She had an excellent eye for detail and extremely organized (she sent me weekly email status updates and action items to do). She was able to negotiate great deals with the vendors and directly dealt with them which was amazing to get off my plate. I also had certain things that I wanted for the party (i.e. i try to be as sustainable as i can do that meant little waste, compostable plates, etc) and Fazia was able to source these items that met this demand (ie the plates matched the color theme and were cute!). Importantly, she did not even blink at our gay wedding. We ended up hiring VR Inspirations for the day of and rented couches, an arch and got florals for the arch. Our wedding day went so smoothly largely thanks to Lori and John. They went above and beyond, kept the timing perfect, made sure details were not forgotten, and allowed us to be worry free. We also hired their team to set up our entire wedding, centerpieces included, and it all looked so amazing! They had couches in the bridal suite and moved them around the venue for cocktail hour and the reception. They also found and saved me a piece of cake at the end of the night(and gave it to me the next day) when I was bummed that I didn't eat any and wasn't able to take any home!

I sent 4 emails and a text message before I received any response. The owner was apologetic for taking so long to reply but she did not correct the issue. After finally receiving a response I sent a screen shot of the email download to show the misinformation. I have not received any response to my last email. I did not want a refund, I just wanted the correct clipart file. As a small business owner I cannot waste money, no matter the amount.

I hired SoChic by Shakea for my baby shower on September 16th, 2017. At this point, I can't say…read morethat I was completely satisfied with her service nor would I be able to recommend her future for business. Few issues: 1. During our planning phase she requested a minumin of 1.5-2hrs to set up. I had to pay the venue for the extra set up time which initially wasn't a problem. It became an issue when the day of the party she did not arrive on time to set up (12:00-1:30). She did not show up until 12:45 and the shower was suppose to start at 1:30. She did not finish decorating until 2:30 and my guest were forced to sit in the lobby an hr into the start of the shower. I was not refunded any of the money that I paid to have her set up. Not to mention my mom and my cousin where helping her set up due to the fact that they were so far behind. 2. She did not call me nor did anyone from her team letting me know that she wasn't going to be on time. I had reached out to her around 12:30 to see how things were coming along with no response. I then called someone who was at the venue to see how things were progressing. Only after that did she decide to call me at 1:15 to tell me that she was late. I am understanding that things happen, but I'm sure she realized ahead of time that she wasn't going to make the time we agreed upon. When that was realized, I should have received a call/text from her or her team, but I did not. Her reasoning for not calling was that she didn't want me to alarm me. 3. When we orginally spoke I was suppose to have up lightng for my back drop that was also not present. We had three empty jars that were on the sweet table that were missing items. She did provide reimbursement for those three items that were missing. Overall, I think that this event could have been handled with more professionalism. I think the job was rushed which didn't leave me with a great experience. My guest had a great time, but unfortunately with this being my first experience with her I am unable to give her a positive recommendation.

Hiring Caitlin from Blush and Luxe for Day-of Coordination was by far the best money we spent for…read moreour wedding! I loved that she was able to recommend great vendors, some of which I actually booked (our florist, bakery and hair/makeup). She was also a very diligent and organized liaison, contacting all of our vendors on our behalf to make sure that everything was being executed as planned. Caitlin was always one step ahead of the game, and she even ironed out head-spinning logistics that I didn't even know we needed to plan for! From her extensive experience, she was able to foresee all potential hiccups and already knew how to prepare for EVERYTHING! I must have e-mailed her a million times the day before our wedding, freaking out about what would happen if it rains...and a million other "problems" that had only just occurred to me. Of course, Caitlin already had a contingency plan for the rain and a solution/plan for all my other concerns. Caitlin also helped set-up all our miscellaneous decor and table items that my husband and I brought from home (i.e. not provided by the florist or any other vendor). For example, our wed-libs, card box, escort card display, well-wishing wands, and our unity candle...and more. That was such a HUGE help because I'd otherwise have to rely on the venue coordinator (who was not as knowledgeable of the plan) or assign a family member or member of the bridal party, and I wanted to make sure that my friends and family didn't have to stress about those things. In the end, neither I or my friends/family had to think or stress about any details on the wedding day. we all just sat back and enjoyed the ride!
