It was a complete success and everyone had a blast! There were bounce houses, snow cone machines, cotton candy machines... the kids went crazy. If there is anything I've learned about associate events, is that if you keep the kids happy, then the parents are happy. The staff delivered all the equipment as promised, set everything up, and took everything down. It was extremely professional and so easy for the party planners. They didn't have to lift a finger. We made the mistake of renting a grill from another company and it was a huge ordeal just trying to get them to come pick it up. I'm not sure if Jumpin4Joy does rents grills, but it was still nice that they made the event seem seamless from start to finish. Really, the last thing you want is to have several extra hours for prep time, because a company you hired to provide a service or service is giving you the 2nd class treatment. You want to go, have fun, and go home. Jumpin4Joy knows this and treats their customers accordingly. All the staff on hand were extremely polite and helpful - very great experience. To my understanding, they service the Dupage and Cook Counties. If you're just outside of that area, then I would still visit their website and give them a call to see if they cover your area. My daughter communicated with Nikki with what her vision was for the event and the space. I've only seen pictures of what she wanted for Nikki to do. When I got to the event space, I was blown away by the beauty of the colors and arrangements. The flower arrangements were gorgeous, and the details on every table setting were wonderful. The overall decorations put so much good vibes and made the space oh so lovely. The few pictures that I have attached do not give enough justice for the beautiful creations Nikki made for my special event. I wish there were more photos that captured how intricate and pretty everything was. I should also mention that this event was during the first snow storm in Chicago. Nikki and Daniel were prompt, efficient, and very reliable. I did not have to worry that I won't have the decorations we wanted. They actually exceeded my expectations. She stayed in great communication with me for the two months leading up to the shower, which I really appreciated. She perfectly matched the florals in the balloons to the florals I was already using, and the attention to detail was spot on. She also caught a big mistake on my part when I accidentally gave her the wrong date (Monday instead of Sunday) -- which would've been a huge issue -- so I'm incredibly thankful for that. We also found out we could set up earlier than expected and she had no problem changing the time after we signed the contract. Nikki made a beautiful 10-foot balloon garland plus a garland for my welcome sign, and everything turned out even better than I pictured. I got endless compliments on the set up. I've been dealing with Funtime Services since April 1st 2025 trying to book a mobile petting zoo for my daughter's first birthday planned for June 2025 and the experience has been frustrating to say the least. Communication has been a major issue throughout the process, especially with Stacie herself since anyone else I did get to talk with couldn't help me in the slightest other than they'll leave a message for Stacie and then I never hear from her UNLESS I were to reach out and call and some how catch her available in office. Getting clear answers or even timely replies to emails has been nearly impossible. After multiple attempts to try and talk to Stacie herself once I did reach her two different phone calls I was turned away with "I'm busy right now doing something else , I can email you once I become available" (mind you then I'd never heard back at all) to which I'd have to reach out again and finally durning one of our last conversation, she provided general information she had to text to me at that moment and discussed two different pricing options for a petting zoo. She explained that she would be reaching out to two separate vendors at different price points. I informed her that I was more interested in the lower-priced option NATURALLY, but made it clear that I would be willing to book either one, as my main priority was securing a petting zoo so I would be waiting to hear back from her regardless who she was able to secure but to just let me know. So money was not the problem. Mind you any time I would voice my frustrations she keep reminding me "I don't make much money off doing this you know, at most I make $20" What should have been a straightforward booking has dragged on for over a month, and I'm still left with uncertainty and decided to not continue "service" with the company FunTime Services Event Rentals. So it indeed was their mistake she immediately got on the case and stayed in touch with me until everything was corrected. UNFINISHED BUSINESS…read more This multi-use entertainment facility shows promise, but their policies have me very much on the fence. I suggested WickedBall for a friend's bachelor party on 3/30/19. Our group of eight arrived shortly before our reserved time and appreciated their collection of family room games: ping pong, air hockey, pool, and a few consoles set up with Fortnite. Before going in for bubble soccer, we figured a round of beers would be in order. That's when management explicitly told us "if you're playing, you can't drink". POR QUE!?! Why then, does the fully stocked bar even exist.....to tempt anyone over 21? Seems stupid. After storing our valuables in lockers, an overzealous game warden walked us through the rules. I'm sure he will make a great P.E. teacher someday, but our group was pretty low-key and this dude had no chill whatsoever, even scolding us a couple times. C'mon dude. Truthfully, the bubble soccer area was WAY too small to accommodate 6-8 people inside giant acrylic spheres and gave us not much room to run around. The game clock sitting on the floor got kicked over every so often, and every time a ball went into the corners our referee called for a time out. My first experience with Bubble Soccer was part of another bachelor party several years ago, at the Players Indoor Sports Center in Naperville. That was more fun, better organized, and a much larger turf area. Hell, we probably could've drank ON the field and they wouldn't have cared. WB's nerfgun arena was little more than vertical sheets of unpainted plywood with netting on both ends. Since it wasn't fully enclosed, tiny yellow balls would come trickling out, which then got stepped on. The fully automatic guns were powered (which made things interesting) but the reload area/neutral zone made absolutely no sense being in the middle of nerf warzone. A 2-hour wristband is $50 (it came out to $65 per person, after some silly "Lombard Amusement Tax"). I suppose that's not a bad deal if you're making the most of your time, but I'm not about to screw around with foosball at nearly $30/hour while I patiently wait for other groups to finish trying to kill each other. * TL;DR * It's as if someone had this great idea but couldn't find a venue that was big enough, so they stuffed a ton of activities into a Yorktown storefront. Overall, WickedBall struck me as haphazard, a few steps above some dude's makeshift setup in his garage that he built for the kids to mess around in. I know management doesn't want us puking on the court, but how exactly are they going to enforce the strict 'no drinking' rule? What about all those people who find somewhere else to drink (like right next door)? Are you going to make them blow in a breathalyzer, or is it more a judgment call? Sh*t man, people get drunk all the time at WhirleyBall, which is essentially lacrosse in bumper cars. If they can let a bunch of buzzed adults get behind the wheel, y'all should be fine with serving us a cold one whenever we want. Loosen your rules a bit, live a little! Recommended for off-site fun. Rent out some bubbles for a private event and play in a big grassy field, but avoid playing here -- it's too damn cramped.
