We rented them for HALF the cost of what we'd been quoted elsewhere. Overall, they were very easy to work with and very responsive to e-mails and calls. They showed up to our venue to set up earlier than scheduled (a huge bonus for our event coordinator), and did a great job! Everything was pressed and looked clean and crisp! Her blue table linens and glitz were perfect for our event. The center pieces were so elegant and she designed a beautiful flower arrangement for our sweetheart table! At the wedding, I walked into the banquet and I had chills and my heart stopped! My room was Breathtaking. We had a lilac, charcoal, and glitzy theme and it was beautifully spread out throughout the entire banquet hall. They decorated all 30 tables, my cake table, head table, escort card table and the high boys in the cocktail hour room. I rented out her diamond cake stand which was gorgeous and the sequins head table/cake tables were drop dead gorgeous. The napkins were made into bows and glitz which was perfect for my style since I love bows. I have had so many compliments on the room and my guests all told me that it was the most beautiful wedding they've been to... I have to agree... I live in Portland, OR and happened to come across Pastiche Events while searching for someone to help bring to life the bridal party's vision of a vintage travel theme to be held in the Chicago area. Primarily we needed help with the food aspect of the shower, but Patty was able to assist us in so many other ways that were way beyond our expectations. The shower was pretty much perfect and the bride-to-be was blown away! Patty is everything you could ever want/need rolled into one amazing package--caterer, graphic designer, paper goods creator, event designer, and in general, a creative genius! She is easy to communicate with, SUPER organized, and also understands that there is a little DIY in everyone and manages to incorporate everything into an amazing event. Be Our Guest Event services researched several venues and resorts for me to visit, while simultaneously planning every inch of the entire weekend. After deciding on Bacara Resort we chose to give my guests their own bit of down time along with an incredibly planned out day for my wedding. My wedding day consisted of an amazing brunch on a veranda overlooking the ocean followed by 2 custom painted school buses that took us on a wine tasting adventure to 5 wineries. It was a day of fun and celebration and an incredible weekend of relaxation with family and friends. Tammie took care of every inch of planning my wedding- down to even my "something blue" so I didn't have to think, not to mention tactfully endured any stress that comes with a wedding. Tammie's selections in music vendors, flowers, etc. made the final choices for me a breeze as she knew exactly what I was looking for and most importantly, listened to my requests. The show was a little over 30 minutes and with the age group being between 2-6, the ability of the kids to participate was fantastic. The performer actively tried to give all the kids opportunity to be a volunteer. The flaming bubbles gave the handful of older kids something exciting to volunteer for. One tip I would give as the event organizer: the performer needs some space for the show and the kids need to be shown to not go in that space. I had receipts and email screen shots i sent to her confirming everything but she never booked me and ended up booking other parties that day so i was out of a bubble show for my daughters birthday! I built a whole party around it and she RUINED my event. She is terrible with communication and i warn anyone who books her. Don't be fooled by the other 5 star reviews.....especially since none of them are even recent! I have heard similar horror stories from others who have tired booking her but they have not been brave enough to take it to yelp or google but don't worry i will! It's located right in downtown Algonquin and it's "house" so it adds to the charm. There are many different parties to choose from, but each one includes dress-up and a tea party. You can add makeup and hair for additional cost and each party has varying add-ons so the cost will vary, but the cost is very reasonable. This is not a place where parents stay for the event as the place cannot accommodate that many people (I def did not mind that aspect), so be aware of that. I brought my camera and told the parents I would take lots of pics and for them to provide me their email addresses so that I could forward them once uploaded. Once the girls arrive, they go upstairs to where there are racks of clothes, shoes, and many accessories to choose from with all sizes. After the girls have made their final selections, they take a picture then head to their tea party room. There, they have princess tea (which is sprite dyed pink I believe), cookies, marshmallows, cracker/pretzel mix, and cupcakes. They sing Happy Birthday there as well.
