I tried to bite a piece in half and it wouldn't pull apart, so the whole piece went in my mouth and I had to use my fingers to pull it apart which was embarrassing on a first date! It didn't taste good either. I looked for a knife in the plastic silverware, but there was none. I then went for a bite of the rice and it was so stuck together that I really had to jam my fork into it. It had no flavor at all and I was not offered any kind of sauce for it. I got some salt, but it didn't help. It had obviously been in a cup and turned over on a plate (there was no bowl) so I don't see why they couldn't have substituted the fried rice. The carrots were rubbery too. The only thing half way good was the broccoli. I opted for water to drink because I couldn't see paying over $6 for flavored ice tea. I didn't want my date to feel bad for buying me such a horrible meal, so I managed to get a couple of bites down. He asked if I wanted a box. No, but I said yes, again not wanting him to feel bad. I tried the Orange Chicken again when I got home, using my paring knife, and it was still so bad that I threw the whole thing away. There were only 6-8 people in the place, but it was so noisy that I had to keep asking my date to repeat what he said because I couldn't hear him. Now the 4th order came out suppose to be acai protein and it has peanut butter in it .my son-in-law sip on it that's when he found out it was not what he ordered . I'm glad he only drank a little and didnt flare up his allergy .we complained and they realized they made a mistake because the right smoothie was in the receipt so they made us a new one. When we came back home I immediately gave my son-in-law Benadryl so the allergy do not flare up. I am calling the attention of the manager to please advise the seller to be careful on preparing the food because people can die from peanut allergy.
