You have to hire a separate draping company, linen company, florist/design, and lighting company. Drish Couture Events introduced to me to Shaadi Creations and there was no looking back after meeting Sonal and Mayank. I had ideas and a budget and Sonal and Mayank were able to create a dream wedding within our budget! At our initial meeting, Drish and I had laid out some inspirations for the Grah Shanti and Wedding but the reception was where I was the most confused after searching through endless Pinterest boards. When I mentioned Vintage Glamour, Sonal totally got what I was going for and immediately started showing me pictures and looks of ideas that encapsulated glamorous vintage. The mandap I had a picture of was a double mandap that had to be constructed from scratch at the actual venue all the way in Kansas City. They not only recreated the look but enhanced it with pops of color, floral cuffs and amber lighting that created a soft romantic glow. From the Grah Shanti was jewel toned Sabyasachi inspired. From the Grah Shanti to the wedding to the reception, Shaadi Creations took my breath away by the beauty ambience and splendid environment they created. Each event was unique and gorgeous and beyond my greatest expectations. People have said they have never seen such a beautiful wedding in Kansas City and this is all because of their creative genius and architectural design. I cannot express to you how wonderful it was to not have a single concern about the decorations being completed on time. They went above and beyond in every aspect. I'm waiting on the professional pictures but I will post pictures friends have sent!

Shaadi Creations nailed ever aspect of this and beyond. With being a smaller wedding event planner myself, I never not trusted Nisar and his team...when I walked in that ballroom for the first time I was absolutely speechless. When guests walked into the room they were also speechless and felt like they were just warped into Paris for the wedding of the year. Words can not thank Nisar and his team for what they have done for my husband and I. We are forever grateful for their talent and hard work. WARNING: DO NOT TRUST SONYA I hired Sonya in May 2020 as a…read morefull-time planner to help me plan a wedding for Aug 2022. I worked with Sonya for 4 months before I terminated the contract. In the 4 months, Sonya did not do anything except e-mail some venue options. I found Sonya to be highly unprofessional and dishonest. Sonya does not communicate and kept making excuses for not being able to accomplish any tasks. I got frustrated with her lack of progress and started planning my own wedding. It took me only 3 weeks to tour multiple venues and book one. Sonya would send me venue options via e-mail but never followed up or scheduled tours. She blamed the venues and claimed they were not responding to her. Weeks would go by and I would hear nothing from her. I checked up on her every 2-3 weeks to even get any information. After 3 months, she calls me saying she found a venue. She tells me it is within my budget and allows outside catering. She askes me to send me my availability to schedule a in-person tour. I send her my schedule and don't hear anything back. Two weeks later I call her and ask what happened. She again makes excuses that the venue isn't responding, etc. A few days later she e-mails me a contract for the venue with no information except the attached contract. The contract did NOT match anything Sonya told me over the phone. It was double the cost and did not allow for outside catering. I asked Sonya and she said it was just an "example" of a contract for me to see (what?) and that she will work it out with the vendor. Guess what? Never heard from Sonya again about this venue. We communicated to Sonya about our concerns with her work she never addressed them. I got frustrated and decided to contact venues on my own. In two weeks, I set MULTIPLE in-person venue tours and within 3 weeks I secured a venue that was within my budget and had flexible catering options. I fired Sonya after that. I did not have any issues contacting venues or hearing back from them. Sonya was being dishonest. I asked her to refund my deposit and she has not. I have filed a formal complaint to the BBB. Because of Sonya wasting 4 months, I was not able to secure the date I wanted. TLDR - Sonya took our deposit and accomplished nothing for 4 months. She barely communicated and she did, it was constant empty excuses and lies. She has refused to refund us. Because of her negligence I was not able to get the date I wanted at my venue.

Sometimes the vendors you end up choosing end up moving businesses and that's exactly what happened with Kehoe. We met with 4 different decor companies for my son's recent bar mitzvah and opted to go with Kehoe because we absolutely loved Mal- her energy, her warmth and (most of all) her fresh ideas. She was lovely and easy to work with throughout the entire process so I was bummed to learn a month before our big event that she she had moved companies. However, my planner assured me that we were in very good hands because Tom Kehoe was taking over our event and that most of our event was already in production. I guess this is the benefit of going with a large company like Kehoe. I do think things were a little more chaotic in the few weeks leading up to the bar mitzvah as Tom and his team (we mostly worked with Sydney) got up to speed. We had to redirect with some proofs at the last minute, but the finished product was more amazing than I even expected. The tennis decor they designed was youthful, classy and absolutely breathtaking. Even big sister (my 15 year old daughter) who is tough to impress walked in and said "WOW- this is actually really cool." And while there were many amazing wow moments from the night the #1 comment I received over and over and over again was that decor was unbelievable. It was definitely pricey and tough to swallow spending what we spent on what's essentially a 13 year olds birthday party, but I gave the same budget to 3 other well known decor companies and the budget went further with Kehoe than any of the others. And I thought their ideas were also more innovative and appropriate for a 13 year old boy. Overall, I couldn't have been more pleased. I'm bummed that Mal herself moved on, but would definitely consider using Kehoe again providing there is another designer who is a creative and fun to work with.

He was genuinely excited for us as a couple and provided a white-glove level of service with thoughtful, custom care every step of the way. Black Oak, their lighting partner, also did a phenomenal job. The lighting perfectly highlighted the aisle and our centerpieces, and it truly made a world of difference. With Kehoe Designs, you absolutely get what you pay for. The attention to detail, quality, and sheer professionalism are unmatched. Matt and his team made our wedding day feel magical, effortless, and perfectly tailored to us. We couldn't recommend him more!

We were not familiar with florists in the area and needed something unique and meaningful for a wake arrangement. Lofendo Flowers had a beautiful square wreath with a photo center, and we requested something very special: a photo that included the surviving twin sister Flo, her late brother Ray, and her newly deceased twin brother Frank. Even though this was an unusual request, the owner personally called me over a holiday weekend to make sure it could be done. Despite concerns that the printer might not even be open, they went above and beyond to ensure the arrangement was ready. On the day of the wake, I received the call that the wreath was completed, and it was absolutely stunning. This small business truly cared about making a ninety-five-year-old surviving twin happy, and that compassion and effort meant so much to the family. Lofendo Flowers offers incredible custom arrangements and unmatched service. If you are looking for a florist who will treat your order with care and dedication, I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you to Lofendo Flowers and your team. We had multiple meetings to make sure that I was liking what she was doing. Every single time, I felt nervous (because the nerves did come) she would set up a meeting or give me a call to make me feel better. The day of my wedding (September 19,2021) NO ONE could stop talking about the decoration and flowers she had created. She brought my vision to light. There were exhibits displaying the cultural and religious meanings of Diwali and how the holiday is celebrated by different regions in India. It was evident that Urban India Events is familiar with numerous customs of the Indian culture. The children were all entertained with various activities. This allowed adults to either catch up with old friends or mingle with new acquaintances. The food was delicious! Urban India Events selected an excellent caterer and picked a menu that pleased the crowd. The entertainment started with a dance performed by all of the children. Next, a student Bollywood dance group from Northwestern University performed an excellent routine. All of the guests got into the performance and that kicked off the dancing portion of the evening. The DJ played a mix of Bollywood hits and urban songs that got everyone in the mood to dance. At the end of the evening, the owners of Urban India Events gave us framed pictures that were taken when we walked into the banquet hall. The next time I need to throw an event with an Indian influence, I'll be sure to contact Urban India Events.
