I was moderately hungry, so I ordered a cup of chili ($7) and a side of battered fries ($5), along with a cider and bourbon boilermaker. Service was excellent, there was no waiting for a table around noon, and both selections came out piping hot. The chili was true comfort food, and the sandwich was sized so that I could have the second half the following day. The seating is spacious, sound level permits a conversation at normal levels, and the restroom was well-maintained and clean. It's good to know that the community supports this long-time favorite.

There is limited seating in the bar, but there were available tables. Bartender was friendly and helpful. I ordered a flight with four beers.
