    Quesadilla
    Maria Aimen J.

There was a lot of hype about both of these taco trucks that are right next to each other (the other one has hamburgers). I think that this is the better of the two. The meat is soft l, tender and smokey, and I particularly enjoy the nachos and the quesadilla. I didn't care for the ramen at all because it tasted like the rind of a lime that was in it, and did not have any meat inside of it even though I think it was supposed to. The tacos and the dipping cup that comes with it is good as well, but if I had to choose one I would go with the quesadilla. I also liked the loaded fries but that also is an option right next door so that's why I went with nachos the second time I came and I like those more. The prices are on the higher side, especially considering that it's a food truck, but I guess that's the norm nowadays. I wish the prices were a little lower to make it more convenient to go to but I am happy that there is a fully halal taco truck in the area.

Disappointed in my last trip to this truck. I've been here before and everything has always been good and delicious. On this trip I ordered the nachos ($7.99) and a single taco ($4.50) with shrimp (add on $1.25) which was an up charge. I ordered on the screen but when it came time to pay the lady told me to let her swipe my card.... On the screen my total said $13 and some change. I noticed my account was charged for $18, when I went to ask what the difference was the guy told me the prices on the menu in the front were not correct. Which should not be a thing, because if so charge me what you are showing. I asked for a receipt and they wouldn't give me an itemized one just what I was charged. I don't know if I will ever come back to this location because they did not handle the issue in a professional manner. I know it was only $5, but it's the principle behind having a business and misleading customers. I can find MANY more places that will charge me what I see on the menu!

I order Quesdilla by mistake and they wouldn't correct my order. I'll start back going to the taco truck across the street by the car wash

While ordering on the website I ordered 2 Quesdilla by mistake I was trying to order 2 birra fries. When my son went to pick up the order they told him no refunds or exchanges. This is the exact reason I don't want order these quesadillas the cheese is never melted all the way and by the time I drive 5mins up the street, the quesadilla is soggy. That's $31 that was wasted d

We saw this place on IG and it wasn't far from where we were so we thought we'd give it a try. It was underwhelming sadly. We got the birra tacos with soup. Although the meat was super tender and crispy taco, the flavor was not strong at all. Birra is known for the strong flavors of anise, cinnamon, chipotle and etc but this had none of that. It was more like a bland charro beans broth. We also got elote which was just canned corn - not roasted, which was disappointing. Over all, this food looks cute but lacks flavor.

I was excited to try out this food truck but ultimately I was let down. Although the Birria itself was great I feel like there was something off. Especially with the quesadilla, for the price of it I expected it to be a bit bigger and it had no consume at all. I expected the tortilla to be at least dipped in consume since I did want a Birria quesadilla, also the salsas are not good. My husband said the tacos were good but not something we would come back for. Overall we wouldn't come back sadly.

I had these delivered via UberEats. They weren't the hottest when they got to me but that was expected. I put them in the microwave to warm them and that was okay. I've had better birria tacos. The meat isn't well seasoned so that takes away from the experience. The sauce is cool. They melt a lot of cheese into the taco which I appreciated. They aren't the best but aren't the worst either. A little on the pricey side as well for 3 tacos.

Elote with no sour cream. Really good.

The food was so good and the service was A-1. The guy taking orders, A-AarOn was too funny. This food truck is definitely pushin out good food in a gas station parking lot. Parking is limited since ya know some people actually come here to get gas. It's definitely worth trying.

Love to see it. 1 of 3 halal spots that opened this weekend. This place delivered on the hype. The grand opening was packed and so was the day after. Their #1 was simple and tasty. A lot of beef in each taco. Looking forward to the next time.

QuesaBirra Tacos not a $12 plate. Definitely caught a contact buzz in that check out line.

Well the tacos, not worth the 30 minutes We waited surround by the stench of weed in the gas station parking lot. Elote had a great flavor.

Inside it is a one room eatery with counter service. My first visit was to try the Birria Burrito for $16 with the meal delivered about 10 minutes later. It consisted of their Birria meat cooked for 4 hours mixed with chorizo, cheese, rice, beans and sour cream all wrapped in a large flour tortilla seasoned with their special red colored seasoning. With the meal came a cup of consomne'. Guy Fieri would say, Welcome to Flavortown! It was delicious. The Birria beef was so tender and the flavored flour tortilla with that proprietary red seasoning they use was perfect. It was a very filling meal and well worth the price. So much so, I thought about it the next day. Another visit was to try one of their specialities, the Quesabirria for $14. This meal consisted of 3 grilled and crispy corn tortillas seasoned again with their special red colored magic dust. The tortillas had the delicious Birria meat and cheese inside and I again loved them. The tortillas are only slightly crispy and the meat, cheese and tortillas memorable. This meal also came with a cup of consommé for dipping. Another nice thing about eating here is the customer service. The lady at the counter was very friendly and helpful. The guy bussing the tables acted more like the owner than an employee with his helpfulness and the actual manager came out to check on us. Impressive for a counter service restaurant. Tacos Dona Lena deserves its reputation as one of the best restaurants of its kind. Incredible food and employees all at very reasonable prices. We pulled up to this food truck and, while placing our order, I instantly had the feeling that this crew knew exactly what they were doing. Since it was my first time here, I ended up ordering 1 chorizo and 1 asada taco, churros, limon aguas, and my friend got the asada taco as well and a hortchata! Since it was super busy (especially on saturday night) it was about a 30 minute wait foe our food but it was well worth it! They hand out free chicharrones and they were super crunchy and a nice snack while we waited for our food. The limon aguas was super refreshing especially in the summer heat and the horchata was really good! We sat at the counter top that overlooks the kitchen. I love that the open kitchen concept so you can see them making your food right in front of you! Everything smelled so good so I was excited for my food. I love that they give radishes, cucumbers, and plenty of limes on the side. I definitely love all of the toppings and the more the better! I tried all of the salsas and the salsa de chile de arbol was by far my favorite! super spicy but had so much flavor. The chorizo was good but a little dry for my liking. I did just want to try it so I can try more than one flavor but I think I would get it again as a breakfast taco with egg instead. The asada was my favorite of the two so much flavor and plenty of meat! I was content with these 2 tacos but I could have definitely eaten more if we didn't order churros as well! The churros came with classic condensed milk and dulce de leche which is just carmelized condensed milk. The churros were crunchy and warm on the outside and had a chewy texture like mochi on the inside! Super yummy and not too sweet! I liked both sauces and would definitely get this again. Overall, I had a great experience and I will be craving the tacos until the next time I can come back! I can't wait to try a lot of their other menu items as well. Definitely recommend!
