Amazing, amazing, amazing! I will forever be grateful to Isabel from Petalos. I had been planning my sisters quinceanera and had not really put any thought into any floral arrangements or nothing in that aspect. Until I went to a Quince expo, there I stumbled across her booth and took a flyer. I called a couple of days later interested in the church arrangement. I scheduled something so we could come in, and was blown away by her work. We set the date apart and were on our way. Fast forward a couple months, a date change, and a small budget cut; then we were at the week prior to the party. I was running around for the couple weeks before it and hadn't had time to contact her. No worries, due to the reason she was actually thinking up things and such. I finally was able to come in the week prior to the event and we sat down (at this point my sister had no clue Isabel was still doing her arrangements, my sister was under the impression Petalos could not do her event). I speak with her about what we'd like and my sister would like, she is amazing at picking people's brains to get an idea of what they'd like. She came up with a beautiful layout, for both the church and the hall. It was very elegant, but simple (with lots of shine). She was able to provide a beautiful church arrangement, chair covers & table cloths (her idea was to have turquoise table covers with black chair covers to have my sisters dress stand out which was an aqua colored dress), gorgeous centerpieces (she had 3 different kinds of center pieces that looked gorgeous), and a beautiful crown backdrop (that she had recently acquired for the 2014 summer season) for my sister's main table. On top of this she included a cake base, the virgin's bouquet (I have never seen one more prettier for the Virgin of Guadalupe), and my sister's bouquet (this was the most beautiful bouquet I had seen. It had roses, orchids, and crystals). When I picked up the bouquet I was blown away. All I told her was, "Wow, you are setting the bar super high." And she definitely delivered much more than I would have thought. She not only did the decoration, but she was definitely someone I could rely on, the day of the event she noticed how stressed I was, she put me at ease. There is something about Isabel that just puts you at ease when you speak with her, she felt like a family member. She is definitely someone I would recommend. She gives you the most she can; all while staying under budget! We are a little over a week passed our event and people cannot stop talking about the decor and everything included (especially the crown backdrop and bouquet). Isabel definitely outdid herself and put 100% into my event, which I'm sure she does for every event. I would definitely recommend her, and she has a loyal customer in me now! read more

I just want to begin by saying...Thank you Isabel you are an amazing person. I first saw Isabel's work at a Quinceañera back in 2013. I was impressed with her work and decided to meet with her. We set up a meeting and I could tell she was a sincere person. I loved her ideas, work, price, and how eager she was to be a part of my daughter's special day. I decided to to go with Petalos for my flowers and decor. I wanted to choose the best of the best!!!My daughter's quinceañera was going to be huge and at The Drake Hotel :) I wanted to make sure that I didn't choose someone who could not handle a big job. Isabel was great, she made sure that I was happy every step of the way. I think I called her once week and never once did she not answer a call or return one. She also never said no to me :) she always found the way to make sure she could do what I asked of her. My daughter's Quinceañera was this weekend May 23, 2015 and it was amazing. When the doors were opened to the Gold Coast Room people were blown away. I kept hearing "Wow this was better than my weeding". People had nothing but great things to say about the decor and the flowers. Isabel also did the candy table, and the head table. I hope Isabel posts pictures...you will be blown away. My daughter was so happy and could not believe how amazing her head table looked as well as her candy table. The Drake Hotel was impressed with her work that they took her information to promote her when they have weddings there! Thats right :) thats how good she is at what she does. Her daughter and husband are as sweet as she is. They were also at my event willing to help out in any way. There were even a couple of problems at the hotel and she took care of it, it was not her job but she went that extra mile and didn't even worry me about it. Isabel I just can't thank you enough...thank you, thank you, thank you. I am so happy that you were a part of such a special day. Love the Rivera's read more

We want to first say "Thank You" to Isabel and her staff for doing such a wonderful job and fulfilling our dream wedding. We were married August 15, 2015. Isabel at Petalo's Event Decor was great to work with from the beginning all the way to the end. She is a visionary and a professional at what she does. We initially approached her with a vision of how we want our wedding to look with the floral design, bouquets, centerpieces, table settings, etc... at the budget that was comfortable for us. Isabel took ideas and concepts and turned them into reality upon first setup presentation. She was upfront that based on what we wanted it would cost more. At first, there was a sticker shock but Isabel was very reassuring that it will be worth and more than what we would expect. The final result was worth every penny spent. Our guests have made many comments that the ceremony and reception was beautiful. Isabel as a person is warm, inviting, confident and knowledgeable. She is a professional and will work with you through the entire process. Isabel, even with many other weddings happening that day, took it upon herself to ensure the ceremony and reception went without any hitches. She makes recommendations that makes sense and will fulfill the vision no matter what. There are hundreds of vendor florists to choose from but we would highly recommend Isabel at Petalo's Event Decor for other friends and family members weddings and other events. read more

I was referred to Isabel by a previous client and I'm glad we decided to go with Isabel. I did price other options, but nothing came close to the vision Isabel had laid out for us at our initial meeting. The church arrangements she goes with were a little over-the-top for me, although in retrospect, the size of our church would've allowed for it, but she flawlessly tailored it to my more simple likes. The reception centerpieces were gorgeous, full of blooms, and smelled incredible. I was afraid of them looking too small in the rather large room we were using, but they came out larger than I thought and were filled in with several kinds of flowers, in addition to my main flower choice. I even had guests asking if they could take one home. The personal touches were also incredibly thoughtful, the home delivery of the bridal party bouquets and boutonnieres made things easier for us, as they were not close to our home base. She worked with me when I had a slight budget cut and I was able to make adjustments to my order less than a week before the wedding. I even had to call her past midnight the night of the wedding to ask a question, and she was able to provide assistance at that hour. I highly recommend Isabel and Petalos Event Décor. read more

My wedding was breathtakingly beautiful and elegant thanks to Isabel who went above and beyond for us. When we first met with Isabel, we really didn't know what we wanted but she was very patient and with her help, we developed a vision for our wedding decor. You have to order your flowers from this little shop in Berwyn on Ogden Ave. The quality of both the service and the flowers/arrangements are of the highest I've seen in a very long time. I don't like to recommend businesses because if they mess up, my friends and family won't let up for years, lol. Isabel, the person I spoke to at the shop assured me that I would not regret my order and she out did herself. My order was for a last minute event, the funeral of a very dear friend, and I wanted something really spectacular for her. And that's exactly what I got, An absolutely SPECTACULAR flower arrangement. I should have taken pictures. Buy your flowers here and you'll be super satisfied of the results. read more

During my wedding planning back in 2016 (yes I am late), Isabella was very reassuring, responsive and open. I heard about Isabella through the venue that I had my reception at and the woman told me Isabella did her sons wedding a couple of years back and that she was great. My husband Hector and I took a chance and it was one of the BEST decisions of our whole wedding planning. Not only did we love the decor of our wedding ceremony as well as the reception but everyone loved the way everything looked. She came early to put everything out and came to pick things up. She was great! She took care of us and I would recommend her to anyone. Thank you for your service Isabella. read more

We originally planned to order wedding reception flowers from another florist, but we noticed the staff from Petalos setting up for a wedding when we visited our venue prior to our wedding. The centerpieces were gorgeous! I thought they would probably be expensive, but when we spoke with Isabel, we were amazed at the affordable price for such beautiful flowers. We immediately ordered the same centerpiece design for our church and the venue. Wow! All the guests loved the décor. Isabel is so easy to work with and so professional. I highly recommend Petalos. read more

I am a very detail oriented bride. Isabel from Petalos is amazingggggg. She made sure my vision came to life. I gave her changes the week before my wedding and she implemented them beautifully . Her prices are extremely reasonable. She needs to be a wedding coordinator as well, I told her several things I was trying to do outside of her services and she advised me on how to do them in the least expensive way. Isabel rocks. I totally appreciate her. read more
