Did as he instructed and BAM, we are back in business. Green Tech could have come out and charged me an hourly, which I was willing to pay for, but instead taught an old man a new skill. From the moment I reached out to Green Tech Plumbing, they were nothing but responsive and helpful. I purchased the filtration system from a vendor, yet Kevin willingly answered all my questions (promptly!) about the system. He even pointed out that one of the options had expensive filters that would need to be changed frequently saving me hundreds of dollars in filters. What a gem! Kevin came out to look at how the system could be installed in our space and talked to me through how the system would work and answered all my questions. He then provided a fair quote. Once our system was delivered, I emailed to set up the installation. His team came out the following week for the installation. The tech Kevin sent was just as helpful! He moved the 100-pound tank from the garage to the basement, which wasn't part of their scope. The tech had to make a run to the hardware store to buy connection pieces that weren't included with system, but he knew exactly what to buy and did so in a timely manner. The install was speedy and flawless. The tech was even willing to stay while I called the vendor's water filtration system customer service expert to walk us through the start up process. On top of this great experience, I wrote a check for the incorrect amount and Kevin responded right away saying he would swing by and drop a check in our mailbox for the overpayment. Unreal! He was honest and forthright about the longevity of my existing unit and I did not feel pressured (which tends to push me away). So I will be upfront: yeah, they're expensive - the sticker shock was definitely real…read more HOWEVER... I felt very well taken care of through the entire process and would like to shout out Danny who was here for over eight hours troubleshooting and solving the issues with my toilet and sink (services I had done include repairing a completely destroyed collar under my toilet, resealing the toilet, installing a new disposal, installing a new faucet and grit trap, and redoing the plumbing joints for both the toilet and the sink.) The price also includes a warranty in case something breaks again, which offers peace of mind, and the company was diligent with working things out with my building to get me scheduled. So at the end of the day, I do think I paid a premium price but I got the quality of service and peace of mind to match, rather than gambling on a cheaper service (again, I keep thinking about how it was an 8 plus hour job and Danny was working the entire time beyond quick breaks to move his vehicle/retrieve tools). It was nearly impossible to get straightforward answers or speak with someone who could actually help. On multiple occasions, I was given an appointment window of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, forcing me to set aside an entire day waiting for a technician. Then, when 5:00 PM finally came around, I would receive a text saying that all of their technicians were busy and that they wouldn't be making it after all. Expecting customers to waste an entire day waiting, only to cancel at the last minute, is completely unacceptable. If your schedule is full, be honest upfront instead of repeatedly giving appointment windows you can't keep. I understand that unexpected delays happen, but this happened more than once. Good customer service is about communication and respecting your customers' time, and unfortunately this company failed on both counts. I won't be using them again and can't recommend them based on my experience.

The first time the technician (Steve) came out, he wasn't able to do anything due to my building's roof drain being clogged and the roof was basically flooded. He sent me a video so I was able to send it to our maintenance people and have them come fix that issue. After the roof was no longer a swimming pool, Steve came back out a week later and presumably did everything that was needed -- all seems to be working well, and he answered a couple of my questions and gave me an estimate for an ambient kit in case I want to run the unit when it's below 60 degrees outside (my condo gets really hot and retains heat). Overall, great customer service, super nice people. I'll continue to use them for my AC needs.

Okay, it does not make me happy to leave this review…read more First, at the initial visit Anthony told me the water overflowing all over the floor was because a little piece was off the back of the toilet. But the water was turned off and learned later that day it was a sewer problem! When I said I needed a new toilet he saw the paid receipt and went to leave in his truck! We NEVER DISCUSSED the new toilet; i.e., brand, model! He told me one brand was Kohler and I said "fine." Later I realized he hadn't given me a model and had to call to get it! Clayton arrives and installs the new toilet and, of course, removes the old. He also puts caulking around it. Being hypervigilant after the floor floiding four times from the sewer I ask if thin caulking is ok. I only wanted reassurance. They say they don't do phone calls and have to send someone out. Clayton is three hours late and I am not given any estimate! He decides to remove the caulk which was fine and adds too much because it is "bleeding". I did wait 36 hours to use the toilet after he said to wait 24 hours. Is this what over $1,000 in labor gets?

The heat had stopped working days before. It's 38 degrees room temperature. The city had shut the water off to stop the flood inside my house. The heater runs on water so I can't fix the heater until a plumber turns on the water and finds the leaks. I call Glenbrook Plumbing in an emergency. BIG MISTAKE. Mike and Tony come out, look around, see the water everywhere, feel the cold room temperature and decide they don't want to do this job. They told me they can't turn on the water and find the leaky pipes until the heat gets turned on. I told them the furnace runs on water, they told me to ask to use a neighbor's hose to fill the furnace with water, and then they left after 15 minutes and charged me $132 for the visit. The next day I found a plumber who came out the next morning and fixed the plumbing problem and turned on the water all without the heat on. One guy. These people didn't want to help me because the conditions were not comfortable. They just left me there in an emergency and I never heard from them again. These are terrible people.
