We were hanging around the Cleveland Avenue area and needed some grub, so we decided to check out Crazee Mule. They are located in a strip mall with lots of parking and really nice outdoor seating. Their patio might be the nicest I've ever seen. It is well shaded with fans running to keep you cool. We decided it was too hot though and headed inside. The inside of Crazee Mule is just as nice. It's dark and the place is massive! I bet this place is hopping on the weekends. They have a stage for live music, a DJ booth, tons of tables and seating, dart boards and Keno, as well as another room with at least 8 pool tables and a separate bar. It's quite impressive. But we were there for food, and the bartender was also serving as the waitress; she came right over and was so sweet and attentive. She gave us some recommendations; for an appetizer she suggested the cheeseburger rolls and she assured us that the Sticky Mule Burger, that has peanut butter as a topping, was amazing. We ordered both items as well as my hubby getting the Mushroom & Swiss burger for himself. The food came right out and all of it was delicious! I was a little nervous about the peanut butter but it was subtle and complimented the other condiments well. Their fries are hand made and crispy with no need for ketchup. Overall, this was a great lunch spot and we will definitely be back to try other menu items that caught our eye! read more

Food was outstanding. Highly recommend trying the cheeseburger rolls, interesting but it works. Staff was helpful in figuring out what I wanted to order and was quick. Quiet and good vibes, looks like they have a stage for music too if that's what you're into. I will be going back! read more

band was WAY TOO LOUD!!!! couldn't even hear the waiter and i had to yell at her or else she wouldn't hear me. ordered onion rings as an appetizer, but it took them 30 minutes to bring them to us, and they brought it to us with our entrees. DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!!! 0/10!!!!!!!!! will never be coming back read more

Decided to have an early dinner with the heat today. Stopped in at Crazee Mule Pub & Grill. Ordered the 10 Smoked Wings and a basket of Onion Rings. The wings can have a variety of sauces, I went with the BBQ sauce. The wings were flash fried after being smoked and then sauced. These weren't those dinky wings everyone else is serving, genuine huge wings. The Onion Rings were nice and crispy with a nice Aioli dipping sauce. My waitress was Ashley, super nice and checked on me a number of times. Will definitely be back to check out some more of the food. It is a huge bar with several pool tables and a huge amount of TV's for watching sports. read more

Great pizza and subs. A hole in the wall bar with darts and great food for bar food. Friendly staff.

Great drinks, competitive prices, I love their signature pizza. BUT they don't play "thug music" (DJ's words not mine) because they feel it brings violence. The song suggestions I made were main stream hip hops songs that are played at stadiums and on television. The impression I had felt unwelcoming and discriminatory towards minorities and people who do not fit their ideal crowd. Mind you this is by no means a high end or premium bar. This is a "hole in the wall" type of place in a diverse neighborhood. I do not recommend ANY people who are a part of or support minority groups to support this establishment. read more

I was not able to get photos tonight due to my phone dying but...amazing specials. Home cooked meals and the drinks are great (I don't drink but my friends do!) DJ. Music Dance floor Pool tables. Some of the food is good, some not so much. Fried bologna sandwich compares to Waldo bologna. Good burgers. Salads ok. Stay away from steak meals. This is a bar so you can expect bar patrons who know each other and get loud some times. read more

My first visit did not go stellar. I hope the next visit inspires me to add stars. Patio outside for the smokers is next to the front entry door. I went on an odd evening because all the hightop tables had tablecloths and centerpieces. the place was dripping with a pink overload of decorations. After dismissing it as standard, I guessed Bachlorette party or obvious gender reveal celebration. It was a birthday party. I sat at the bar(7:01) and received a polite "welcome" at 7:09. "I'm sorry but Happy hour is over". Of course I had time to watch other patrons receiving their happy hour priced domestic bottles. OK "I'm here to try a fish sandwich that a friend recommended. He said it was HUGE". Frosty cold bottled beer arrives with napkins, silverware and condiments. **There is no beer on draft here. Only bottles & cans.** When the sandwich arrived, I was unsure why it looked nothing like the pictures. I showed the multiple pictures to the 2 staff members, who said "Oh, you wanted the HUGE fish sandwich. That's the regular". Walked away. I looked at the menu to see only one fish sandwich, elaborately marked HUGE. Now every bite had an aftertaste of 'bait n switch'. The fish itself was very good. My LTO was only Lettuce. The bun was too much bread for these lonely fish pieces. Hoping the $2 Sunday breakfast (3 pancakes, 3 bacon) is as promised. Same for the Tuesday pizza. read more

Tony! Your only employee that hustles is Tyler. Sat at the bar for 2.5 hours and had to wait and wave people down to get any assistance. It was not crowded at all. Tyler saved the tip at the end. read more

Well the fish sandwich more than lived up to reputation my friends gave me and the Sracha BBQ boneless wings were on point. Quick stop for some bar food before a show. Two of us got burgers, one got the sampler platter. Burger was a little dry, came out well done. 6/10. Nothing bad to say about the sampler, all was great. Chicken tenders were phenomenal. 10/10. Beer was cold, bills were cheap and service was on point. The servers help out on all tables, we were never left needing anything. read more

I love this place. Dive bar appeal, sports bar motif, live music joint. First things first. Came in on a Tuesday night to watch the Indians game. Wasn't sure I would find it in Columbus, but they did. Special today was a $5 pepperoni pizza. Owner offered to buy it for me if I didn't like it. It was a thinish crust (not Donatos thin) baked on cornmeal. Good. Plenty of cheese and meat- actually a crazy amount for the price. Red sauce was nondescript. Being the pizza snob that I am, 3-4 stars out of 5. Now the smokes wings....crazy good! A little skimpy on the sauce, but outstanding smoked flavor and very crisp. 4 of 5 stars which could easily be a 5 with a different or more sauce. And then the band started playing. 3 piece blues band with an open mic or two. Game, set, match. 10 of 5 stars for the tunes. These guys were that good. And I know my blues! read more

So we drive up to Columbus from our end of the state, hunting karaoke, and boy did we find it. Crazee Mule is going to be a regular spot when we come up. The food was delicious (I had the wings and my lady had the appetizer combo) and everything arrived hot, no extra charge for dipping sauces, and enough that we had grub to take home. Prices are very reasonable and no cover. Everyone, from our waitress (who was Uber sweet and friendly) to the owner, Tony (a very talented singer himself), made sure to check on us and see if we needed anything. Brian H. (the KJ - also very talented) ran a smooth, if small rotation throughout the evening. The location is clean, including the bathrooms, and their entertainment catalog throughout the week makes me wish we lived closer. The crowd was a tad subdued for a Saturday (we're between sports seasons, so you're always going to see a slight drop in occupancy during those times) but folks were pleasant and they have a good group of regulars to cheer folks on. Highly recommend. Will visit again. - Bear read more

Crazee Mule Pub & Grill - neon sign - Salad Near Me - Columbus, Ohio

First time here. Seems to be a established pub with lots of seating and tv's. Two pool tables and electronic dart boards. We ordered the Tuesday special which is a one topping pizza for $6 and the sampler platter ( half off happy hour special) for $4.50. The Pizza was very good and cut into small pieces. The crust was thin and crispy and ample pepperonis. The sampler platter had two potato skins, two mozzarella sticks, two huge chicken tenders and fries. It came with sour cream, marinara sauce and buffalo sauce. The fries were my favorite! Seemed to have a crispy crust on them. The other apps were very tasty as well. Service was attentive and friendly and we got our food in a reasonable amount of time. Looking forward to going back! read more

This place just plain sucks. Food was horrible nobody in the restaurant still took us 15 minutes to get a waitress. When she was done flirting with the guy in the back. The soap was in mustard and ketchup squeeze bottles No toilet paper no hand towels. Got my food it was absolutely horrible took two bites couldn't even eat It. Never recommend this place to anybody read more

We go to Yanni's next door and always said we'll have to try this place. Since they had a sign in the window advertising T-bone steak we had to try it for lunch. It is a large sports bar with lots of tables and some booths along the wall. Two pool tables, dart boards and Keno probably get lots of interest in the evening. The t-bone comes with two sides and was perfectly cooked. The mashed potatoes with gravy were very good. They have my favorite white zin. The front enclosed patio is where customers who smoke sit. The service was just so so. read more

I enjoy the atmosphere of this establishment. The food is wonderful. I have had the pizza. I have had the burger. I have even had steak and lobster mac-n-cheese. Everything I have ever eaten here has been cooked to perfection and very tasty. The owner Tony, is a proponent for helping the community that he is in. He has help with meals for charity events and loves to volunteer. He has been a wonderful help to his community. It is refreshing to see an owner take pride in his establishment and be so involved. The drinks are always good and the food is delicious. I highly recommend the Crazee Mule for parties or just a drink after work. Very accommodating. Keep up the good work guys. read more

Wish I could give 6 stars! Been coming here for years, it is like a second home for my friends to get together. Tony is the owner and goes above and beyond to make sure we have a good time! Keno, pool, darts, karaoke, and Adam plays amazing live acoustic on Wednesdays read more

I was a little apprehensive about the location at first, but this is actually a perfectly nice sports bar with really good food and a decent drink selection. I came here with a large group and aside from some trouble ordering food (apparently I'm going through an "invisible to wait staff" phase), it was a really good evening, with friendly waitstaff and a fun mix of music. I wouldn't seek out this place from across town, but if I'm in the neighborhood, I'll definitely be back. read more

I accidentally stumbled upon this place a week ago and have been here 3 times since... I have never left a review ANYWHERE but all I can say is, I'm obsessed with this place. All of the food is incredible and extremely low priced! Drinks are great, service is immaculate. Not to mention, everyone is so welcoming and all around a great time! The owner walks around and personally mingles with people, as well as the goofy bartenders. 10/10 recommend to everyone :) read more

food is very good. I've had the chicken salad sandwich, excellent, the veggie burger also very good. every thing I've tried here has beeen good. I've never had bad service. I've only been here in the evening a few times, generally go for lunch and it can get a bit noisy at the bar from Tim to time. I wouldn't call it a dive bar, because I've been to a few of those, but it's more a neighborhood bar. bar customer's seem to be regulars and know each other that's why it may get loud. the service has always been friendly and fast, prices are really good. I've never seen drug activity, as one reviewer mentioned. I don't think owners would knowingly put up with that. in fact a group of seniors I know go in for lunch on a regular basis and have been happy with this place. I wish they would use Fresh pineapple on the harvest salad, not canned, canned is tacky and not very good. that's all! read more

I was a little leery about the location, being so close to a strip club in a strip mall, but the foursquare reviews peaked my interest. I a rolled in a bellied up to the bar. The bartender Stephanie drew you in with her friendly personality. So I ordered a draft and grabbed the menu. The gal next to me told me that everything on the menu was amazing - especially the burgers. Well I HAD to opt for the pork - Mule Style. Wow!! You HAVE to check it out! So flavorful and cheap :D The crowd was diverse and I felt comfortable being there. I will go back! read more

Awesome place. Drinks are reasonable. The bartenders a very nice and fun. The owner is very personable and always greets everyone

Drinks are strong and inexpensive, great atmosphere, love coming on Thursdays for drinks and karaoke. I always get a hula girl (as a drink) and an M&M shot. The hula girl is like a rum pineapple upside down cake and the shot is mango rum and monster. It is a dive bar, and forewarning- do not expect quick service. That aside I do recommend Crazee Mule. They have great deals and great cocktails. read more

5 dive bar stars. Sports bar, pool hall, darts, keno, jukebox when no dj or band, great food, extensive beer selection at great prices. Very friendly and attentive staff. It's was busy and everything served fast, actually expecting a few more minutes to finish my beer before food came out. Happy hour till 7 but prices are very good/cheap to begin with. Note: beer bottles only, very good selection of crafts and domestics. Mixed drinks were good and heavy. read more

First off, if you go to this place just a couple times, the bartenders remember your drink. They always say thank you when you tip out. Sure sometimes you have to wait for a drink but it's only because they are busy working their butts off. Hardest working group you will meet. Next, let's talk about the food. This bar has one of the largest menus I've seen for a bar of its size. My favorites are the pizza, hand breaded chicken strips with sweet chili and the Rueben. Daily specials and menu items, baked spaghetti and cabbage rolls were my most recent favorites. The price for value will make for a nice dinner without breaking the bank. Atmosphere changes from the regulars at happy hour, which is later than most (7pm) from the DJs and bands on the weekends, I always have a great time. Live blues on Tuesdays, Tom Cline on Wednesday and Karaoke on Thursday nights. Did I mention it's family friendly during the day and has dart boards, pool tables and keno. A little something for everyone. Lastly, the owner is probably my favorite parts of this place. He really cares about his customers. He volunteers in the community and hosts benefits for the homeless, Christmas toy drives and breast cancer, just to name a few. He is a little silly at times but he keeps a smile on your face. All around good person. read more

We went to the Mule for Sunday football. Bar was packed with a diverse clientele which was fun! I ordered the wings and they were fantastic. they were very large and you could taste the smoke flavor. I also tried a buddy's pizza and it was very good as well. I was nervous because there were only 2 bartenders for the entire bar. However, our service was excellent. We were there on Veteran's Day. We had a veteran with us and he recieved a free drink. This place is definitely worth the visit. read more
