Reliable Plumbing is a complete scam. They charged us twice in one week for the exact same problem…read morebecause their plumbers failed to fix it the first time. Instead of taking responsibility, they rebilled us and gave absolutely terrible customer service. Carlos is rude, dismissive, and extremely unprofessional. The plumbers they sent were incompetent and clearly didn't know how to do the job properly. Zero accountability, zero integrity. Save yourself the money and stress--do not use this company.

We found CR Plumbing & Drains on Yelp after looking for a second opinion on a kitchen plumbing…read moreproblem we've been dealing with for years. I'm so glad we called Carlos. What stood out immediately was that Carlos actually listened. We spoke with another plumber who seemed determined to tell us what the problem was before even looking at it and dismissed what we were trying to explain. Carlos was completely different. He came out that evening, looked at everything at no charge, listened to the history of the problem, and gave us his initial thoughts. Instead of rushing to give us an estimate, he recommended doing a camera inspection so he could see how the downstairs plumbing was laid out and determine the best way to permanently fix the issue. After the inspection, he provided us with the video and put together a detailed proposal. He even called the sump pump manufacturer to make sure he was recommending the right pump for our particular situation. We had another quote for the same basic solution, but Carlos's proposal was more detailed, more affordable, and required less invasive work. That was extremely important to us. We specifically told him we didn't want our walls and cabinets torn apart if it could be avoided, and we also wanted the finished work to look clean and professional. Carlos and his helper worked through a very hot Friday installing the system outside our kitchen. They carefully pulled back our artificial turf, excavated the area, installed the pump and piping, and then Carlos returned Saturday to finish everything and put the area back together. He took the extra time to make the finished installation look good instead of treating appearance as an afterthought. We did have a small leak when we ran the dishwasher afterward. This is actually one of the reasons I'm giving Carlos five stars. Even though it was Saturday and he had other jobs, he came back as soon as he could, figured out what had happened, fixed it, and stayed while we tested the dishwasher again. He took responsibility for it and did not charge us for coming back. That says a lot about someone's character and how they run their business. I don't expect every job to go perfectly--I expect someone to stand behind their work when something does go wrong. Carlos did exactly that. He was knowledgeable, responsive, reasonably priced, respectful of our home, and genuinely seemed to care about finding the right solution instead of just selling us something. After years of dealing with this problem, it's a relief to finally have it addressed. We would absolutely call CR Plumbing & Drains again and highly recommend Carlos.

CR Plumbing & Drains did an excellent job helping us with a drainage issue over a holiday weekend…read more Our main bathroom tub was clogged and backing up, and we also suspected water from the sink was backing up into the dishwasher, leaving stagnant water and a foul odor in the kitchen. They responded quickly, arrived when promised, and took the time to properly diagnose the problem instead of rushing through it. The technician was professional, knowledgeable, and explained everything clearly. They resolved the issue efficiently and left everything clean when the work was completed. It's hard to find a plumbing company that is responsive, honest, and reliable, especially during a holiday weekend. I highly recommend CR Plumbing & Drains and will definitely use them again for any future plumbing needs. Thank you for the great service!

Plumbing 101 came to the rescue! After our third pinhole leak in our copper pipes in about two…read moreyears, I discussed with Nathan the prospect of replacing all our piping. He didn't pressure me at all but recommended that I do it now because if I didn't, they would likely be back again soon to repair another leak. He gave me a good price and didn't charge extra for the original reason they came to my house, a leak in the shower pipe. His team showed up at 7 am and completed the entire house by about 6 pm. They replaced all the copper pipes with PEX piping, replaced all the shower/bathtub valves with new posi-temp valves, new handles and escutcheons, new pressure and shut off valves, new angle stops, and they replaced the washer/dryer and refrigerator cut out boxes. Instead of installing the pipes the easier way, through the attic, they routed them in a more efficient way which made them less obtrusive in the garage and supplied hot water much quicker to the faucets. They wrapped all the exposed pipes in the garage with insulation. They worked with me to minimize necessary cuts in the dry wall and stucco. His team repaired and retextured all their cuts, but paint matching and touchup was left to me. They even retextured my whole 1/2 bath that was terribly textured by me several years ago. Nathan's team was very professional and respectful of any of our concerns; they asked me to do two walk-throughs when they were done. First, to check the plumbing, and then to check the drywall repairs. It's a good thing they came because Nathan found a fourth leak in the ceiling while doing demo. Who knows how long it might have leaked before we became aware of it. I highly recommend Plumbing 101.

"Buy a home" they said. "It's better than paying rent" they said. While there are joys in…read morehomeownership, there are also nights where everything seems to go to poo. Like in our case where it was backing up in our showers, tubs and toilets. Well nothing says "Sleep well" like a plumbing emergency at 10pm on a Sunday. We did our "We can fix it with a little YouTube" try only to realize we couldn't find our clean out that didn't exist. In a "what about our morning poo?!" frenzy, we called one of those well-known corporate places and they had someone out at 9am the next day. Now we got great customer service, but we also got a ridiculous price tag for what turned out to be a need for a complete new pipe system (thank you 1950s cast iron). The other place was outrageous enough in pricing that we were willing to swallow a few Imodium or just get out the kitty litter to get some other quotes. Enter our longtime landscaper to the rescue! He told us about these guys and they were on it for almost 1/2 the price, fantastic customer service, knowledgeable and friendly employees and hardworking! We couldn't be happier with everything they've done and the way they treated us (two women where one used to be a building inspector ) with respect. They truly went above and beyond and we already recommend them to a neighbor with the job literally just finishing today. Nathan, Tito and Brian, may the rest of the year show you as much respect as you showed us.
