Gorgeous property. Things you will feel when you get there - you will feel safe! We felt so safe, maybe a false sense but either way it was a thing. You'll feel a sense of calm. Such a relaxing property. The staff is sooo helpful. Even the guy in the gym. He became my best friend. The food is good and you have plenty of options. Everything is easily accessible and it was a true joy to be there. Definitely recommend

Beautiful/clean resort. Luckily it wasn't a full week trip or I would've starved. Got extremely sick from either food or ice but I was very careful with limited ice and only bottled water. The food was not edible, would take a few bites and be done EVERY MEAL. The staff on the resort was excellent except the hotel lobby/reception. They were asking us to AI change our age on our identification to over 30 to get some free perks but we didn't like the deceitfulness as we were looking to book for our upcoming destination wedding. We asked multiple times if we could speak with wedding/event coordinators and they were too busy to come and speak to us our entire trip. I will not be back.

Preferred beach cabanas with ocean front view of some bushes

If you're looking to lose weight on vacation, this is the resort for you. Note their approach is a bit unconventional. Between questionable hygiene and inedible food, I lost about 15 lbs after contracting sapovirus on day one, with relentless vomiting, watery diarrhea, and food so bad I ate exactly one meal over the remaining four days. My wife lost 5 lbs simply because the food was that repulsive. I later ended up in the ER with severe dehydration and ongoing diarrhea, where I was diagnosed with sapovirus. I had seen Yelp reviews warning about the food and dismissed them as typical Yelp negativity. Huuuge mistake. This is hands down the worst food I have ever had at a hotel. I am a Lifetime Globalist and have stayed at a lot of Hyatt properties. Nothing comes close. Imagine the worst buffet you have ever experienced. Now lower your expectations even further. We hoped to find some refuge at the Dolce sweets shop, but they screwed even this up by serving the cheapest, sugar free tasting ice cream I've ever had. We eventually gave up and survived on Doritos from the pharmacy. While I was stuck in the room recovering, we received a steady stream of phone calls repeating the same liability polished script while offering zero help. I did not report the illness looking for compensation. I wanted to make sure no one else got sick. I was told they had only one other report, so there was nothing to worry about. Cool! Beyond that, there was a parade of smaller failures. Five staff members barged into our room despite the Do Not Disturb sign. The balcony "hot tub" was really just a cold bathtub. The preferred beach cabanas had a primary view of bushes. At some point my wife and I stopped being angry and just started laughing. The lone bright spot was a genuinely great burger at the New Year's Eve event. If only that level of care extended anywhere else. I rarely raise issues during a stay, but given the illness and everything else, I did this time. I was repeatedly told a manager wanted to speak with us. I declined, figuring if there was something meaningful to address, they could reach out protectively. On our last night, they finally did. I answered the phone and was greeted with, "What do you need from me?" That summed up the trip. Leadership sets the tone, and here the tone is indifference toward food, hygiene, and the guest experience. Worst vacation ever, although I do have a huge head start on my 2026 weight loss goals.

Went in 2021, honestly 2,000 a night isn't bad. Listen right, mangoes and tahin sourced from mehico is fire, essentially when the random Mexican people serve it to you on the small carts they call "carretas" The room is large, large is large if you wanted know. This room is 22 meters by 24 meters if you get 2 bed and free ammeter, amenities, including the following (m and ms, Mexican Coca Cola, sprite, etc). The room views consists of trees, trails, and people who are baked. They have great hot tubs, great cabanas. You know they have really good hibachi, for a Mexican country 4 star hibachi restraunt, it's fire. There's so many other things i can mension but I'm getting to the point where I can't feel my fingers. Have a good day.

I'll set it straight. Dreams Playa Mujeres is a legit family resort. Absolutely beautiful and well maintained. They have so many activities and restaurant choices that can keep you busy for the week. The Dreams staff is what truly makes it. I'm gonna shout out some key staff members we met. From the cleaning service (Josephina) to the pool bar tenders and pool staff (Miguel and Gambino) super fast service and kept the drinks coming. The Entertainment Staff is so amazing. High energy and games throughout the day. Go (Jackie, Angel and others). We thought the food was good. Keep in mind at a resort they are feeding for the masses. So many choices at and options. They will often deviate to accommodate you. Just ask! Our favorite was the French Restaurant and Gouchos Brazilian Restaurant. The World Cafe in our opinion is best at breakfast. Loved loved the made to order omelets. Don't hesitate booking here. You get what you pay for. Pointers: Pay extra for private convenience to and from Cancun Airport through Ammstar. New full size SUV with no stops. Bring $5 and $1 bills. Tip well. The staff deserves it and it goes a long way for them. We brought $200 just for tipping for the week. That's nothing. Men, bring a pair of pants for evening dinners. You won't get in. They will seat you outside. You also have access to Secrets next door. 18 and up adult only if you want a quiet afternoon. My only wish was I like my beers to iced cold. Here they are fridge cooled and not the coldest. So... I fill my sink with ice and put a 12 pack in there. I'm a beer jerk I know. That's it. Book Dreams and enjoy!!!

We were invited to Dreams Playa Mujeres Resort for a wedding celebration for friends! They are located in Cancun Mexico. Super excited to spend some time at this fairly new property. This is a private luxury property all inclusive resort. Upon arrival you go thru two security gates. We felt very safe at thus resort, armed security walked the beach our entire stay. They keep your passports until you leave the property for security reasons (day pass). Food: Our wedding meal actually was amazing, we were actually surprised. I really enjoyed the wedding cake the most, so creamy, light and yummy! Bar services: The mixed drinks were watered-down, we tried multiple drinks. Decided to just go with tequila shots instead. Customer Service: We were quickly escorted to guest services upon our arrival. So we could purchase our one day pass, since we were staying another Cancun resort approximately 20 minutes south of this resort. It rained the afternoon of the wedding, and neither the hotel staff nor the wedding planners had a plan for inclement weather. Staff: All the staff that we came in contact with from the front desk, bartenders, were all very friendly and professional. Beach & pools: Beautiful is the only word that comes to mind! Its a Hyatt Luxury property, just what I expected! The grounds- gardens are well manicured, the workers are amazing. TIPS: If you are invited to a wedding, make sure they have the package that pays for your arrival. If not they charge $100 USD per person. Jus another rip off in Cancun. Also be advised that the wedding planners are a separate vendor, not affiliated with the hotel staff. So I'd strongly recommend that if you decide to have a Cancun wedding, make sure there is a inclement weather plan. If you wanna be in the mix, better transportation (public buses) cheaper cab rides, this is not gonna be your spot. They are approx 1hr from airport and main attractions. Would I visit or stay at this resort? Keeping it real, If I get another invite of course. Would I book on my own, probably not. I travel way too much thru out the year to spend approx $1000 per day on a resort. If this is your only vacay for the yr, yes its a good option for your family. Everything you need is located in one compound. If your looking for a 18 hole golf course, this is your place. The beaches are actually prettier closer to the main strip (sea blue tranquil) white powdery sand. ~Dani @glampedlife

The grounds of the entire resort were clean and very well kept! Honestly, the resort was exactly like pictured online, there wasn't any catfishing. We went for a wedding and I felt like everything turned out beautifully and it appeared to be customizable to the couple. The drinks were lacking (which I find to be the case with all resorts) but the food was impeccable! Probably the best food I've ever had on an all inclusive resort. The beach had tons of space but had a tad bit of seaweed but once you go a foot out from the shore it was fine. There were a number of pools so it never felt crowded. We went Labor Day weekend and it wasn't crowded at all, very nice chill vibe. Bring bug spray for the mosquitos!

Place is amazing. We are part of the UVC and love it. Have been there two times and will return.

My family and I had an amazing time! Our friends got married here, the ceremony and reception was amazing! The food was great and the views even better!!! Since we attended the wedding child free, we brought our nanny along (aka grandma for hire lol). My parents, my sister and brother in law came with us and they also had an amazing time!! Must try places: Tres colores - amazing food (sope de pulpo, flautas, chicken mole negro) drinks , ask for one of the best waiters: Manuel. Nice place to dress up for. World cafe - best for family meals, breakfast and lunch buffets. Made to order smoothies, omelettes, lunch. Tides- great finger food and kid friendly! Try the wings !! The best waiters here too!! Dolce- right next to Tides, AC ice cream shop!!! So delicious. Open late!! The beach is literally a walk away , the spa is a must ( I recommend Sandra and Amalia)!! I absolutely loved this resort!! The customer service was amazing, the waiters, the bellmen they all recognized us after 1-2 days there lol. Tips: bring cash for tips ($5-$70 is what we tipped) we always tipped. If you don't plan on tipping because you think it's included in the price, it's not. Don't be cheap. We saw people tip $1 or leave no tip but there the same person asking for a million things and extras. Bring sunscreen , roll on etc Bring bug spray, bug repellent stickers and cream It was so humid so also a hat of some sort Swimming suit (at least 2-3)

Rusted and worn water park.

It has been 3 years since we have been in this specific AM resort. We are UVC members and the resort is in dire need of a "spiff". The entire resort looks rundown. We did enjoy the staff show. The food at the Mariscos restaurant had some good options. The Brazilian and the Hibachi were enjoyable. The sheets were like cardboard that you can see thru. The staff on the other hand were very attentive to our granddaughters needs and wants. I will not return. The price paid is not worth the rundown sheets pillows or towels. Everything was a very "used" appearance. It is as though the company has chosen not to replenish the products that are used daily by the guests. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Reporting the AC doesn't work , the very first day of our stay.

Bed bugs!!! If that isn't enough of a warning, we had no A/C two nights of our 4 night stay. The room smelled of mildew, and the bathroom smelled of sewage. The food was inedible, and we were confined to the room due to "stomach" issues after attempting to eat it. However, if you need to lose weight, this is the resort for you. I lost 8 pounds in 4 days.

Wedding/Vacation Collectively as a group we spent over $200k. I think I can leave a honest clear review with photos that would be deciding factors of your future trip here. 1. The golf cart guys, and front lobby people are amazing. They would give us information about the city and resort. Remembering names and families. Made us feel warmed and welcomed. 2. Smoking policy is STRICT, kinda beyond what makes sense. Why would you all sell us a $600 cigar rolling table with matches and then tell us we can smoke outside the party, THEN tell every that did move outside to smoke they can't smoke. That's very inconsiderate and why would we spend 600 for a cigar roller when we can smoke them. Literally a joke. 3. This place is UNSAFE. We had 3 guest slip and fall because of wet floors. One guest went to get assessed and they were trying to charge him to even look at it. WARNING most of the floors are wet from condensation in public and private places. I was afraid to have my father walk home on his own due to this. UNSAFE conditions. 4. My guest had their bathroom ceiling fall in, along with multiple mold issues. 5 rooms had to be reassigned due to mold and water damage. So over 10 people had to be moved due to water or mold issues. 5. Communication- My guest of honors gets to the resort. She is 98 years old and needs a handicap room. The reservation includes handicap on actual paperwork. She had to wait until 6pm to get a room. That is ridiculous. 6. Food- it's a no for me but had a few places that we enjoyed. But from the soft over cooked shrimp to the pizza with no sauce. It's not worth the resort fee they charged my guest to be on the resort. 7. Prices change all the time here. They literally will change before your eyes. We were charged various different prices pending on the day. They kept reinstating their policies but never stated these things before. 8. I would not invite a big crowd here. I would be firm on the price I pay because it's not worth it to me. The place is old, shabby, they don't serve food all day. They don't serve drinks all day. Overall not really a vacation, more like a facility stay. The most fun I had came from the people who showed up for us at this wedding. It was a beautiful wedding. But seems like they do so many that they do it day by day. So a few unorganized points that caused frustration. Paloma was Awesome Leo was Awesome Martin was Awesome Alex was Awesome. But understand this hotel will scrape you for every dollar. Literally saw the. Leave my grandfather because they were focusing on a balance that "wasn't unpaid". Would I come back? Absolutely not, and I would suggest you come unless you've never been on a resort before. Otherwise you will be dissatisfied. This is NOT a 5 Star Hotel. UPDATE: Spoke to operations manager Jessica Jimenez. I had to force the front desk lady for me to speak to her. Her frustration gave Jessica the wrong impression and she barely wanted to listen to me. Gave her room numbers told me I don't have to repeat it. At the end she said there was nothing to do about it. Another update is she works between both of the scamming hotels. I've had guest irate in the lobby due to the horrible service. This is just terrible. Secrets and Dreams. This post will suffice for both.

We set our expectations high for this place considering all the reviews/ratings on Trip Advisor,…read moreGoogle, Facebook, and Yelp. Adults only, couples only, all-inclusive resort - that's a big yes! We hadn't been to a resort in a long time and were very stoked for our visit in August 2025. As is the standard for the Excellence brand of resorts - the staff greeted us warmly and professionally. Instantly, our needs were taken care of - the room wasn't ready, but we were provided with an opportunity to change and immediately take advantage of our stay. The size of the resort initially threw us off - it is much smaller than your typical resort, but it also caters to a smaller crowd for (their words) "a boutique experience." It seemed dead until we got close to the beach area and the swim-up bar. This is where the people hang out. Dinner at El Mar our first night was amazing - excellent seafood (check out the pics) and service. We ate twice each at Lupita Steakhouse and La Isla. Unfortunately, the hotel kept changing the schedule of which restaurant would be open what night. This threw off our dinner plans more than once, and we spent more time at La Isla (with the least exciting menu) getting eaten by mosquitoes than we cared for. During our stay, the beach snacks menu also changed. It went from a delicious two-page menu to a sad one-pager; gross nachos and hot dogs, anyone? Online, people went on full-on rants about this. It turns out the menus across all the Excellence resorts are being stream-lined to the new executive chef's "vision." Some people, from what I read online, are now considering cancelling their reservations, not wanting to fly all the way here for waffles and burgers. On top of the rebranding, the hotel is also undergoing renovations to bring it up to modern times. We thought our room was beautiful, but it was a tad outdated. For customer service, though - the Excellence brand will not settle for less than, well, excellence. All of our interactions with staff at all levels was top-notch. Because of the vibe here - we didn't talk to anyone but hotel staff for four whole days. Staff shout-outs: Denise, Luis, Fernando and Fabiola at the beach; Octavio and Bernice at the spa; Andrea, Aina, and Alexander at guest services; Pasquale, Alex, and Elvis at pool side; Cirilo and Vanya at El Mar, Brenda at La Isla, and Alberto and Barbra at Lupita. Fantastic job, everyone! Vibe: 5/5. Food: 3/5. Room: 4/5. Customer service: 10/10!!!!!

The morning breakfast buffet at Le Bisou has an array of fresh fruits, pastries, and sushi. The morning breakfast buffet at Isla Trattoria offers more traditional Mexican dishes. The ribeye at Lupita Steakhouse is a must try. The Tequila Experience is a steal at $50, which includes Casa Dragones and Clase Azul. The cabana rentals are only $60 for the entire day and come with a coconut drink, mimosa bar, and fresh fruits. We will be back!!!

To be honest, we can't imagine spending New Year's Eve anywhere else. Both times have been absolutely fantastic; the team didn't skip a beat. The resort is stunning and impeccably maintained, but what truly makes this place a gem is its incredible team and vibrant atmosphere. Entertainment The entertainment is top-notch, with a variety of high-energy performances each night. We were absolutely blown away by the Freddie Mercury tribute act. The resemblance was uncanny, and his energy was simply amazing--he had the whole place rocking! It's shows like that that make the evenings so memorable. The Heart of the Resort: The Staff As wonderful as the resort itself is, the staff are the real reason we started planning our next trip back before we even left. They made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived and are the key to the entire experience. We spent most of our days at the Excellence Club pool, and our waiter, Floricel, was a true standout. He was wildly attentive and responsive, ensuring our glasses were never empty. He didn't just take orders; he helped us discover the most incredible new drinks and his fun, engaging personality truly made our days by the pool so much more enjoyable. Our concierges, Edgar and David, were unbelievably helpful. From the moment we arrived, they helped us navigate our time at the resort, making reservations and ensuring every detail was handled. Having a dedicated concierge team like them is so important; they remove all the stress of planning and make you feel completely prioritized and cared for throughout your entire stay. We truly felt like their only guests. We also have to give a shout-out to Cesar at the lobby bar. We were so impressed that he recognized us from our previous trip, and of course, we remembered him! He is exceptionally attentive, and man, that guy is fast. He's a true professional. Last but certainly not least, a special mention goes to the man running the pizza oven at the main pool. He deserves a Nobel Peace Prize for his craft. He was just killing it all day, every day, serving up perfect pizzas with a smile. It's this level of service and genuine warmth from the staff that makes Excellence Playa Mujeres feel like a home away from home. We came back home so refreshed and can't wait to return.

Excellence Club: The upgrade gives you perks that, in my opinion, are worth the splurge. You get a private beach area, a private pool, exclusive access to the Magna restaurant, and a lounge bar. In your room, they add fresh flowers, sparkling wine, and an upgraded mini bar. You also get a different room service menu and a hydrotherapy session per person. Staff: Absolutely every staff member gave us phenomenal service. Many returning guests said the staff is why they came back. Some other resorts are more technologically advanced, but Excellence is top tier for its service. Someone is always checking in, and anything you need is taken care of right away. Pools/Beach: There are several pools, including a main pool with a swim-up bar. I called this the party area because it has music and afternoon activities/games. My favorite spot to lounge was near the "lazy river" across from the ping pong and billiards. This area is quieter, and they also have some day beds available. People get up EARLY to save the day beds and the lounge chairs. One morning, I headed down just before 8 AM, and there were only two day beds left. People leave towels, bags, or books to save space. The resort does not allow this, but it's difficult to enforce because you can't tell if someone is away swimming or grabbing a snack somewhere. Be a nice human, and don't save a space for three hours while you're up in your room sleeping. The beach also has a lot of lounge chairs and day beds. I've visited the beach in the morning and in the afternoon around 1 PM and was able to snag a lounge chair. Both pool and beach areas are very well attended! There is someone going around every 10 - 20 minutes checking in on you to see if you need water, drinks, or food. Restaurants/Food: It is impossible to absolutely kill all food categories at a resort. I'm going to be honest, the American food was not it. I wasn't a fan of cheeseburgers, wings, or pizza. However, there were some restaurants and food items that stood out to me. For breakfast, you can't go wrong with the Kitchen Table. It's a brunch buffet, and my go-to was the made-to-order omelets, chilaquiles, and French toast. The freshly squeezed orange juice was amazing, AND be sure to order a cappuccino instead of their regular coffee. For lunch, I highly recommend the fish tacos at Lobster House or the agua chiles and the crunchy salmon tacos from Olas. You get a great view of the beach while you eat, and it's a great vibe. One of our favorite dinners was the interactive dining at Spice. This does require a reservation, and I recommend making this reservation when you check in. It's a teppanyaki-style dinner, and you're in a separate room with 10 people total. It's very intimate, and all the courses were delicious. Our favorite post-dinner hangout was at the Sports Bar. They have a small pool table and will likely have a game that you're looking to catch while you enjoy a beer or cocktail. Aroma was our go-to for our morning coffee and our nightly ice cream scoop before heading to our room. Their iced hazelnut coffee was excellent, and I loved their lemon sorbet. You also cannot go wrong with the 24/7 room service. Experiences/Show: Download the Excellence Collection app. You'll use it every day for entertainment schedules and restaurant menus and dress codes. There are daily fitness offerings like yoga, pickleball, volleyball, or Zumba and activities like Sip Wine & Paint and Cantarito painting on the beach. Some events have limited spots, so arrive early. Every Thursday is the Mexican Fiesta with mariachi and a huge buffet (and a ton of margaritas), so it's a great time. Shows we loved were the Burlesque, Elegance Circo, and the Magic Show. Seasons Transfer: If you stay 7 days, you get a free airport pick-up and drop-off. Seasons provided great instructions, and finding our driver was easy. The vehicle was comfortable with room for six. Our return trip felt hectic because of an accident that caused major traffic. We still made the flight, but I recommend requesting an earlier pick-up time just in case. Junior Suite: I still think about this bed. I took a picture of the mattress brand because I want one at home. The pillows were perfect, and they gave us four. The couch wasn't comfortable, and the TV options were limited. I wish there was a Netflix login option. I'm hoping this is part of the hotel renovation. There's a tub near the window we didn't use, but it was a nice option. The ocean-view balcony was 10/10. The bathroom has a glass door, so not super private, but the shower was huge with a rainfall head. Closet space was great, and the robes and slippers got daily use. Overall, I was very happy with our stay. It's worth the money, and I felt like I was in an episode of White Lotus when they greeted us with champagne.

Also, Maria Dolores wasn't great. It was actually a 5/10. The other restaurants on property have way better food. After this experience, I will NEVER return.

Creating seating at the various restaurants for our 3-generation, 15-member family group was, at…read morefirst, a challenge for restaurant staff, but they rose well to the occasion & made it work after the first few days, especially with he supervision of Nancy in the Market Restaurant & Munther Shawa, Head of Food & Beverage for the hotel; they were of tremendous help. I loved nearly everything about the hotel: the bathrobes which I wore every morning to & from the main pool for my 6 AM, 40-lap swim, the large walk-in shower (put a towel on the floor in there as it can be slippery), a large tube of tooth paste was a surprising addition to the bathroom toiletries, plus excellent body lotion (also a rarity) & shower gel. The variety of light switches & sensors throughout the room made for a bit of a challenge when it came to turning off lights as needed/wanted. Housekeeping staff was great with room cleaning & evening turn-down service (little chocolates included!), the enjoy-all-you-want-liquor shelf & the generous drinks/snacks in the mini-fridge, plus multiple comfy chairs & couches both in the room & on the balcony. Our jacuzzi were not the most powerful but the jacuzzi in one of our 3 sons' rooms was the perfect rainy-afternoon distraction for their 4 young kids. And what's not to love when there are full length picture windows on 2 sides of the jacuzzi so you can see out to the sky & your porch? Staff everywhere was friendly, most know a good enough amount of English, Alberto @ Guest Services was as helpful as can be, the gym is the most impressive one I have ever seen & 2 of our kids did full blown workouts every morning (super large, very well outfitted, clean, great lighting), the grounds are meticulously cared for, including such details as broom-cleaning the ceilings of the breezeways. The main pool gets same attention to detail with the hand-cleaning of its sides several times a day (thank you to Trainee, Carlos, for making chaise loungers available to our large crew every day). The pools next to the kids' club are a huge draw for kids (& adults!) of all ages (no drinks allowed to be brought there) with the "blob" being SO fun to jump up & down on, the multiple water slides, sprayers, nearby chaise lounges & lifeguard. I loved the Sweet Corner, where we enjoyed lattes, frappes, milkshakes, cinnamon rolls, muffins, ice cream & more with staff bringing in fresh inventory several times /day. Us grandparents enjoyed our morning coffees post-swim before the sons, daughters-in-law & all their kids woke up, did their workouts & then gathered for breakfast. Higher end alcohol is offered at the many, many (& I mean many) bars, which was a nice perk (Wences at the Aqua Bar puts together some great drinks), there are several soft ice cream dispensers, plus a great juice bar, several laps pools offering quieter spots for sunning, an adults-only pool & bar, the beach is fully tractor-cleaned every morning, there are tons of palapas on the beach, and the beachside Dunas Restaurant offers good options although the wait time can be long for a table & then your food. We ended our days watching the 8 PM live theater shows with such themes as Michael Jackson, Mario Brothers, Afro-Caribbean performers & acrobatics which our 7 grandchildren (from age 7 months to 8 years) all loved & ended at the perfect time for ALL of us to be ready to sleep after long, active days. Let me finish by saying that the food service & choices are a show stopper; the diversity of food, especially at breakfast (think: dinner for breakfast!) was both colorful, varied, healthy, fresh, filling & I cannot imagine someone not finding much to enjoy. I look back at my photos now & realize that there were food items I wish that I had chosen, even though I loved nearly everything I ate. I would gladly return to this hotel.

Once you stay here, you have options to rent bicycles (complimentary) and golf carts from here. I highly recommend getting one of the golf carts from here, as they book out fast. Otherwise, you will have to go downtown to rent them for an hourly rate or daily fee. The hotel has a relationship with Kin Ha beachfront restaurant, which is below the hotel. It is not connected, so you must travel down the stairs and cross the side road to enter the Kin Ha beachfront restaurant for complimentary breakfast (any entree with one simple coffee or juice). You can also lay out at their beach club, which has complimentary kayaking, snorkeling, and paddleboarding (tipping recommended). The rooms are grand and colorful. The pool and ocean views are amazing. There are 13 rooms in this boutique hotel. I was advised that the best rooms here are Grace, Love, and Serenity. You must notify the front desk if you want your room cleaned. Otherwise, you can request items/amenities (even a beach towel) from the front desk. Some other things to note here are the laundry room and jewelry/hat store. The options are a bit limited compared to downtown. Why Casa de los Sueños? This isn't just a place to sleep--it's an integral part of the island (Isla Mujeres) experience. There is someone always to greet you in the lobby. I felt safe throughout my stay here.

There is a small patio between the room and the plunge pool. They provide you with a hammock for that area. It is also lit for nighttime use. The water was clean. It was a large room. It had large shower that has a full length window to a garden area. No one can see you, just in case you were wondering. Service - even before we arrived. I contacted the hotel through whats App. I needed help with the booking. Alex was wonderful and helped me every step of the way. He went beyond his job description to help me. He even helped me set up a romantic gesture for our anniversary. He helped with transportation. He even checked on us when we had not arrived to the hotel yet. Luigi helped check us in. Always asked how our day was going and gave us suggestions on where to eat. The grounds are monitored by a security guard at night. So we felt safe enough to hang out at the beach at night. Second visit and another GREAT vacation! We have been fortunate to travel to some amazing…read moredestinations and this place is special. It's fairly new and a lot to love here. But we read a lot of reviews at Yelp, trip advisor, ect, and the reviews are mostly glowing and no mention of anything that could be better. I wholeheartedly recommend this resort, but there were a few things that could have been better. But thus was overall the best AI and we will return. Shootout to an exceptional employee Jhordy at inspira pool who went way above and hope to see next time. Our butlers, Ping Ting and Aline were fabulous.. and will request them next time. They made everything run smoother and got us ALL the reservations at the times we wanted. Def would have not happened w/o a butler. Not intrusive at all. appreciated fuss made for our 27th anniversary . A lot sets this apart from other all inclusives. I feel the food and the cocktails are better and more selecting. We often are celebrating either a birthday or anniversary on vacation, and they always ask at resorts. But then nothing is ever done or said to honor it, which is disappointing. That was not the case here. It seemed every server congratulated us on what we are celebrating. made us feel very special, plus I assume the butlers sent roses and champagne with a big chocolate heart to our room. very much appreciated. It might seem childish, but these dates mean something to me, and I appreciate when they are acknowledged. This is a fairly new resort, and everything seems very clean and well kept. The staff was warm, welcoming, friendly, and helpful. If they were understaffed or having a bad day, they sure hid it. Love the way the common areas and bathrooms smell ... omg you will see. I love the fragrance of the molten brown amenities ..going to buy some. Our inspira swim out room was large, quiet, and luxurious. Well-appointed and lovely. The tub was amazing, but they don't have shampoo and conditioner in that area, and the areas they do have amenities it's locked in, so you can't move it. Is inspira worth the extra? We did it both times. Would not risk being upgraded to an inspire Without the cost. Inspira gives you more access, and I believe a bump in service. If you are fortunate enough to afford it then get it ... if not then don't. In the reviews, I didn't run across many with even minor complaints that they could improve, but there are always things that could be better. I'm gonna put those in the tip area ,so if they want to improve a bit on an already great resort. I love it here and the staff are the truly the best. What signs they have are easy Missed And they don't have a lot of signs directing you especially to area that used to be for families. Personally, I think they wanted to make it harder for the family.People to come over to the all adult area back when it was two different resorts. Now that it. 's all adult I really think they should figure out a way to make it easier to navigate. We didn't know that there was a restaurant that had Buffet for all three meals Until halfway through our second Visit. Well i'm gonna leave some tips In the tip area. Because I don't want this to seem like I had a bad trip. This was incredibly relaxing and luxurious and wonderful. Exceptional staff make all the difference. Mixologists at Calle bar are so fun to watch them create liquid art. No one ignored us and no bad attitudes. I would say one of ... possibly the best all inclusive we have tried in all our travels. Sorry sandals, excellence, secrets, Iberostar u have been out done. employees went above the call bring lots of tip money.

Five star all-inclusive and adults only resort!…read more Newly opened resort about 40 mins from Cancun airport and 20 minutes further from hotel zone. Our reservations was for (7) days and the length of time felt right. We booked two excursions; (i) visit Chichen Itza on a tour; and (ii) visit Playa Mujeres on a catamaran. Chicen Itza is a "must do" if you visit Cancun for the first-time (no question). Following our two excursions it was back to the resort to relax, eat and sleep! The resort has (7) eateries from avant garde, to breakfast buffet, steakhouse, italian, american, asian and pastry cafe. The exquisite culinary cuisines at each restaurant was phenomenal but the steakhouse, asian and buffet ranked highest for me. The bars on property were sexy and classy from the rooftop ocean views, lobby and swim up bars with the staff making our experience special. By far, the sky bar and lobby bar were the spots for me each day serving "top shelf drinks". There is also no need to leave your room if you're hungry, room service was impeccable by bringing your meals in a warm service cart with all the condiments and proper silverware. I highly recommend the New York Strip! There is no denying feeling compelled to stay on property to maximize an all-inclusive, but this is one property I'd have no issues being stranded at. Service is first-class, staff is highly attentive and respectful of your privacy and the resort is highly luxurious. If the opportunity to splurge on a room permits, I'd recommend the swim up pool on the ground floor(s) to enjoy swimming under the stars at night with that someone special, you'll forever remember those moments.

In past stays on the island, we rented a golf cart and due to the location of this property, did not need to do so. Fantastic location. The front desk was closed, when we arrived, and had to get an on-site spa masseuse call the hotel manager so we could check-in. Once we connected with the manager, things went very smooth. We arrived to the room, we realized that It had two queen beds rather than the king bed that we reserved. Spoke to the manager and she advised that the rooms with king beds had broken ac. Special note- the manager, Alex, communicated very well, attentive to our needs and offered excellent customer service. She was impressive. The room was clean, large, with all accommodations "as advertised." We were impressed with the cleanliness of the room. It had a mini kitchen, medium sized fridge, and nice closet. The facility offered beach towels in addition to bathroom towels. The towels were of high quality and nice. Our first night, we experienced the ac not cooling well, notified Alex and she promptly addressed our concern and we were very happy. The pool was clean. Spa was not working. Area outside of our hotel room was clean and well-groomed for a tropical type setting. Love the occasional iguana's roaming freely through the area as this contributed to the positive experience. We understand that the price point of this hotel is on the lower end. Based on this we rated it as 4. The hotel is in a fantastic location. Do not expect luxurious accommodations. We would stay here again.
