I would not recommend Drapery Den AZ. Their consultant was great initially, and the installer did a nice job, but everything changed after they received payment the day after installation was completed. It has now been MONTHS of me reaching out, trying to get a missing part for our automatic blinds. Simply a battery that is necessary for the blinds to operate properly. Communication and follow-through have been extremely disappointing. The consultant also never returned for a final inspection as promised. For the amount of money charged, I expected much better customer service and support after the sale. Unfortunately, once they were paid, resolving the issue no longer seemed to matter. read more

I paid for some expensive shades. One has never worked properly. Drapery Den has come out multiple times and then told me their was an issue with the manufacturer of this shade. I've been reaching out since September of 2025 for a solution to this shade problem. I received an email response with a promise to reorder the shade and no response since. I would not recommend Drapery Den because they don't stand by their work, make promises they don't keep and don't care about their clients. Difficult to accept the final outcome. Great customer service is not just at the time of purchase, but it is for the life of the relationship. I am a follow up customer who has worked with Drapery Den (Renee and team) since 2020. When I invest in something, I tend to make a decision to reinvest if the value is there. Drapery Den delivered a great product, but have not done the research on the sustainability of the solar power shades, and was therefore unable to advise me appropriately on the Quality and Lifetime of the product. I am very practical, and I do not expect anything to last forever, but if I knew that the shades would need to be recharged every six months, I would've moved forward with hiring an electrical engineer to place outlets 23 feet high near my ceilings. Drapery Den admitted that they had also been misinformed about the solar panel powered shades, and every six months would come to my home to charge the shades. I'm writing to note that they eventually became bitter with the process and stopped returning our calls and left us holding the bag. We paid top dollar for solar powered shades, but could have just spent a little bit more and hired an electrician to avoid this runaround. More recently, one of our shades was damaged and we worked very hard to contact them to see about a quote for replacement, and they simply would not engage. Our home is one of our greatest . When we invite an organization to be part of making this investment of value, we expect that they stand by the product indefinitely. We are not asking for free service as everything has a warranty period. We're asking for continued paid support of their product. In the case of needing the quote for repair or replacement, we didn't even require that they come and do the repair, just an estimate on their product specifically. My caution to anyone using this company would simply be that you understand that the customer service to continue to stand by their product or answer questions is lacking. They are great to deliver the service and build a decent product in a reasonable amount of time. However, once they have your buy-in as a customer, they might leave you a bit stranded if they don't feel that they can stand by their product any longer. I have to state that there are some awesome people associated with the company, Lance, is a phenomenal contractor and I know that Aaron and Jason had been amazing For service. Rene, I'm sorry to note that the unwillingness to reach out and continued support of your high value customers is concerning and a simple wanna make people aware. I have about three months of text message to get feedback. I have another 6 to 10 months of messages, begging for some type of feedback to help me with your product. There are so many companies out there, I chose your company and I would have loved to have had continued engagement - not free - just support. Instead, you earned our business, then turned your back on us. Rene, As you can see from the email threads, the communication was initiated by me and showed no proactively from Randy whatsoever. I had asked him to take more control of the communication and not wait till I had inquired. He had initially said next week it will be done, then when contacted that week he said "oh, that was the wrong information, it will be another couple weeks". I then contacted a couple weeks later (again my initiation) and was told a similar wishy washy answer. No professionalism whatsoever. Outstanding Experience From the git-go we were impressed with Drapery Den's approach to carefully evaluating our needs for coverings over 6 new large picture windows, but we only called them because the window covering firm we thought we'd prefer dropped the ball with sub-optimal follow-up. We should probably send them a thank-you note, because with Drapery Den's rep (Rene) we not only wound up with an upgrade in the style of Alta roller shades we had planned to order from the first installers (and in the same price range, to boot), Drapery Den's service from start to finish was consistently superb. Rene handled all our needs and questions quickly, courteously, and efficiently, but she even offered suggestions (at no added cost) to improve the whole process. On 7-23-19 I called Randy, the owner and designer of Drapery Den, to inform him that curtains that he installed 12 months ago were coming apart. He informed me that I would receive a call from his installer to have the drapes taken down and repaired. I still have not heard from the installer or Randy. My expensive drapes are being held together with safety pins. I am disappointed in their customer service and their product. Good news!! I just got a call from Randy. He is going to pick up the drapes on Thursday, get them repaired and have them back to me by Monday! read more

Terrible experiences. Initially, we got super fast response when requested the consultation, at the consultation, o thought they were super pricey, but my husband didn't care, placed the order, and we got charged 50% of the total bill, was told delivery was to be expected in 4-6 weeks. Almost 2 months later, we hadn't heard from them, so we called, was told that our drape should be delivered the following week. Another 1.5 weeks passed, we still hadn't heard from them, so we called again, was told by that the fabric for our drape was on back order, we were like "how can that be possible?!" We decided to wait for couple weeks to see if the fabric would be back in stock. All that time, we initiated the calls, no one from drapery Dan bothered to apologize or follow up with us proactively... another 2 weeks passed, my husband called again to follow up, was told that someone would call him back that afternoon. No one ended up calling him back, and when he called them again the next day, we found they blocked my husband's number (coz when I called, the call went through, when my husband called, it says "the person you are trying to reach is no longer in business"). Long story short, when I called, I was also told that someone would call me back. Well, no one ended up calling back either, instead, we got an email saying that our order was cancelled, and we'd get a refund... but we didn't want to refund, we waited for over 3 months was because we needed the drape. Rene has a great eye in assisting and ordering drapery and wooden plantation shutters. Unfortunately the shutters were delivered several months late. That being said the drapery and shutters look terrific. Would give higher score if the shutters would have been delivered quicker. read more

Ok, let's get real. I don't know anything about fabric at all. Drapery Den saved me from myself and saved me money. DD's designers were fantastic! They presented beautiful fabric choices that were complementary to my style. They saved me money by using my old drapery hardware. I was so impressed with my first room that I continued to update my entire home. DD does what they say they are going to do. They will work within your budget without skimping on quality.
