Been dining here for years, and they've been consistent with the quality of their food. The coconut chicken, bourbon chicken, salmon, hot and sour soup, pakoras are excellent. The sushi is too large and not flavorful, and their desserts consist of a very good rice pudding and blah items like macaroons and ice cream. We've driven by this restaurant dozens of times and tonight thought we would check it out. It was Tuesday, 6 pm. We thought the buffet would be fresh-- having just been put out. We were wrong. Half of the items, shrimp, sesame chicken, egg rolls, fried mushrooms had been reheated, possibly a few times. Food was barely warm. We started watching their staff refill the pans, then we hurried back to the buffet to get something that was actually hot. Very disappointed. Will not return. read more

Is the food amazing? Are the servers amazing? Is the price amazing? No. No to all. However, it is all pretty good. This alone would warrant a "A-OK" rating. However, what amazed me was the selection. It isn't always amazing but, sometimes you can find real treats here. So far I have found; frog legs, octopus, and decent sushi (rare for a Chinese buffet). We have eaten here through the years, and it's comforting to always find the same foods on the buffet. However, we were here once this past summer and once in the past week --at lunchtime when you would expect everything to be fresh and hot, and a lot of the food was not hot. It was actually a bit on the cold side. If you see someone come out and put fresh food in one of the pans, then you know you're getting something fresh and hot. Otherwise, it's not so likely. It took me a while to find this place because "buffet" is usually a term that scares me away! Many factors make this place special. To begin with, the food is excellent! Beef Broccoli, Chicken Broccoli, Bourbon Chicken, dumplings, won ton soup......all excellent!! They have it all: sushi (very good), fruits, cold salad items, and even an ice cream station. The lunch buffet is a bargain at $6.50, before tax!! They also have a take out option where you pay by the weight once you have filled up your take out container. The other factor that makes them stand out is how clean everything is: when any of the staff has extra time you will see them cleaning and polishing the light fixtures, surfaces and even the entry area. The food area is very clean as well, and they keep all items freshly stocked. I saw them refill the dumplings today and they removed the two "old" ones that were left, and replaced the whole tray. The owners are very friendly and take obvious pride in the quality of their food and the cleanliness of the place. Although it is a buffet, the staff gets empty plates off your table as soon as you make a return trip. (I know this is obvious, but I am amazed at how many "buffets" don't get this concept). read more

Others seem to disagree, but for me and the lady, "dragon" is about the only way they'd get me back here. It wasn't terrible, mind you, it just wasn't good. There were a few stand-outs: The Good: 1) the fried dumplings, not the traditionally prepared ones the other bad boys, the filling was spot-on 2) The crab rangoon, that extra half-teaspoon of cream cheese makes all the difference!. Has anybody ever gotten crab in one of these anywhere? The Bad: 1) most of the entree items were in need of being refreshed, so doughy coldish if it was battered, just coldish if not ...odd, as the hour was noon. The chicken broccoli had no seasoning whatsoever on the chicken, so I just ate the broccoli 2) The Egg Fu Yung I don't know if was texture or what but this could not be choked down. The Ugly 1) Who do you have to tackle to get a check? Simple hints, like all the silverware, napkins and miscellaneous debris piled high on one's plate, and shoving all plates and glasses to the edge of the table for removal and having one's wallet and pulled credit card in plain view, did not do the trick 3) The lady removing herself to use the facilities in addition did not work 2) Even when I asked the waitress for the tab, when finally getting her attention she said ok, and disappeared into the kitchen for at least a full five minutes....did she have a bill upon returning? ( I figured she was off finding a calculator, although since every entree is the same price one would think commiting the numbers to memory would be in the cards somewhere here.) NO. A fevered discussion in Mandarin eventually takes place between the host and the waitress, and furtive sideways glances occassionally are turned in our direction, the host says to us "Just a minute", and proceeds to seat several customers and take drink orders before returning to have a second discussion with the waitress which we ultimately resolved as there was apparently some confusion as to what we had to drink, so I told them, we had the bill plunked down with a half-hearted apology croaked from the waitress and we hopped up to the counter to pay, rather than take a chance on the timing, or indeed the occurence of a return visit. The host acted much like I do with my doctor when told to "bend over" as I was paying the bill, (no smart-aleck glee was NOT a component), and the traditional "thank for your business" that some business people offer when I put money in their pockets was not forthcoming. read more

Place was clean, and we were seated almost immediately. Food was okay. Thought it was unusual for there to be pizza out at the buffet. But for kids I can understand. Probably won't be back as every Chinese place is different and has different ways of cooking their meals. Their crab Rangoon was good but general tso's was horrible. read more

Was not impressed with this buffet. Pepper chicken did not taste great, they had mozzarella sticks? Some of the white rice wasn't cooked thoroughly. Royal buffet down the street is much better read more

Family of 5. We were skeptical at first because the parking lot was empty at 4:30pm on a Sunday but we're super glad we went inside. The buffet was fantastic. Very clean, fresh, and a huge variety. The service was superb. We can't wait to eat here again! read more

Good buffet food. I am a fan of their peanut chicken the most. The owner's son is very fun and even gave me some of the peanut chicken to go at the end of the night. Great prices. It is on the smaller side as far as length of buffet and maybe more social waitresses. Overall, a good Chinese buffet to go to especially for the lunch specials. read more

Employees was nice and friendly, seated us right away, get our drink orders as soon as we set now, but the food was warm .

We went back here last Sunday with our daughter. Unfortunately my daughter didn't like anything on the buffet. I thought that the food was OK but not up to their usual standards. We gave them our coupons with the bill as usual, had to wait a long time to get the receipt and credit card back, then they didn't take the coupons off of the bill. read more

My husband and I like this place a lot. They have good food, the pizza is great when it is fully baked right. I am concerned about the shrimp they offer...The shrimp is not fully deveined and the cold shrimp you can tell is not fresh its freezer burned every-time we go there. The fried shrimp is never served warm it is room temperature or cool....it should be warm...they need to check their temperatures. I hope the health dpt checks them regularly. The people who fill the food slots are rude...and practically moved me over so she could fill the tray,,,They need to have some patience not everyone is stable on their feet!!! She would of heard it if I would have fallen over. The waitresses are excellent every time we go there. They need to do something with the fruit flies that fly over their desserts. Other than the shrimp issue its a nice place to eat. Go down the street by Fenn road if you want FRESH shrimp...and see if you agree with me. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO CHOKE AND GET NO APOLOGY. I have been eating here since it opened, seeing it is (well, WAS) my brother's favorite spot for our Saturday lunches. I always eat the crab Rangoon. My last visit, I took a bite and immediately knew something was wrong. I took a sip of water and still felt something lodged in my throat. The water made it move down further before being stuck in my throat. Trying not to panic, I began to cough. I was suddenly alarmed because even coughing for thirty seconds wasn't making it budge. I just knew it couldn't be the Wanton shell. After struggling for a few minutes, I finally was able to get it to a point that I could reach down my throat and pull it out. What did I find? TWO INCHES OF HARD, PLASTIC WRAPPER. My throat was scratched and very sore. I was very upset. My mom, very nicely, brought it to the owner at the front desk. He kind of shrugged, said it sometimes happens, and threw it away. No apology. No one came to the table. NOTHING. So I went over to him and explained what happened. Still, no apology or any remorse. Apparently this has happened before. I told him that I wouldn't be eating anything else and didn't want to pay for my meal. He said oh okay. However, when the bill came mine was still on there. He still wanted me to pay for the ONE crab Rangoon I had and choked on. It would be one thing if I bit the Rangoon, immediately felt the plastic, and just promptly pulled it out. That's not what happened. It was LODGED in my throat and was stuck there. When we checked out because my mother and brother still had to pay for theirs, the owner kind of shrugged and said "Sorry. Ya know when we cut the cream cheese it just happens. Nothing we can do. No big deal." You're right, no big deal to YOU. I tried to call the health department but they don't have weekend hours so I will be following up on Monday. I would encourage you NOT to eat here. It's reasonable for a reason and their staff has no idea what customer service is. In addition, it's not safe! My little brother is only 8 and that could have EASILY been him that ate that. He had the same thing on his plate. The owner didn't even remove the batch from the line. HORRIBLE PLACE TO EAT WITH VERY UNSAFE CONDITIONS. If you don't want to choke or watch your loved one choke, spend the extra money and go elsewhere. read more

This is definitely a place my husband and I like to go for take out, and we have dined in many times here. The location is in good distance to other shopping in the area and the staff is always very friendly. Overall the place is very clean, due to the popularity it can be rather cramped when there is a full house but you really just need to time it out. Take out consists of a decent size Styro foam box and costs about $5 a pound. There is a lot of great dishes to choose from and the staff is always refilling the selection, it can be a really nice alternative when you are looking for a quick hot meal for an early lunch or late evening. There doesn't appear to be a restriction of the take out boxes as we always fill them to the brim with lots of great choices. Both across the board Asian dishes and a few American classics for the picky eaters and kids (pizza, cheese sticks, chicken tenders) and classic Asian buffet deserts (what are those amazing coffee flavored, layered, square things?! AMAZING!!) Overall, I think it is worth checking out, they also serve beer in house so there may be the extra bead of incentive you need. read more
