It was on Sunday morning I faced a kitchen sink blockage. I contacted the company via Yelp and the technician responded immediately. Although it was a tough job that there was food and other built up grease in the pipe, the technician used all of his tools and was able to solve the problem! Very skillful and professional. I am really happy with the results. The fee was pretty reasonable as well. I would recommend this company to all my friends. read more

We had a sewer backup at 9pm and water was flooding into our garage. I stopped the leak as best I could and immediately went on yelp to find help for the following morning. Henry responded in under 5 minutes and was ready to come over right away. I opted to get some sleep and he came first thing the next morning. He knew what the problem was and handled it perfectly. I will definitely be using him in the future. Thank you! read more

If you're interested in putting up with a ridiculously rude and inept owner, this is the place. Henry doesn't know what he is doing, his goal is to rip you off and see how he can get away with it. Stay away from these guys if you can at ALL COSTS!!!! They couldn't diagnose an issue if their life depended on it , they dont know how to price a deal they back pedal when you catch them in their little scam. Do yourself a HIGE favor and find another plumbing company. Plenty of other good ones out there. read more

I had the opportunity to work with Henry and his company recently as they were installing water faucets in and around my new garage. He was very personable and really showed great attention to detail making sure I knew what he was doing and why. The best part is he left the workspace really clean and orderly. Usually I have to pick up after vendors who work on my property but he took care and was respectful of my things. Great experience. Would use them again. read more

We called Henry out on a project today and we were super impressed with the way he was able to troubleshoot the shower that was leaking. He's very knowledgeable when it comes to leak detection. He broke down four scenarios of the water intrusion. We will be opening up some drywall to determine the exact cause of the leak and then we will be calling Henry back out to do the plumbing repair. Thank you Henry for your good communication and speedy response. read more

Had an excellent experience with Henry and Drain Rooter. Initiated through home warranty claim to investigate issues with water heater that had been recently replaced by another company through the home warranty. Henry was able to troubleshoot and identify some issues that were overlooked by the previous company during the replacement. While ultimately the warranty company rejected the replacement claim, I found the price quoted to fix the issues to be more than fair and the work was completed in a timely and thorough manner. Henry explained and demonstrated the solutions to what turned out to be a complex issue in a manner that made it very clear what was causing the issues and why what he was proposing would alleviate the problems. After the work was completed, there have been zero issues. My only regret is that my warranty company didn't dispatch Drain Rooter to handle the original call to replace the water heater in August. I feel confident that they had, Henry would have gotten the job taken care of properly the first time and saved the additional aggravation. I will not hesitate to use Henry and Drain Rooter again in the future for my plumbing needs. read more

It all started with a slow draining laundry room sink. Soon it progressed to a clogged tub drain. We called Drain Rooter because they have a camera to look in the pipes and see exactly what was going on. Henry was so good and explained everything that was going on. He gave all our drains a complete washing out with a pressure treatment. Wow the stuff that came out was unbelievable. He got all our drains working as good as new again. Thanks for the excellent and prompt service. We will definitely use you again in the future. read more

Henry was amazing and work was performed on time. Quality work and respected my home very professional service

Henry is amazing. I have used him for several years for both business purposes on the rental properties that I manage and also for personal issues. I trust him completely and quite honestly do not feel comfortable using anyone else but Henry. He has never let me down and he does honest good quality work that I as a businessman can depend on. read more

A simple clog with our washing machine turned into both showers flooding when the toilet was flushed. Henry and his guys scoped the piping and discovered really back cracks in the cast iron piping. As a first time homeowner, this was all extremely shocking because we weren't sure how to deal with our insurance company to get coverage. Not only did they assist us with homeowner's insurance lingo, but they helped us prove our case to make sure USAA would cover everything we are entitled to. They were understanding and patient with all our questions, and were reassuring the whole way through despite our apprehensions. As long as we live in San Diego we'll be going to Drain Rooter USA for all of our plumbing issues! read more

My Home Warranty company hired Drain Rooter to fix a leak in my rental house while we are on vacation. The renters had to sit home during the "2 hour window" twice, they never showed up, cancelling and rescheduling. The leak has ruined the teak floor. It continues to leak. WTF? Do I have to drive back to San Diego and handle this myself? Apparently. I will find someone reliable. read more

Had an appointment for some plumbing work through my home warranty. Drain Rooter took two weeks to contact me to set up the appointment. Once the appointment was set they didn't show up and didn't even bother giving me a call or text to let me know. Tried calling them and just got their VM. Then I was contacted by another plumber letting me know Drain Rooter cancelled my work order. All Drain Rooter had to do was call/ text me so I didn't waste my day sitting around waiting for them. Won't be using Drain Rooter in the future. read more

Be very aware that this man does not have your best interest at hand. First of all, you can never get him on the phone and his business phones are not connected now, he only responds through texts. I made an appt for him to be out Friday between 2-5pm, after 3 texts to him Friday, he texts me back at 9:30pm stating he forgot he had an appt but promises without a doubt, that he will be there between 12-2pm the next day. 2:30pm rolls around and I still don't hear from him. Texted him twice, finally ges a text back stating he will be there between 4-4:30pm and of course he never showed up, never texted back, NOTHING! Today, Monday I text him that I will give him a bad review with one of the people he works for, and he gives me a sob story that his mom passed away 6-8 weeks ago and he hasn't been himself and hopes I give him another chance in the future. If his mom passed, that is very very sad and I know how that hurts however by the looks of the other reviews, he has been flaky for years. DON'T USE HIM! He doesn't seem to understand that our time, customers time, is important as well. I don't know those of you who gives him good reviews, but you must be family or friends and not REAL customers, or your getting the work done for free! read more

It took us a few tries to find out what what the problem was, but Henry and his team were attentive, kind, respectful and also very nice about educating us on the process along the way. We felt very comfortable with them in our home and they were super nice, which is a great bonus. It's not always an easy fix, but we feel fortunate to have had this team of guys helping us come to a solution. As a working mom, I also really appreciate the real-time updates from the staff. I want to give them 0 stars! Be aware of this company. Avoid at all cost! Read their Google reviews first then decide. Hopefully, you won't be screwed like me! Awful awful customer service and very unprofessional. read more

By far the worst service ever. This is my first review on yelp and I just want led to warn everyone that their service is horrible. They were late for the initial inspection by an hour. It was all good until they did not show up for the appointment that was scheduled for the actual repair. I had to call and they mentioned that they were busy from the last job and said they texted me that they were running late. I did not receive a text by the way. They go on and say they are short handed. They eventually came in for the repair (days later). I had to schedule an appointment for the dry wall repair a week later. Guess what happens on the appointment? No show or courtesy phone call. Again, I called and they apologized blah blah blah. They actually called my warranty company and had them call me because they had to reschedule (again) 3 days later. I wanted a new company to finish Drain Rooters job. Talk about a half a** job. I would never hire this company ever and I would like to warn everyone. read more

Horrible and very unprofessional! I gave them a couple chances even after they never showed up to my appointments and had me waiting. They never called me to let me know they were not showing up. Henry was not just efficient and professional, but amicable and courteous as well. I will definitely be using his services in the future, highly recommend his service! read more
