Main Rink -- vibes were immaculate
Dominick R.

Very easy place to have a great time Coming in, we were a little caught off guard the price -- $15.16 -- was the same for everybody, regardless of whether or not you were renting skates or not. But, knowing the state of the economy, I was not one to judge. Very friendly skate rental staff who made it easy for me to figure out my size; I had never been to a roller rink prior. I wanted to rent a locker but I wasn't quite sure who to ask or where to go, so we just held onto our valuables. I felt bad for the girl working the food counter because it seemed like she was just having a rough day. We ordered pizza and despite the lengthy wait it was worth it. Skating came with a little bit of pain but still had fun. The padding of the tongue in my skate's got a little off from the harder exterior material and was kind of stabbing my foot. I had to precariously pull the cloth lining and strap it down just right so it wouldn't. This might have been a me-problem since I wasn't sure if my size, or it was just be a rookie skating technique, but specifically in my right heel bone did I notice a lot of chafing with the skate. Regardless, I still had fun. Most of all, I loved the music that the DJ played. I suggested a few songs and a couple got crossed out which is fair, but I also never heard the one that got a check next to it. Overall, good place with good energy. Would highly recommend and will be coming back soon.

Wonderful atmosphere and smooth floor. Had a great time with my family. My kids loved the rink and we spent the whole day here.

$14 for skating and skates. Great deal. Pervasive smell of marajuana, and crowded. But the girls had a great time and spent 4 hours.

The toddlers were able to ride any wheeled vehicle during our party and, on the opposite side of the private rink, a bounce house!!

We booked again this year and what I was not expecting is for the owners to be completely awful hosts from the minute we walked in until the minute we left. I booked this party at least two months ago, and didn't receive any kind of follow up call to confirm details or anything. We rented out the rink for this party, and I thought I remembered that we had 30 minutes to set up for the party, so we arrived 30 minutes early. The male owner immediately wanted to know what we were doing there. I told him and he got very upset that we had come early. I tried to explain that I was sorry for the mistake. He told me we could sit at the tables for 15 minutes until it was time to set up. It was my mistake that we arrived early, so we did as he said; however, it was an honest mistake and he treated us like we were trying to scam him out of 15 minutes, which was not the case. He was extremely rude throughout the party. At one point he interrupted a conversation I was having with a guest and shoved a wrapped stick of gum in my face. He said, "gum and skates don't mix." I replied that no they don't. He said, "well I just found this on the floor." It was not my gum and I wasn't sure what he needed me to do about it. He threw it away and walked off. The owners had a dog there who kept barking during our party which was distracting. The bathrooms had also not been cleaned. The female owner stopped our music 30 minutes early and hijacked the rest of our party. Our party was supposed to be over at 3:00 and she played, "So Long, Farewell," at 2:45 and told our party that was the last song. It was a very depressing way to end the skate and my daughter was confused why we didn't get to use her playlist they told us we could use the whole time. At 2:50 they stopped all the music and told kids to get off the floor, 10 minutes before our party was supposed to be over. We were supposed to have 15 minutes after the party to clean up, but based on the demeanor of the owners making us feel unwelcome at our own party, we had started cleaning up at 2:30. We let my son continue to skate while we cleaned up, knowing that we had paid to have the rink until 3:00. At 2:58, the male owner threatened to charge us more if our son didn't get off the rink. We were flustered and felt so rushed even though we had paid for the time. At 3:10 we had just about everyone from the party out except for a few people who were chatting. I was waiting by the door trying to get all of our guests to leave quickly, and the male owner opened up the door and told us we had to go. I said I know I'm trying to get everyone out. He said they had another event to get ready for. I didn't want to exit before my guests, so I finally got everyone out of the building at 3:11. It was so stressful, and whether they had another event or not, I was also a paying customer and did not deserve to be treated so poorly. My daughter only gets one 10th birthday, and I worked very hard to be able to pay for her to have a nice party. I left trying to hide tears from my daughter and shield her from all the unnecessary behind the scenes stress. I have seen other reviews from paying customers who also had trouble with the male owner in particular and his lack of customer service, or even basic human kindness. I've also read how defensive the owners get in response to negative reviews. I rarely leave negative reviews, and in fact prefer to leave positive reviews for small businesses especially. But this party was absolutely miserable. They likely won't care, but RollerWorld lost some loyal customers yesterday.

Pretty much NO options for anyone who fits the above description and is also stuck at work during regular business hours. They don't have public sessions in the evenings, so sucks to be you if you have to work on weekdays during the day. Rink is infested with kids on the weekends. The rest of the time, it's closed for competitions and hockey crap. Even on days when they're open, they close sporadically during the day because...reasons. And to be clear, there are zero public skating sessions on ANY evenings, so anyone who has a day job is SOL. If you have a weekday day job = your choices are child-infested weekend days or nothing. If you have a job or other obligations every day during the day but evenings free = HAHAHA WE HAVE NOTHING FOR YOU, GO AWAY. There are some late afternoon freestyle sessions, but they're a huge ripoff, you only get an hour on the ice, and I've gotten three different answers about what the qualifications are to even earn the honor of buying a session. (One person said I had to take a damn test, one person said I had to be currently taking lessons, and another said as long as I know the basic mechanics of the jumps, it's fine). I definitely am NOT about to risk wasting money by coming all the way out here with my skates just to get turned away if I'm not up to their magical standards, I'm not about to risk practicing rusty jumps and spins with swarms of feral children crashing into me during a public session, and I SURE AS HELL am not going to pay to take a test to see if I'm Worthy of paying them even more money for one lousy hour on the ice. This place is a pathetic, cruel joke. It should be ashamed of itself for existing in public and getting people's hopes up for a viable public rink. As if I needed one more piece of proof this mall jumped the shark years ago and this entire city is a barren wasteland with nothing to do. TL;DR - If you have to work weekdays during the day and/or you're not a hockey player, this "rink" has nothing to offer but disappointment. BONUS WTF: Definitely call before you come! Their public skating hours listed on Yelp, Google, the rink's website, and the physical sign outside the rink itself ALL HAVE DIFFERENT HOURS. And they appear to be variable on weekends, so you can't even reasonably plan.

We have been here multiple times to let the kids get loose and enjoy roller skating. There is a parking lot provided, but it can and will fill up fast depending on the time and day you go on. The tickets to enter are fair and reasonably priced and can be purchased at the front door. The skate rental is an additional charge if you do not have any skates. They have discounts on certain days of the week, and I would highly suggest checking on the website for the most up to date information. They have tables and chairs for kids' birthday parties that are very common on the weekdays during the daytime. There is also a snack bar where you can purchase food and drinks. They have typical snacks such as pizza, nachos, and pickles. There are also a couple of vending machines inside that have cold drinks and snacks as well. The rink is large and is perfect for large groups to attend and have fun. They have age group races to participate in and also play appropriate music for all ages. They even offer skating lessons for a fair price as well as figure skating classes if you're a bit more serious in skating. Overall, Forum Roller World is a great place to go to and have an awesome time. The kids' birthday parties always turn out well and are reasonably priced and won't break the bank.

The customer service at the front was good, and the food service was good. But being that I was celebrating my birthday and paid almost $200.00. I asked for a few songs (Montell Jordan, come on ride that train, and roll bounce) and was turned down more than once and had a few of my guests request songs and both the dudes/dj's refused to play and asked me if Young Buck was okay to play. (all were kid friendly songs) My party was 7:30pm to 9:30pm. I guess because I was an adult, I got a shout out at 9:15 then finally got one of my requested songs. I didn't feel the need to rent out the whole skating rink for 7 to 10 guests. From my understanding, when you skate slower you on the inside and fast on the outside. The dj and his friends was flying in and out everybody like they owned the skating rink for the night. Upon booking I was someone would have told me that this wasn't a good night to book instead of just collecting. I have a free pass but I'm good I don't want to go back. I could have said something while I was there but I didnt want to get upset in front of my child. My party was a kid friendly event, so I wanted to accommodate the kids that were coming as well. Never again.
