In my dream of dreams I never could have imagined a more beautiful wedding. Being from Kansas City, we have very limited options when it comes to the an all-inclusive South Asian wedding decorating. You have to hire a separate draping company, linen company, florist/design, and lighting company. Drish Couture Events introduced to me to Shaadi Creations and there was no looking back after meeting Sonal and Mayank. I had ideas and a budget and Sonal and Mayank were able to create a dream wedding within our budget! At our initial meeting, Drish and I had laid out some inspirations for the Grah Shanti and Wedding but the reception was where I was the most confused after searching through endless Pinterest boards. When I mentioned Vintage Glamour, Sonal totally got what I was going for and immediately started showing me pictures and looks of ideas that encapsulated glamorous vintage. The mandap I had a picture of was a double mandap that had to be constructed from scratch at the actual venue all the way in Kansas City. They not only recreated the look but enhanced it with pops of color, floral cuffs and amber lighting that created a soft romantic glow. From the Grah Shanti was jewel toned Sabyasachi inspired. From the Grah Shanti to the wedding to the reception, Shaadi Creations took my breath away by the beauty ambience and splendid environment they created. Each event was unique and gorgeous and beyond my greatest expectations. People have said they have never seen such a beautiful wedding in Kansas City and this is all because of their creative genius and architectural design. I cannot express to you how wonderful it was to not have a single concern about the decorations being completed on time. They went above and beyond in every aspect. My husband and I had the honor of having Shaadi Creations, Nisar Naimi assist us in designing the look and feel of our wedding reception on January 4, 2014! From the first time meeting Nisar I knew that he would be a true delight to work with. His talent and vision was spot on to what we were looking for. We went with a elegant Parisian themed wedding reception with rich, swank colors, uplighting, floor to ceiling pipe and drape, crystal candelabras, gorgeous luxurious linens and much more! Shaadi Creations nailed ever aspect of this and beyond. With being a smaller wedding event planner myself, I never not trusted Nisar and his team...when I walked in that ballroom for the first time I was absolutely speechless. When guests walked into the room they were also speechless and felt like they were just warped into Paris for the wedding of the year. In April 2014, our charity, Party For Life Inc. had the privilege to work with Shaadi Creations on an incredible transformation of our venue--a WAREHOUSE-into a stunning ballroom. The backdrop was unforgettable: wall-to-wall silk drapery, customized, purple up-lighting through-out, crystal centerpieces, floating candles and even a velvet stage! Considering we had only 2 days to change a warehouse full of pallets and absolutely zero decor into a high end event-- we absolutely couldn't have done this without their magic. I was especially grateful that their team did 100% of the setup and tear-down. Mayank and Sonal were simply wonderful to work with, and our non-profit is tremendously grateful for their exquisite touch on our special event. Highly recommend for any event! read more

I was looking to hold a Mehndi for my girlfriend as a gift for her wedding. I contacted Shaadi Creations, Nisar Niami (owner) is probably the worst communicator there is in a customer service oriented field. He takes weeks to answer simple questions, is rude and abrasive and simply refuses to respond to emails or schedule timings for you to look at his warehouse/showroom. I'm simply appalled. If you are looking to hold a wedding and/or event, I would caution you to steer as far away from Shaadi creations as possible. read more

I did not directly work with Shaadi Creations in the beginning of the wedding planning process, given the fact that I was out of state. My SIL took the helm to source the vendors for our Big FAT Indian Wedding this past Memorial Day Weekend, and I was thoroughly impressed at how Shaadi Creations was able to work with us via my SIL to create the vision for our wedding decor. I am not picky by any means and it was incredibly helpful that my SIL had similar color schemes in mind. I did not make much of the nitty gritty decisions and was pleasantly surprised at the walk through of the decorations 3 days prior to the wedding. The only change I made was to request some more greenery on the reception tables and they were quite receptive. Each event had its own style and flair-- I was most impressed with the stunning reception decor that they put together. All in all made for a wonderful wedding and I am so grateful to them and my SIL! for creating such a beautiful event! read more

Most girls grow up reading fairy tales and dream of how magical the day will be. Mayank, Sonal, and their team were a large part of making our wedding magical. From the first meeting, they listened to what we had in mind and helped us build our vision. Our wedding was a fusion wedding that consisted of many ceremonies including a Jewish ceremony, garba, Hindu ceremony, and reception. We knew we were asking a lot with all the different cultural aspects to accommodate into the décor, however, they understood everything we wanted for each ceremony and exceeded our expectations on delivery. They created a beautiful fabric chuppah for us that was large enough to fit our families and the rabbi. The garba decorations were traditional yet elegant. And when we saw the mandap for the first time, we were blown away. It was the most breathtaking mandap and aisle we had ever seen. They went above and beyond to bring our vision alive. And that's what it felt like. It was beyond anything we could have ever imagined. The only word to describe the décor for each and every single ceremony is 'magical'. The décor created an enchanting ambiance that is indescribable. People still compliment us on it. And all those compliments go to Mayank, Sonal, and their team. This review is 5 years overdue, but my husband and I just recently looked through our wedding album and were again stunned by how beautiful everything was. Sonal was wonderful to work with, she was very responsive to emails and well-organized. She had a good eye for the look we were going for and was open to any ideas I had. Shaadi creations also had a wide variety of decor options for different styles and events, which was much appreciated. I would easily recommend them, however, they are on the expensive side. read more

Sonal and Mayank were actually recommended to us by a family friend, and we couldn't be happier that they were our decorators. My wife is very much an "idea" person, and had grand designs for our wedding decor that she didn't know how to accurately express. From the first meeting, Sonal and Mayank showed us dozens of options and drew from things we liked and disliked to craft a perfect decor package. Our ceremony and reception decor was simultaneously elegant and rustic without leaning too hard to either side, which I previously thought impossible before I saw what they conjured up. Our pre-wedding Sangeet was an explosion of color and vivid backdrops, drawing on Indian street vendors, village scenes, and traditional Indian themes that our guests are still raving about, 5 months later.
