Love the sign out front - what a throwback!

I love these old school supper clubs in Wisconsin. Go for the experience and ambience more than anything. The service was friendly and intimate. They feed you well. I got the "lake and steak" and while my steak could have been seasoned more it was super tender and juicy. The fish (Canadian walleye) was great too. They were servicing deep fried cookie dough and everyone at our table loved it.

My sister picked this classic supper club location for a dinner for my mother's 90th birthday. She loves the vibe. There were 12 of us and a baby. The server was wonderful and everyone's food came out correct and delicious! Three of us had the walleye, including me. I can't get that very often so I usually order it if I see it on the menu. It was great. I had enough for two meals. This is an old-school supper club, of course with the relish tray to start, the soup and the salad and cocktails. We were there for quite a while and it was delightful. I highly recommend this if you want that old school supper club feel or just a nice date night out

This place has been on my list for years and we finally went for my birthday! We had reservations for 4pm for four of us. Our servers name was Laura super friendly seated us quickl. We all tried seasonal drinks I had the Jack Frost, Dee had the peppermint martini, Riley had White Russian , Jeff had hot spiced black tea with capt Morgan- they were all very good! The re was a basket of breadsticks and crackers on table for us and then came the relish tray it had carrots and celery, cottage cheese, kidney bean salad, pickled sweet sauerkraut, and pickled herring! She actually got us another pickled herring cause we ate the first one so fast! We all had soup it was Brocolli cheese or chicken dumpling which both were very good! We all had salads which were great! No compkaints!! Dee ordered the seafood platter and the rest of us all got same thing the steak and lobster!!!! It all melted like butter in your mouth! The steak was tender and cooked just the way we asked them to!!! We will definitely be back!!! Great job! Love the old time supper club vibe I think we left at almost 6 socwexwerectgere almost 2 hours! Was fun!

The service was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The food was abundant and perfectly cooked. The service was also timed perfectly between courses. The atmosphere was fun and inviting.

This was our first time at Dreamland, but it won't be the last. We made reservations and it was quite busy when we got there, but our waitress took great care of us. It does state right on the menu that due to the number of courses to expect your dining experience to take a minimum of an hour and to let them know if you are in a rush. The mixed drinks were spot-on, and the appetizer and entrees were very tasty. I might have given this place a 5 star review, but the relish tray, soup and salad were nothing to write home about. Back to what was noteworthy. The shrimp cocktail appetizer was delicious (shrimp wasn't "fishy" and the cocktail sauce was delish). I had the Seafood Plate, which consisted of broiled shrimp, scallops, walleye and a lobster tail and it was all cooked just right and had great flavor. My Mom ordered the Australian Lobster Tail, which is purportedly 16+ oz. and it while she raved about how delicious it was, it was MORE than a meal and she ended up taking half home to enjoy the next day.

This place was just "ok." We ordered 3 different types of steaks and also the prime rib. The steaks were all over cooked and most of them were tough. The porterhouse was the best of the steaks, but none of them had much for flavor or seasoning. Service was good but felt a little rushed, with each course being quickly dropped at our table before the server moved on to her next table. Also, while there is a disclosure in their menu about prices being subject to change, you would think the server would at least give us a courtesy heads up. (The porterhouse priced at $34.95 on the menu actually is $38.95. It may have been a temporary or very recent price change because the server initially wrote $34.95 on the receipt and then updated it to $38.95.) Overall, we are not likely to return. It didn't meet the high expectations we had based on others' reviews and experience.

Our table was dirty and the server had to wipe it off when she eventually greeted us to take our order. We had to hear about our server's hot flashes, yet when she took our order, she did not write a darn thing down. Hello, toots, if you know you're experiencing menopausal brain fog/memory loss, write sh!t down. Because you didn't, you only entered two orders out of three (by your own admission after the fact). So because you didn't enter my mom's order, so hers cooked while ours were done, her order was hot, while ours were cool. Not to mention that by not writing things down, my husband's steak fries somehow turned into tater tots?!?!?! My mom's beer battered cod had zero beer batter flavor and the tartar sauce looked like pistachio fluff. The MS Gronk that claims to be loaded with spicy, deep fried pickles had barely any limp pickles, and my cold extreme mushroom & Swiss burger was bland. Beer battered mushrooms had a thin batter, like SUPER thin; and instead of serving the standard ranch dip with it, they just served some spicy cheese dip with these basically naked mushrooms, which of course totally overpowered the mushrooms. 100% do not recommend and would not return. Then after mediocre food and service, my mom and I eventually went outside while my husband finally got tired of waiting for the bill and eventually went up to the bar to try and pay. Do better ~ with cleanliness, order entering, food, flavor, and service.

PRO TIP #1: Here is a secret only a full-time drinker would notice: Drinks are two-for-one if you sit at the bar--all day, every day. Those must be some seriously forlorn bartenders. Pros: - Nice spot that offers quality dishes. - Smoked meats are good Cons: - I would rank other Duluth restaurants over this place, but Corktown is still a solid choice.

CRISPY BRUSSEL SPROUTS Sweet and spicy soy glaze with sautéed red peppers and scallions. These were a little too heavy on the sauce for my liking, but otherwise very good. If you're not a fan of sweeter flavors, this one may not be for you. BUFFALO MAC & CHEESE Cavatappi pasta tossed in a creamy mac sauce, topped with crispy buffalo chicken, blue cheese crumbles, and onion straws. We added bacon and chicken, and this was a top pick for us! The buffalo sauce had the perfect balance--not overly spicy, but enough flavor to complement the creamy mac and cheese. CPB CO. FISH AND CHIPS Craft beer-battered haddock served with Northcoaster fries and house-made tartar sauce. Another top pick for us! The fish was crispy, flavorful, and perfectly fried. Honestly, one of the best fried fish dishes I've had in Minnesota. Unfortunately, I can't report on the beer as I'm not a big drinker...Sorry! The only small downside was that the Brussels sprouts were still a little undercooked for our taste, but everything else was excellent and more than made up for it. When we arrived a bit after 7PM, we had quite some trouble finding parking and ended up having to park a couple of blocks away after circling for 20 minutes. Walking in, the place wasn't too busy, perhaps 50% capacity. We were interested in ordering the fried cheese curds, but the server told us they weren't battered in house, so we passed on them. Smoked Fish Salad (Market Price, $18.99) - This is a pretty salad - all ingredients are arranged in rows along the dish. Mixing things together is a bit of a pain, but I appreciate the dressing on the side to add to preference. The dressing is an interesting blend of mayo and other ingredients, perhaps BBQ sauce, that make it slightly tangy and very sweet. There's an undertone of smokiness throughout, which tastes somewhat like liquid smoke rather than the dressing actually being smoked. It is on the sweeter side of dressings. Other than greens, there's a row of wild rice, dark and snappy, completely broken cultivated rice. There's also a bit of house smoked trout, nice and smoky. (4/5) Classic Wild Rice Burger ($16.99) - This is one of the tallest burgers I've seen in quite a while, mostly due to the inclusion of fresh vegetables including onion and tomato, and alfalfa sprouts. For some reason instead of using larger tomatoes, they use small roma tomatoes, including three small slices. They also used red onion that's chopped into a variety of different shapes instead of whole slices. It's really strange - I guess this saves on cost? Unfortunately smaller pieces means things fall out while eating. The patty is larger than the bun. It has plenty of broken wild rice bits giving some additional crunch and that signature wild rice taste. It's charred on the griddle well and it keeps its structure, not falling apart or becoming mushy at any point. I love how it's distinctively a rice burger and doesn't try to be a meat substitute. Two slices of American cheese are melted on top that gives some fattiness to the dish. The bun is toasted without butter and there's a flavorful garlic mayo spread on the top. It would be nice if they had also applied the sauce to the bottom bun as I found the patty to not have enough moisture or fat incorporated. The burger comes with some thin commercial fries. There aren't any issues with the level of fry and they are otherwise unremarkable. (4/5) Fitger's Brewhouse serves some solid good old fashioned Midwestern American food. Not much else to say.
