The Long Version: This Tim Hortons location opened up in early 2025 where the Nu Grocery store used to be. It opened not long after the Westboro location and they both have the same look and feel. This Hintonburg location has more seating but it is still relatively small. There are 4 tables of 2 and a table of 4. I have mixed feelings about having a Tim Hortons in Hintonburg for the same reasons as I do about having a Tim Hortons in Westboro. These are neighbourhoods that used to have mostly unique independently-owned shops, so the moving in of a large multinational changes the landscape. However, I do welcome a quick and relatively inexpensive place to grab a snack or drink. The place is brightly lit and clean. Staff were pleasant. There was a decent selection of baked goods. I got a large Pistachio Latte ($4.99). It's a latte with pistachio syrup, whipped cream and white chocolate curls on top. I got it with oat milk (the other options were 2% milk or almond milk.
