We called Dr. Rooter to unclog our kitchen drain. It has been a persistant problem for a long time. Jerry gave us a good price over the phone and a plumber was here within 3 hours. He was able to clean the clog at the sink but determined that there was stoppage further down the line. They ran the camera through our entire waste system and found the blockage at a piping itersection before the sewer clean out. We hydro jetted the entire waste system. In the mean time, their plumber found a leak in our hot water line. They repaired the leak. Of course, the work performed exceeded the price for the kitchen clog. Like many folks, we only seem to experience plumbing emergencies on the weekends (go figure), when most plumbing companies are closed. Long story short, we had a horrible sewage backup due to a forest of tree roots in our outgoing sewage pipe that forced the plumbing to backup (not pleasant at all).
