Do not buy a car from this place! This is a place that buys a lot of vehicles to sell however they…read moresit on the lot for a long time and are not maintained regularly like a larger dealership. I purchased a vehicle outright (no financing) almost a year ago and have had nothing but problems. Transmission went bad, radiator went bad, valve gaskets and covers went bad, and much more. Vehicle Service Contract? Worthless. They wanted to put in a used transmission that had a 120,000 miles on it. Would not cover anything. This is a "stack em deep and sell em cheap" place. If you want to get a cheap car and you have the money to do a lot of maintenance on it right from the jump, sure go for the cash car from here. Check Carfax to see how long it's been on the lot. If it's been more than a couple of months, run from this place. I found out that my car had been sitting on the lot for almost a year!

I put a deposit down on a vehicle listed by Texas Hot Rides after seeing their ad on CarGurus,…read morewhich said the car had 2 previous owners and no accidents. After signing paperwork, I reviewed the full Carfax and discovered the car actually had 5 owners, had been used commercially, imported from Canada, and had 2 accident reports -- none of which were disclosed during the sale or in the ad. When I brought this to the dealership's attention and asked for my $1,000 deposit back, they refused -- even though I had not taken delivery and the deal was made under false pretenses. I have filed formal complaints with the Texas Attorney General and the Texas DMV Dealer Enforcement Division. I'm also working with my bank to recover the deposit. Be very careful -- double-check everything and get the full Carfax before signing anything.

Do not go here. They sold me a truck WITHOUT a parking break after a "fake" passed inspection. I…read morewas shown illegal paper work stating the truck passed a full inspection with 100% guarantee there were no issues. Complete liars and crooks. They also told me their company was going out of business when I contacted them with my problem (this was a year ago). They also promised me (on paper) they would put in a reverse camera if I purchased the truck. After months of waiting I had to reach out twice about the camera. They told me it was never ordered and that they are closing and going bankrupt so they cannot do any further assistance. which is obviously a lie because they are still open to this day. credibility and truth-fullness is not a priority at this place.

This has been the most unfortunate car buying experience I have ever encountered. My husband and I…read moreengaged in Sidco Auto's business on an endorsement from Dave Ramsey. Sidco was not honest. They went way over the budget we had discussed, and they were very slow to respond to any correspondence. The car agreed to buy was to be in complete "like new" working order. The AC did not work in the heat of August. Sidco requested we return the car for repair which we did, but then after driving all the way to Forth Worth where they are located from down town Dallas, Sidco wanted to keep our already purchased vehicle for an extended amount of time without providing a loaner car. (again, they advertised the car to be in like new condition, but the vehicle we purchased from them was not. They should have provided an alternate vehicle while the one we had just purchased was getting repaired) What Sidco Auto says they provide, is not what they delivered. It has been awful! We did not get the exact model discussed, AC did not work, they went way over our budget which our lender would not cover. Now they will not pay for our out of pocket expenses on the repair of our AC. If you are not an expert in used cars, or auctions yourself, just stick with Kelly Blue Book, Consumer Reports and go to a reputable name brand dealer.
