Dolphin Lounge is another dive bar. It's located on Agler Road. This isn't as bad as it sounds. It's actually kind of funny. The character of the bar and patrons is one of a kind. It may not be clean but it's not filthy. It seems to have underwent a few improvements. Most of these seem to be with the bathrooms. Amazingly it doesn't smell like piss. The towels are actually stocked. Bands are featured most weekends so there's probably a cover. This is good for happy hour during the week. It's not pretty but Dolphin Lounge is good for cocktails and live music. It's better than many other scary bars around. They also have lots of promotions.

Blast from the past. The owner has made several improvements, Bose speakers, several flat screens, dart board, jukebox from this century, neon bars signs, etc. The bathroonms have also been improved, new paint job. Still old school with the wall of mirrors, reminds me if my grandma's house. Yes, the beer is a little pricey, but you don't have to pay a cover so it ojay. The best deal is the bucket 5 for $15, mix-n-match. The bands are good, they have different stuff every night. Open mike, live bands on the weekends. Tgey also have special events, bar crawl, benefits, sponsored by moonshine or new bud products, complete with the "girls dressed in skimpy outfits".

First and foremost this is a dive bar .. it's not the short north .. not grandview .. it's an old dive bar .. the bartenders every time I've been have been nice and attentive .. tables are clean as are the bathrooms .. is it old .. yep .. lava lights and all .. it's a fun place to hang out and if you want to have a birthday party the owner lets you bring your own food .. get over it princesses .. it's a dive bar .. nothing more .. nothing less

This place is dark and dirty. The music is too loud and it's almost always empty. This is probably the best bar ever.

Between pool table hogging and straight up saying we would not be given a turn even if we put quarters down, and a different regular walking up to us and telling us point blank that the owner/bartenders are racist and do not want us playing rnb or hiphop music on the touch tunes - this place was extremely uncomfortable and had bad vibes. The bartender was seemingly drunk by the end of the night and severely over worked, completely ignoring some of my friends who arrived later. Also she just let the extremely drunk regulars physically climb all over the bar, and kept giving them drinks. If you want creepy old drunk white men to comment on your overpriced darts game this is the place. The owner apparently hates POC so much they refuse to have any rnb or hiphop songs on the Touch Tunes - which I didn't know you could even do. We checked because we wanted to put on some usher but there was like no songs. No modern music either. Just some trash country songs, one in particular stood out to me as a man repeatedly sang how his girl rocks a beer gut. Yes that is a real song that played through without getting skipped. My girlfriend was told "I'm not saying you guys aren't welcome here but it's usually just us after midnight so..." referring to herself and other regulars. Again these people approached us every time. The drinks were cheap, thats all I can say good about this place. I don't drink and my friends each only had 1 drink considering you couldn't flag the bartender down, so we were definitely not drunk nor rowdy. We quite literally kept to ourselves, out of the way, and these people approached us. We were also told "people in Gahanna are just not very welcoming of others...". Excuse me? We are very familiar with the Gahanna area, some of us work/live here. Gahanna is very diverse and has some really cool and NOT racist spots. They were very clearly trying to get us to leave. We came to watch the nuggets v wolves game, and play some darts and pool, but definitely wont be back. And will warn any POC to steer clear of this bar. May as well have a sign saying "Miserable Middle Aged White People Only" on the front if you hate young POC so much.

Last night we stopped by Gatsby's Bar to support one of our favorite local bands, Crooked Highway…read more We made sure to get there early enough to grab a table and eat before the music started, and I'm glad we did. After checking out the menu, I had a serious decision to make. If you follow my reviews, you know I love a great burger, and their burger section had some tempting choices. I was also really debating the Waldo Fried Bologna sandwich because that's another one of my food weaknesses. But in the end, I went with my first food love -- a burger. I ordered the All American Burger with the classic toppings: lettuce, tomato, onion, and a kosher dill pickle on the side. I got it cooked medium rare (the only way to eat a great burger), and added a fried egg on top because that takes a good burger and makes it even better. The burger hit the spot. The fresh-cut fries that came with it were also really good -- hot, fresh, slightly crispy on the outside and soft and tender on the inside. Service was a little bit of a mixed bag. Things moved on the slower side, but our server was very friendly and super nice, which definitely helped. The weather also turned out perfect, and sitting outside on the patio enjoying good food and live music made for a memorable night. My only real complaint, and it's a small one, was the drink prices. One small can of seltzer was $7, and a Bullet on the rocks with a shot of Buffalo Trace came out to $17.50, which felt a little steep. Overall, if you're looking for good food and a place to catch live music on the patio, Gatsby's might end up being that hidden choice you didn't even realize you were looking for.

Wrong again, not only were they full an hour ahead of time (all tables reserved), we were met at the door by a staff member telling us we had to leave as they were at capacity. No option to grab a drink and wait to see if things opened up, no apologies, no advice on how to participate next time, just a get on out of here attitude. It caters to a clientele that's mostly Gen X's with a few Boomers and Gen Y's mixed in. It's definitely an alternative to the typical sports bar scene that attracts the meat market, d-bag, bro and hipster crowd. I've got to tell you that this is a great place to relax after a rough day. If you feel like putting your feet up and talking with a few friends or maybe even if you want to bring in a book and sit and read for a while, there's an uber comfortable love seat and some chairs that are very butt friendly. You can grab a cocktail at the bar or have a seat at one of the tables and order some dinner to be brought over from the attached China Bell Restaurant. The Spicy Crab Rangoon are wonderful by the way... This is a legit cocktail lounge. They have a full bar and Carla the bartender pours a good drink. Their beer selection covers all the basics and they've got a few crafts for variety. This place only has two Yelp reviews even though they've been here for about 2 years now, so I'm going to call this place a true hidden gem. It's one of my favorite places to go for cocktails.
