I expected a totally different experience, but Anton really blew it out the park for my girlfriend and I on our first lesson, and we will definitely be coming back for more training. He's earned the five stars and I'd recommend anyone to give him a shot. P.S. the environment/area he taught us at was very peaceful and excellent for learning. It's really just you, the road, and Anton as you get your training wheels off.

Anton's a great teacher who's very patient and helpful in guiding you through the learning process. I stalled the car a couple times expecting him to get a little upset since it's his own car, but he simply explained why the car stalled and how to rectify it. He goes deep into the mechanics and theory of how the engine and transmission work in tandem in a standard and it was super insightful. I'll most likely be back to polish up my skills, and I highly recommend people wanting to learn how to drive stick to reach out to Anton!

I got the 5 package lesson. I had some experience prior to taking lessons in this school…read more Let me start from the begining, I found this place by searching on google. Called to ask for more info and the receptionist (sajida) was extremely sweet and helpful, she said I could pass by same day and so, I did. Since I'm in the midst of moving to NJ I needed to start my lessons quickly. On the same day sajida arranged with my instructor Rahim (he is also in charge of everything). Once another young lady took care of me while I was at their office a little earlier before my second lesson and she was super nice too! Rahim is an older man who is very straight to the point and answered all my questions, he lets you drive and explains as you go. Because of his accent it may be hard to understand certain things sometimes, but it's not difficult. I would recommend him as an instructor. He was my instructor for 3 out the 5 lessons. Then came Iman (not sure if that's how his name its spell) he is a young guy, explains things very easily, I took my last 2 lessons with him and we concentrated mostly on parallel parking and broken U-turn. He also explains every mistake and what not to do that will get you an automatic fail. Iman also took me to the road test today and I PASSED! ON MY FIRST TRY. I combined Rahim and Iman's way of teaching and thanks to that I must say I did it. I will bring my husband and mother to take their lessons here very soon!

I wouldn't recommend booking with this company if there's any chance you need to cancel…read more I scheduled with them and approx 5 hours later called to cancel because my son had already set up a drivers test appointment elsewhere. They were pushy and pretty insistent that I keep my appointment because of "high"PayPal fees. This rubbed me the wrong way because none of this is posted on their website. Was also told I needed a supervisor to discuss any refunds. She didn't call. When I called back the second day she was again very off putting and warned me of a heavy PayPal fees for getting refunded but didn't know how much the fees are. Now mind you, I didn't use PayPal at all I used my credit card but was told they use PayPal as a third party. (Cop out excuse) and also somewhat shady because any legitimate business would have their own business bank account which doesn't need a third party. I was charged a $35 refund fee. When I called PayPal to ask about this fee they said they had no record of this payment whatsoever and if they had, fees would be on the merchant and not the consumer. This feels like a company who no matter what will take a cut of any money they can get. I will be disputing the final $35 with my credit card company not because of the money but on principle for this shady deal. SIDENote: had a great experience with Defensive Driving Academy and was a fraction of the price that these scammers charge. UPDATED: the owner of this business did contact me and gave me a the rest of my refund. It was obvious she cared to make this right and assured me that she would be communicating with her staff regarding customer service. I appreciated that and have respect for her making good of this situation. She clearly understands good customer service and wasn't wasting any time to resolve this matter.

I am writing this on the day that I passed my driving test on the first try in Brooklyn, all thanks…read moreto the amazing and patient Erika (and with some help from Gus as well) from Revolution Driving School. TLDR - if you're a nervous or anxious driver, or have had difficulties with other instructors in the past, Erika is absolutely the one you should get started with. My apologies for the novel that's about to follow: To start off with, I am (or was), an incredibly nervous driver. While I had gotten my license by the skin of my teeth back in 2018, I developed a severe phobia after a bad experience on a highway and let my license lapse, not realizing that if your license is expired for more than two years, you can't just renew it - you have to take the whole road test again. When I learned this, I became so nervous that I started having insomnia and couldn't fall asleep - that's how nervous I was thinking about getting back on the road again. After completing my permit, I worked up the courage to book a lesson with Erika. Now, I've had my fair share of bad driving instructors - they often are gruff, not that great at teaching or explaining, and not great at making you feel comfortable or relaxed. Erika is the exact opposite. She is warm and supportive, without being overly so - you never feel like you have to put on a show for Erika. The day of my first lesson I woke up with full body chills and nerves, but I immediately felt at ease with Erika when I was in the car during my first lesson and knew I made the right decision booking lesson with her. Slowly but surely with each lesson with Erika, I got more confident behind the wheel. She positively reinforces when you do something well, and explains patiently where you can improve. She also steadily increases your abilities over time, slowly taking on new things like driving in a different neighborhood or on a busy street, without rushing you into something that can feel difficult. Since parallel parking is my achilles heel, she made sure to spend extra time walking me through this during our lessons. Leading up to my road test I also decided to take a couple extra lessons with Gus, who only just recently became available again for lessons. Gus has a very different demeanor than Erika - more reserved - and so while he may not be the best person to take a first lesson with if you are extremely nervous and anxious like me, I did find my lessons with Gus to be helpful and so the combination of working with both of them made me feel doubly prepared. On the day of my road test, Erika had the perfect demeanor. She made me feel assured, but never put undue pressure on me - she struck the right balance of being supportive without having that become a stressor in and of itself. She answered all my last minute nervous questions ("Can you walk me through again what to do if I think I'm going to hit the curb while parallel parking? What if I'm too wide?"), without ever making me feel bad about it. I was blessed with a clear day and relatively empty roads, but regardless of the good conditions I know I can owe the credit of my passing mostly to the patience and guidance of Erika. She is truly life changing - she changed me from an incredibly nervous driver who would break down into a ball of nerves even thinking about being behind the wheel, to a confident driver who according to my evaluator, did a "perfect" parallel park - something that I would NEVER have thought in a million years I would hear anyone say. All told, I did 13 lessons before my road test - 9 with Erika and 4 with Gus. While it's possible a less nervous driver could have done less (by my 10th lesson everything really started to click), I'm glad I did those extra lessons to make me feel fully prepared. I highly recommend Revolution Driving School, and Erika in particular, to anyone who is nervous or anxious about driving. While of course what happens on road test day is your responsibility, you will feel so prepared working with them. I can never thank them enough for giving me my confidence back!!
