This company also goes by Little Stinker. I wonder why the two names? Bad representation and reputation, perhaps? When they quote you a price it's not the price you were quoted when it's time to pay. The woman who took my call was disingenuous. The bill was 250 more than what she said it would cost me. We are retired on a slim budget and my husband is fighting brain large B cell lymphoma. I have used the services of this company before and it has always been less than what I expected. This week I called them out to help me analyze a plumbing issue that I had in the main sewer line under my house. The technician came out, did his analysis and went to work flushing my drain. He did do the job adequately. But, he was very clumsy and wrote me up a bill with issues. First, he took a panel off the side of my trailer home and stuck it on the other side of a 4 ft tall Cyclone Fence. He decided to climb over the fence to get into the backyard, and at some point in climbing over it he stepped on the panel and bent it. He didn't have the foresight to get it out of the way from where he was climbing over the fence. Then, when it came time to pay the bill he told me that it was $400 in total. I asked him to tell me what the charges were for and he replied $50 to do this $50 to do that and $250 to clean out the sewer line. He said the total was $400. I was not paying close enough attention to the fact that the totals he quoted me only added up to $350. So I handed him $400 in cash and he says "this is only $300." I said count it again he goes "oh yeah, there is there is 400 here." So he handed me the bill and I handed it back to him and said please write paid in full in cash and put your initials on it please. So what does he do? He writes the word "Paid" with an arrow pointing to the total of $400 at the bottom of the invoice. I was very specific in what I asked for and he either wasn't listening or didn't care enough to think it was important. When you pay cash for a service it is important to note that on the invoice when it is paid. As he went out the door I noticed the discrepancy in what he said the cost was and what the total was. It should have been $350 not $400. So he left just before I could grab him so I called the home office and told them about it and they said that he was incorrect and that the cost was not $250 but $300. In my view it really doesn't matter that they have increased their prices, the point is they charged me more than what they stated on the bill. That's very interesting because when I spoke with him as he handed me the bill he said the cost for cleaning out the drain was $250. He didn't stutter. So I guess what I would say to you dear reader is that these guys are not professional and their business practices are pretty questionable. If my guy had made that kind of mistake I would have returned the $50 to my Customer because that's what it said on the bill. I will definitely not be using their services again and I told them this. We had an sewer line blockage to our septic tank on the weekend. I left a message late Sunday evening and got a call back early Monday. By Monday around 10 am the crew was on-site. They were able to resolve the problem quickly. The team that worked on the problem was very professional and considerate. read more

Considerate telephone service. Rapid response time. Professional employee showed up however did zero work which warrant $300 bill. Admittedly there is an expected fee for fuel and time but to charge that amount for doing nothing .... disappointing. Septic not located. Drain lines not located. Serviceman stated baffle underneath sidewalk and needed to be removed. Implementing a little logic from experience would have been appreciated. Different septic company professionals contacted and quickly deduced septic location and confirmed drain lines clear plus NO baffle underneath sidewalk. read more

We don't even want to give one star. Drain's Plus was supposed to pump our outhouse last fall. Didn't do the job but took our money. When we went back to them to tell them the job hadn't been done, we were called liars and kept our money. read more

AVOID THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE SCAMMERS. Their ads say they offer a $20 discount for rooter service and a $20 discount for septic cleaning. So I ordered both. When the work is done they say...didn't we tell you about the $20 fuel surcharge? For each service ?? Gee that cancels your discount. Even their driver was unaware of the scam. He tried to cover saying the price was actually higher and the discount was already deducted. When I called the office I was told the surcharge is because my house is outside city limits. REALLY. ALL their customers are outside city limits because city homes have city sewer. And they have the nerve to advertise that they are honest! NO THEY ARE NOT HONEST !!!!! And they left a mess when they installed the toilet ! Their 5 star reviews are posted by employees !!! read more

BOTTOM LINE.........DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. I needed my septic tank pumped as we were having alarms go off constantly. This home is a vacation rental and having a working septic system is imperative. I called Drains Plus on a Friday and made the next available appointment for the following Tues from 12-2. Was the best I could get. Come Tuesday about 10 AM I decide to call to double check everything was as planned and got a voice mail. So I left one. I got no return call. So at 1 PM I wanted to double check as my husband took the day off to get this squared away. As it turns out, they can't make it that day and would next week be ok? Ahhhh NO, I was on your schedule. Totally unacceptable & UNPROFESSIONAL as you can't tell me that they didn't know that morning that it just wasn't going to work out for them. I know it is a sh*tty job.......But seriously. read more

I had two occasions to be involved with this company. on one they replaced a leaky turn off valve under a sink, had to come back to replace a tub faucet decided he didn't know how to do that and gave us the name of a different Plumber, we paid for the visit. The next time he came to our place it was to complete the job of replacing a fawcet in the Kitchen, he didn't have the right wrench for that job but reminded his work was guaranteed and that he would replace any faulty work free of charge. a week later the entire faucet was turning along with the valve knob, we called to tell them of the problem and reminded his office of the guarantee after a week we called a different plumber who replaced the tub fawcet and properly adjusted the kitchen fawcet. I called the office and reminded them of their promise to make any problem right and asked for a partial refund for the shoddy work. I have never heard from them again. Should you ever decide to do business with any plumbing company and this one in particular, I urge you to get and guarantee in writing or just burn up your money in advance and call a different Plumber. I have looked for a Plumbing License and can't seem to find that one either spoke with the bureau that issues them, and they don't seem to have a record. I called the company and they told me they didn't have it memorized so they would get back to me. read more
