What a fun place! I came out to the Star Center to watch some friends play ice hockey on a men's adult league. Easy access to the center and lots of parking. Do not bring food or drinks - there is a concession stand inside. They have two full rinks inside. I'm sure there was a lot more to see, but I was busy cheering for The Fury! Friendly staff on-site. Might be a nice place but we walked in just before we planned to head to the ball field adjacent to it. We used the restroom and walked out a door near the snack bar. We then saw that a locked fence prevented us from going to the ball park. We tried to walk here other way, to get back in front of the center but no walkway there. Then we tried to re-enter the Star Center but the door was locked. So we walked around the entire ball field we were trying to get into, only to find the gate locked there. We were beginning to think we were completely locked in to the area with no way to get to the ball field or to the front of the Star Center but a Star Center patron let us in when my husband tapped on the door. Had all this not happened we probably would have used the snack bar on a future trip to the ball field. But, lesson learned. Avoid this place! read more

Fabulous experience for hockey lessons. My son wanted to try ice hockey. From taking to the manager to checking in to the lessons, this has been a positive experience. It is built for the kids to feel success and then build on that success. The building is nice. The staff was polite, helpful, and kind. There are two rinks. The rink is well kept and the ice is smooth. There are bleachers to watch the kids learn. It was a great experience. read more

Just paid $33 for an adult and two children skate and skate rental (son has his own skates). Took 20 minutes to check in, with one register and two other employees standing there looking at their phones, and the clock is ticking on "open skate" (only two hours). The rink is packed and in really poor condition, melting on the sides and not properly resurfaced so lots of deep grooves and bumps. Rental skates are awful, full size only and heavy, poorly fitting, and dull. No lockers for your stuff so have to carry with or hope doesn't get taken. The center is clearly focused on hockey so only has "public skate" at very limited times = poor facilities for the public. That's OK but don't charge us an exorbitant amount for a mediocre experience. I wonder if they get any tax breaks as they're park of a public park - that would just be wrong. read more

Impressive place. A bit out there, but not too many rinks are front and center for some reason. Eyesores I guess. Pretty on par pricing for ice time. Friendly staff and a fun bunch of guys to skate with. Two rinks so pick up hockey and figure skating can go on simultaneously. read more

I don't understand why people are giving this place anything besides 5 star reviews. I've been to other ice skating rinks and this is by far the best one. -There are less people there so more freedom to skate around without getting run over or running people over. -The ice also lasts longer with less skates carving it up. This isn't even an issue because they run the zamboni before open skate starts so the ice is perfect. -Their skates are even in better shape and have sharper blades. Be sure to bundle up though they keep it cold in there (it is a nice rink). Will be going back again soon! read more

Best Ice Rink I've seen! There is public skating! They also do hockey games! Go Ice Holes!! Gold Rink is colder than Green rink. Also the Green Rink has WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY more seating area!!! BEWARE ( Better than Polar Ice at Grapevine Mills Mall ) Although, I do LOVE Great American Cookies!! We have been living in HEB for over 15 years . We visited Star Center in Euless with our toddler for the very first time yesterday. Her first class was so much fun. The staffs & instructors are very nice , friendly and professional. Mr. Dillion is super nice & helpful . Highly recommend!!! The place is clean with plenty of parking area. read more

What can I say they have ice hockey, public skating that's all I need. makes me happy I just wish my daughter would join a hockey league so I can come out and cheer her on. she cheers me on when I'm playing when it's my game night I'd like to do the same for her. The employees here are always very helpful I just wish they had their pro shop still I can get my skates sharpened but I can't go buy a new cup if I needed one that's kind of scary to me! I give them five stars if they would open that damn pro shop. read more

Unbelievable how unprofessional this facility is. They have children working the front counter and inept referees, specifically Santiago. Apparently they've had multiple complaints against him but still refuse to fire him even though other refs don't even respect or like this guy. Pretty sad when you pay a lot of money to play hockey at a place that is supposed to be one of "the best" and support hockey in the community but don't respect their players or refs experiences. Very disappointed with this facility and the Stars center. They miscalled three goals because Santiago was "too tired" to pay attention... His words exactly. Very sad. read more

Nice rink, staff was pretty helpful. This was only the second time my kids have been skating but we all had a pretty good time. The snack bar was decent and the prices are reasonable. We rented skates which were all hockey style except for my daughters which were the traditional type of skate. I'm not a big fan of the hockey style skates but that's my personal preference. Overall we had a good time. My issue was with the regulars that I'm guessing are on some sort of hockey team or such by the way they're dressed. We all get you're there a lot and know how to skate. However, there were quite a few kids and adults, who one could tell were newer to skating, so your speeding through everyone and throwing gloves and shooting hockey pucks across the ice that could easily hit someone and trip them up is just inappropriate. There is a middle area in the rink for those who want to mess around and show off. And the fact that the staff just sit there and allow it is even better. What are you getting paid for? To tell everyone to switch direction every hour or so? read more
