research, he admitted they screwed up. Now, the finance manager could have done the right thing and fixed the problem at that moment in the dealership, but he instead told me to go to the tag office, which meant I had to wait until after January 1st because I couldn't get an appointment before the end of the year. For that reason, I not only had to drive several more days with a tag not assigned to my car, but with an expired tag to boot. Such poor customer service. The clerk at the tag office told me the dealership could have resolved this in the dealership. Maybe this was all just a bad day at the office. I think not! In the future, I'll buy my used cars from CarMax. I have purchased several from CarMax and every transaction was transparent, professional, and competently administered. One more thing: Car dealerships are one of the least trusted professions in the United States. According to a Gallop poll (I believe from 2022), car salesmen are rated just above members of Congress. Took the car and was advised we owe you these items to fix. Advised take the car we will get back in touch, which of course no one reached out. I reached out on the evening of the 5th day. Was given numerous excuses but not real answers. ABS light staying on, drivers mirror outside and inside portion broken would be replaced and AC runs hot for awhile and then cools down. Drove the car back and stated they could have the car back and then everyone wants to help you out. If you tell a customer you owe them these items to be fixed do your job and get them fixed. Car dealerships are a dime a dozen. Holler Chevrolet owns the dealership does he read the horrible reviews or just ignores them. Looks to me like he ignores them. I recently purchased a 2023 Chevy 2500 from the Drivers Mart in Winter Park. In less than 10 days i started have issues with the brakes and had to take it to Chevy for evaluation. Chevy identified I needed all new brakes pads & rotors, power steering pump and an harmonic balancer. I had to get the repairs completed but while waiting for the parts to come it Chevy i reached back out to drivers mart to ask how a full inspection by certified mechanics could have missed these items that were bad in less than 10 days and I have yet to get a response from anyone other than somebody stating i will receive a call. As of today i have spent over $6,600 additional dollars for a 2023 with just over 70k miles for items that should have been caught on their "inspection". Please don't take their word for it, have any vehicle checked out yourself and just know they won't be there to help if anything goes wrong. read more

But *** buyers Beware**** please be sure to check the car thoroughly as a car had no oil, no antifreeze and no windshield fluid in it which I did not know until a few weeks later this is my negligence for not checking it in a timely manner upon purchasing the car. I've been trying to get in contact with the manager Kamal who chose to text me versus emailing me and handling things in a professional manner, he did honor to give me oil change ( I already got one because my schedule didn't allow me to go back in Mon- Fri for them to handle) it's been a goose chase trying to get him to email it to me versus texting me nor was he sympathetic towards my situation. I don't know who's texting ! I would not do business here or recommend the dealership anymore and don't want the oil change now. It's been a bad experience with that, it was a simple fix. I wanted to purchase a used vehicle from the Mazda dealer that I'd seen on auto trader, but when I called them to talk about the deal, they told me it was sent to THIS dealer literally that morning. I called as soon as I heard and got a sales guy who knew of the car and told me it was available right now for purchase. I asked if it was still the same price and he told me it was.. so I told him I was interested and could come out the next day, since it was 2 hours away and getting late. he said ok, and sent me a few links for directions and appraising my trade. I filled out the forms to give them my info and called them the next day to confirm they got everything. however... I realized that on their website, the price had been listed at 4k more than we had discussed. price was still the same on Autotrader. this concerned me and I called the guy to clarify. he told me that he was sorry, but the had raised the price, and that the price on their website was now the price , despite what he told me yesterday. I got a 2014 Honda CRV here. Vernon Johnson was nice. The car was great, except when we first got it the battery did not work, & they had to jump it. They told us that it just needed a new battery. Needless to say, my husband was not at all happy. He had to drive out there on a weekend, after working OT & studying for his state funeral director/embalmer license every spare moment, so he was already annoyed (bc they didn't have a way for us to sign the paperwork electronically-they should work on that, bc a lot of people are housewives or husbands & their partner works-& works OT & out of town, like mine. He works in Jacksonville, & did not feel like driving 5-6 hours down south roundtrip, just to sign some papers, when some places these days let you electronically sign it. Vernon's boss/manager was acting like my husband was being so rude just bc he wasn't talkative & smiling. He was pissed. If he had known about the starter not working, on top of the battery-he would've been furious.) It cost us $14k plus about $3.5k taxes out the door. Then we had to get a new battery the next day, & to my surprise -the starter ALSO did not work. So, I had to pay another $400, plus the battery, which I'm pretty sure was $200 or more. So, $600 work had to be done AFTER we bought it, just in order for it to start up & drive. So, overall, the car cost us over $18k. It's not me at all to leave negative reviews about business establishments or products no matter how bad the experience is, however my family and I had the great misfortune of already buying a car ... driving out the lot (after spending 4-5 hours in their building) BUT right LITERALLY not even five minutes The 2016 Ford Flex' brake light went on so I pulled onto the plaza entrance and parked THEN a big CLUNK ... I tried to reverse the gear shifter and CLUNK, BIGGER CLUNK that scared off my son and Mom ... we immediately got out of the car for fear that it might explode or something. After searching the parking lots for an hour, we found car that we loved at a price we could afford. One sales associate took us over to look at it and we decided to buy. Another sales associate took us on a test drive and we were pleased. Since we were preapproved, things went rather quickly UNTIL sales associate #2 tells us the car we loved, test drove and chose was actually $5000 more than the price on the sticker. They had made a mistake, he said. After the initial disappointment, we understood that they could not take such a huge hit. However, as we had spent 4 hours with them and they had gotten access to so much personal information and my loan was approved, I asked if they could at least match the price on the sticker to another car we liked that was two years older, with less safety features and would increase our interest rate. Overall I had a good experience with Drivers Mart. As someone said, the process of buying/trading in a car is no fun in general so remember that when going. What I liked about this dealership is that they had a wide variety of cars and a big lot. We looked at other dealers in the area and we didn't even go inside because no one kept an inventory or had a neat comfortable show room like Driver's Mart. The other highlight of my experience was my salesman, Gerald. He was helpful in finding what I wanted and made great recommendations, but he wasn't pushy. We test drove three cars together and I enjoyed talking with him and his candor about different vehicles. It's worth noting that this dealer has a 5-day warranty. Take advantage of that. They will tell you upfront that they do little to no work on the cars. You are getting what you get. My suggestion is to do your homework, read the CarFax, and schedule an inspection with your mechanics early in that 5 day window. Overall my vehicle was in good shape but needed about $900 in brake repair. My mechanic urged me to ask for this deducted from the price because the worst they could say is no. They did say no but they offered 15-20% off the service if they did it. I declined as I like my mechanic and felt if he made the discovery he should be rewarded with my business! What made this a less than ideal experience was how long it took them to run the paperwork. In that period of time I had a birthday and my license expired. This meant my paperwork was declined because of the expired license. Had they done this in a timely manner the paperwork wouldn't have had to be resubmitted. Instead I was scolded and urged to come into the dealership to get this taken care of. Overall I got lucky and it was an easy fix but it caused unnecessary work and anxiety. Altogether, if you're in the area and need a car this is a good solution. Stay vigilant in any purchase like this, but know it's possible to have a good experience here. read more

SMH...Went in to buy a new van since we just had twins. Took a look at the 2019 Chrysler pacifica prior and had bought a car from here before so thought what the heck lets buy another one from here. Yeah they said they messed up the paperwork and the car is more then I paid... so bait and switch? THEY SOLD MY INFORMATION AND I DIDN'T EVEN BUY A CAR FROM THEM! All I did was TEST DRIVE a 2016 Nissan Quest and they sold my information to SEVERAL third parties and are now trying to deny it. I only test drove this vehicle at their dealership. The numbers could not be worked out so I did NOT buy it. I called Auto Protect USA, the latest to contact me about a minivan I don't own, and was told they get information one of three ways: 1. Oil change records 2. Tire rotation records 3. The dealership it was purchased from. I didn't buy it, there is only one way they got it since I don't make it a habit of getting oil changes and tire rotations on vehicles I test drive. I called Holler last night for the first time and a Sales manager, who did not take my call had the person I was speaking to relay the message that the third party got my information from the DMV. Ok, but I didn't buy it so 1 - the DMV wouldn't have record and 2 - if they did they wouldn't sell it to a third party. Called again this morning and spoke to someone that said he would get back to me and when I returned his missed call I was sent to finance and to another sales associate that had no authority and when I asked for management, he demanded my phone number first. I literally already gave it to him because he was trying to look up my information. He must have forgotten that part. If you read one review on this place I hope it's this one. DO NOT TEST DRIVE A CAR THERE THEY WILL SELL YOUR INFORMATION AND LIE ABOUT IT. This is the review I posted to google. The car buying experience sucks, period. Our experience in the buying process was no different. The unanswered questions, the "it's just going to be 5 more minutes" that turns into 20+ minutes, etc. all of that is still very much apart of the buying process here. We were in a hurry to get out and so I guess even with that the man that had my fiancé sign his documents didn't explain anything to him, no real explanation of anything he was signing (and he wasn't even moving through the documents at a fast pace.) Honestly, there are only two reasons this dealership is getting four stars. Jenn in the finance department is one of them. She's friendly and kind. She will make you really forget the misery that is buying a car. We had to go back to finish signing some documents, and she made it bearable. If we had her the first time, our experience would have been majorly different. The second reason is the fact that the dealership was kind enough and made the ethical decision to fix the AC on the car that was purchased. All cars here are sold as is. When the car rolled off the lot, the AC was ice cold. The second day in, the AC was nonexistent. The Manager told us to bring it in and they'll see what they could do. The shop and dealer agreed to replace the AC compressor that was weak at no charge and included a year warranty on it. It was only day 3 that we had the vehicle so even though they could have said it was "as is", they fixed a problem that could have cost us a lot of money. They did a free inspection and said that the car was in good shape. We had a second opinion and they agreed. We have a few minor things to replace (less than $100) that we don't mind doing due to the year and mileage.
