I originally contacted Julie at Erasistable Vintage Rentals for a quote on vintage, mis-matched, dinnerware for our wedding. My husband and I wanted to select local vendors from the western suburbs since our wedding was to be in Wheaton and the reception in Plainfield. From the moment we met with Julie she was so kind, helpful, and eager. She also understood the type of wedding and atmosphere we sought which was a breath of fresh air when everyone around us through we were crazy or didn't understand our vision. We later decided to ask Julie and her associate Pat to help with day of coordination services. Little did we know what we were signing up for when we made that decision! To our surprise, Julie would check in on us from time to time to see how we were doing, what we needed help with, and was all too eager to put us in touch with other local vendors for services we still required. Although our wedding was an intercultural wedding with elements from both Indian Hindu and American Christian customs, Julie was professional and open-minded to all our ideas in respect to incorporating the various cultural aspects my husband and I both wanted. Throughout our working relationship the three of us came to know and trust each other and I couldn't have asked for anymore, nor did I ever anticipate such a beautiful friendship would develop as a result.
