The bar area is a lot noisier than the deck but nice nonetheless. OCI runs lots of specials and always has something different to offer. Additionally they feature Burger nights on Wednesdays where you build your own burger 10.99 and cheese steak nights on Tuesdays where the Philly fav will only cost you 9.99 with fries. Come in on a Monday and treat yourself to veal parm with pasta and salad for 18.99. All in addition to their pretty varied menu. We haven't ever had anything we had to send back. The chef here takes his bar fare serious and aims to please. Servers here are always friendly and attentive and the place always has a good crowd. So if you find yourself in the lovely borough of Hulmeville wander back along the creek and check out OCI

We are so glad we came today, we sat on the outdoor deck for lunch which had a nice breeze and covered the sun! They have horseshoe pits and picnic tables below by the water and you can see a waterfall in the creek from the tables! We both did a build your own burger (I got grilled chicken and made it a wrap) my husband got a normal burger! We added fries and tots and were given a huge portion we took half home! Our server Melissa was friendly and attentive! We will definitely be coming back! And to top it off our server brought us a free leinenkugel glass after ordering a summer shandy!

What impressed me most was how honest and customer-focused Nicole was during the planning. The day before the event, she reviewed my food order and actually told me I had ordered too much because she knew how much their trays would feed. She helped me reduce the order rather than trying to sell me more. That's something you don't see very often, and her recommendation was exactly right--we had plenty of food. And the food was excellent. Great pizza, chicken parm, pasta, and some awesome pierogis that were a great recommendation. And surprisingly, the broccoli may have been the best I've ever had. The servers the night of our event were wonderful--very attentive, friendly, and always available. The staff made everything easy and flexible, which was especially appreciated for a meaningful family gathering. The price was also extremely reasonable for hosting a 30-person event. Cosmos is clearly a great neighborhood spot for lunch, dinner, or drinks, but don't overlook them if you're looking for a place to host a private or family event. Reasonable pricing, honest planning, great food, and genuinely great people. Thank you to Liz, Nicole, and the entire Cosmos team for helping make a very special evening such a success.

If you can get server. The pierogies are very good (didnt get picture). Fried pickles also very good and not traditional chips, they were more long slivers. We had Cowboys candy shrimp for an appetizer which was on the sweet side and still was delicious, like hot honey drizzle. I had the lentil burger with fried pickles. Sloppy and delicious, so be ready to get dirty! My husband had the linguine Pescatora, which had shrimp, mussels, and scallops. He said it was outstanding and he's a chef! It could have used a little fresh lemon, but still delicious! We also had two house beers. This New Jersey couple will be back! Oh, by the way, the place we decorated very nicely and the bathrooms were super clean and had great soap! It smelled wonderful!

For my drink, I got a hugo spritz which is my go to at an Italian place and it was great. They give you a bread basket with oil which always gains points for me. For an appetizer, we shared fried mozzarella which was very good - crispy, cheesy, saucy. For my main I got the Penne Vodka. No notes - it was great and I would definitely get it again but nothing super special! And of course for dessert, I got pistachio gelato which was creamy and delicious!

Friends of ours invited us to dinner at La Stalla on Friday, February 13, 2026. The place was…read morepacked when we arrived for our 6:30 reservation. Clearly an extremely popular spot. We were seated at a round table for six near the front of the restaurant, which gave us a great vantage point to watch the bustling Friday night crowd while still making it easy to talk. The energy in the room added to the experience and set the tone for a fun evening. There were lots of cocktail options from both the regular menu and a Valentine's Day special list. The food menu offered many choices. We started by sharing lamb chops with the guys and I grabbed a taste of the burrata salad from the girl side of the table. The lamb was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The arugula burrata salad had a great blend of fresh flavors. For my entrée, I ordered the rigatoni carbonara: ample portion that afforded me leftovers. Others enjoyed the lobster linguini and tortellini bolognese. Great food, great atmosphere, and a lively crowd. We'll definitely consider coming back again.

Took a chance on the Puss n Boots Tavern this Saturday and stumbled upon a surprisingly quiet, well…read morelit and clean bar. I have always overlooked this place as a dive bar but I was genuinely surprised. As the windows allow natural light to fill the large open dining area that surrounded the bar. They appear to have a catering or events room as well as another separate dining area in addition to the main dining/bar area. While their menu is very limited to all the standard bar fare and spirits. It was served fresh. The smash burger topped with bacon jam tasted like it was fresh off a charcoal grill (in a good way) the buffalo chicken cheesesteak had a good amount of heat and the meat and cheese ratios were on point . The Buffalo bites were equally tasty and I have a strong feeling the blue cheese dip was homemade. They do offer weekly events like bingo, karaoke, quizzo. I think they may have live music events as well. Our server was friendly and kept the libations coming. All in all a big surprise for a place I have overlooked so many times. Pop in grab a drink and check them out.

Last time I was a kid all I remember was a meatball sandwich. That and the sawdust on a shuffle board table. This time, I saw the game is still there along with the bar and kitchen. A second bar area was added on. We walked through to another large dining area addition where we sat at one of many large tables. I ordered the ham and cabbage special and a side of fried pickles, and went back to the original bar for an Irish beverage. Everything was tasty. Thankfully, nobody pinched me for not wearing green. Hopefully it isn't another 40 years before my next visit!

Pub fare at an elevated level. "Sticky Nuggs" full of flavor and made from real chicken chunks. Short rib poutine with layers of flavor and texture and the chicken sandwich cooked just right. We left with leftovers and full bellies and would definitely return and recommend when visiting the casino.

The dinner menu is good; a few tasty appetizer choices (Wild Mushroom Crostini or Salmon with Potato Pancakes), burgers & chicken sandwiches, soups & salads BUT I would not be disappointed if they changed it up a bit. Nice selection of cocktails/ciders/beer. Desserts are delicious; from cheesecakes to tiramisu to ice cream. Our party has tried just about everything on the menu; only complaints? Buns should be toasted, fries should be hotter and not smashed & squeezed into a basket and chicken on sandwiches has at times been too well done. But the kitchen is happy to make it right. The service is great; a pleasant welcome by the hostess and our server Larissa is always attentive and friendly. Such a fun evening! Along with an interesting clientele who seem to all know each other, it possesses a beautiful classic wood shuffleboard along one wall, similarly well appointed bar runners whose friendly manner and fun loving personalities make them entertainers as much as mixologists, as they dance to the jukebox 'zak. Although the kitchen was slammed when I ordered a cheeseburger off their limited menu and I had a bit of a wait until it reached me, it was well worth the delay. Served by the cook himself taking a walk from the grill to clear his head, it was the best half pounder I've had for quite a while. It was a perfect medium finish as requested. With lettuce, fat tomato slice and thin fresh red onion ringlets, the juicy flavor/texture was a masticating joy. Quality brioche roll, too. Crisp fries showed the small details were not taken for granted. But for the fact that smoking is allowed, Murphy's was five star all the way. Have to add the expense of laundering the smell out of my clothes to the otherwise top drawer experience. Maybe, "Beef & Ale" really means it!
