So, my husband and I have been taking very quick showers because the water was so hot. I have an American Standard single arm shower (no faucet). I purchased two pressure balances and two cartridges. I am so glad I did. After installing the first set, there was not water come out of my shower head. After several attempts to get the water running and a call to the plumbing supply store where I purchased the cartridges from (the guy there help to troubleshoot but it didn't work), I called Mr. Plumber. I am so very happy I did. Joe heard my story, suggested a few steps to me, gave me his cell phone number all because had faith I can get the job done (I appreciated that ) and I did. I could not have done it without him!

From Plumber to Rock Star!!!…read more Keith, the owner of K. Hoeler plumbing, has traded his humble roots to become an impresario Rock Star ... (guess at whose expense?). Keith has done jobs for me for at least 15 years and "lickety split" has now become a "when i get around to it" plumber and worse. No phone call - no nothing! His services, like his fame, have climbed to a lofty price ... DIG DEEP!!!! I am disappointed and regretful, but this feedback is merited and too high a rating already. I called / emailed / txt to get him to look at a small job. NADA - NO WORD - NOTHING! NICE TREATMENT TO GET AFTER ALL THESE YEARS! BUT ... dumb of me ... Rock Stars charging $125 / hr. do not need tidbits anymore. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR ... IF YOU WANT TO PAY EXHORBITANT PRICES AT THE PLUMBER'S WHIM ... then do call and talk to Keith!!! HE WILL GRANT YOUR WISH TO BE HOSED (no pun). If you want better customer service and a better job overall ... SAVE YOUR MONEY AND THE GRIEF OF ROCK STARDOM AND PASS ON K.HOELER. ps: called a local plumber who came asap and did the small job at easily half the K. Hoeler price. ....YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! L Richards Plumbing was a great company to work with. They were the second out of three companies…read morewe consulted for the job. Our decision was made based on Gale who provided me with great customer service by answering my questions and concerns with such professionalism and patience. She had someone at our house within the hour to assess the situation at hand. That, someone, was Kenny. He assessed the situation and advised us that someone will contact us with a price. I honestly thought the leaks we had from our bathroom through the kitchen ceiling (already made holes in our ceiling) were going to cost us both our arms and legs. Gale called us back with a very reasonable and fair price for the work to be done. Which was to find the leaks, repair them and replace both our toilet and vanity. We agreed on the set price and scheduled for work to start the next day. Kenny showed up bright and early and on time with a mask on. He wore it at all times. He did all the purchases of materials needed, breakdown, repairs, and installations. What I was most worried about was the mess that I would have to deal with afterward. There was nothing much for us to do but to sweep a second time, wipe down, and mop because he cleaned up after himself, took out all the garbage, and took everything with him. That's including the old toilet and vanity plus the boxes the new ones came in. We were so impressed by that because the other companies told us we would be responsible for all of that. After the work was done, he advised us to call in immediately if we saw or heard any leaks. The only call I had to make was a "Thank you" one. I don't know about anyone else but from beginning to the end it was an amazing experience and a job very well done! We highly recommend their services to all and anyone we know! Thank you very much Gale and Kenny at L Richards Plumbing & Heating! If we ever need you again we will definitely give you a call.

After dealing with two other plumbers who don't return calls, show up late or not at all, etc. it was so refreshing to work with someone reliable. He provided a fair quote to switch out a bathroom vanity sink with a new one I'd purchased after looking at pictures of my existing plumbing and the new pedestal I needed installed. Note that his quotes are set for a job including materials, not the usual time + materials situation you see with most contractors. Again, he knows what he's doing and the transparency is a breath of fresh air. The morning of our appointment he showed up 20 minutes early, focused on finishing the work, got it done within the expected window (this included a quick run to Home Depot for supplies), and left the bathroom looking tidy. Robert was polite and answered questions about other work I might need to have done in the future - I wouldn't hesitate to call him again for those projects. While it wasn't included in my initial quote, he was kind enough to call helpers to bring the old sink down the stairs of my walkup building. Thanks for a job well done!

He barely tried to snake the drain and said it wouldn't work. He called his supervisor who said he needed a chain snake. The next evening he returned with the chain snake and it proceeded to fall apart IN the drain. He claimed that his colleague didn't put all of the parts in the box correctly so he'd have to come back again for a third time. He came back with his supervisor and they couldn't even get past the trap! They claim they used a camera and they saw a corroded pipe that needed rerouting. I called another plumber who came and cleared the clog in two minutes. They may be a bit less expensive but they are inexperienced and a total waste of time and money!!
