Another plumber had been here twice; resolved a drainage problem in the shower on visit one. However, then there was a worse glugging between the kitchen and tub! We asked for him to return and address the new issue. He returned but was done did not work and things kept getting worse. He told us to use Draino and if that didn't work to call Lady Rooter! In the alternative, he offered the option of cutting out our pipes to seek the block and then replace them. After much thought we decided to call Robert Bradway. Bradway was so accommodating and as I said above, fixed our issues in one visit and even provided eco friendly recommendations to assist in keeping our pipes clear. Hopefully, we will not need them anytime soon but it nice to know they are there.

This morning I called requesting help with our aging mini-split a/c system and was told they would no longer provide service to us as a result of an incident that occurred last Fall when driving past the owner's house. The workers they hired were installing electrical conduit and a box truck in front of us stopped before starting again. My wife and I, with our two dogs in the car, began to proceed. I assumed it was safe to proceed. The truck suddenly stopped and the reverse lights came on, so I blew my horn, knowing they could not see us behind them. Suddenly, the two workers startied screaming at me, cursing and calling me names and verbally abusing me for proceeding. My wife and I were very shaken up by this and called the local police to report this violent behavior. I am extremely upset as well as disappointed that this company would turn their back on me as a customer. The only reason I am giving them two stars is that we have always been satisfied with their work. Knowing that this is how they operate, I would never even want to use them again. They actually should get 0 stars for treating a customer in such a way. EDIT: to be clear, I never said the workers who verbally abused us were employees of Bradway Plumbing. But it is Bradway Plumbing who we just discovered will no longer do work for us. There is no misplaced blame, other than Robert now trying to blame me. I guess he thinks we should just accept being verbally assaulted and cursed at by the people he hired to work on his house? Maybe he should have spoken to the people he hired about the incident. Anyway, I am now fully aware of the type of business owner Robert Bradway is and will happily move on.

Jamie was efficient and responsive with the initial estimate and follow-up questions we had and promptly provided us with both samples and addresses of customers where we could check out their work. Within a half-hour of starting work on "day 1," the workers realized our roof was one of a rare 2% of roofs built in a particularly solid way "back when," but one that would make the roof replacement work more challenging. The project director, Tony, consulted with Phelps Brothers' owner, and within minutes they agreed to proceed as originally planned. This initial roadblock was handled in a transparent manner and quickly resolved. The work was done quickly and efficiently over two days, with a special focus on not damaging flower beds all around the house (the job was done in mid-April, so a lot of new growth, none of which was damaged!). On the back of our furnace chimney, Phelps built a cricket, or diverter, to lessen the impact of rain on the actual brick. This was done because it was needed, not because we had requested it, and it wasn't included in the original, approved estimate. Just an example of Phelps Brothers going above and beyond to provide high-quality work. Tony was a real pleasure to work with - pleasant to deal with, super patient and direct with answering our questions. He even came back weeks later to patch/glue a bluestone chip that had been slightly damaged. Now that's service! His team of roofers were super hard-working and friendly. All in all, every person we dealt with at Phelps Brothers was friendly and professional. Our roof looks great; a real upgrade to our home.
