Situated near the hospital in a remodeled old building, this cute little place offers up soups, salads and yummy sandwiches. We were a party of 5 and everyone loved the food. The sandwiches were sized reasonably and served with a bag of chips. I would have been good with just that, but we tried the soup too. Lobster bisque and potato bacon were both extremely flavorful and we all shared. Cookies were a nice addition even though we didn't need them. We talked with the owner for a bit afterwards and she shared some stories of the building and the area. This is the reason small individually owned restaurants really rock, the people really enjoy what they do. And it shows in the appearance and tastiness.

I went small since I figured the breadsticks and salad would make up part of my meal. The "lighter" lasagna. And it was a small portion, but it did end up being enough with the "free" stuff. No leftovers, of course. And I didn't really care, because it just wasn't that great. Olive Garden's specialty is good-enough sorta-Italian. And with so many other options it is never my choice. First of all the staff is so kind and very helpful. They had gluten free options and can even accommodate if you have Celiac which is hard to find. When I placed my order they said the source locally as much as possible and their salad are cut from the root which is fantastic. I had the Basil Mayo BLT with gluten free bread and it was amazing! The bacon was cooked to perfection and if I go back I will for sure get it again. As our group ate we were checked on multiple times to make sure everything was ok. I had a chicken salad sandwich on a croissant. It was refreshing after riding 30 miles to Danville, Ohio. They do not serve alcohol and it's a bit "Jesusee" for me. The food came out fast and everything was tasty. The first woman (Jackie, I think) was wearing a t-shirt that said "Jesus loves this hot mess."
