    Amazing staff and inventory. I make a yearly pilgrimage to the Georgetown store to pick up a pair of limited edition CNY 1460s, Given the distance, I called ahead. Kelly took my call and helped confirmed available sizes. When I arrived, they gave me warm greeting and quickly brought out the pair I was looking for. They were friendly and very helpful with showing me ways to adjust the jungle zipper design of the boots. They made sure I was happy with with fit and selection. Overall, Kelly is an exemplar of how to creative a positive, personable shopping experience.

    Great location in the heart of Georgetown, I discovered it on the way to grab a bite to eat. I have seen plenty of people wearing them but had no desire to own a pair until I went in. The sales clerk was so friendly and explained everything about how the boot came to be made, from the injury of one we now have a shoe work across the world. One thing that I will never forget is the sole. He explained how they bounce and take the feeling of a heavy boot away. I can't wait to pick up my new pair this week!

    I usually don't leave many reviews but the experience that I had at this store with the lovely sales associate needs to be recognized. I live in southern Virginia and have been having really bad ankle pain (I rolled my ankle and I also overpronate) and I've tried so many different shoes to try to help with the pain and none had worked until I tried a pair of doc boots (1460 alt) two weeks ago. I knew that I needed to invest in some more so I can rotate which ones I wear so they don't wear out at quickly, but I have a very finicky and hard to fit foot with all of its problems as well as it being wide. The sales associate that helped me (Rachel Martini, she gave me her card for any other questions since I live a ways away that I can call her!) was so patient, informative, understanding, and extremely nice. I tried on probably 8 different styles to find which fit the best on me, and she even suggested going up in size for the width and adding one of their inserts and it fit PERFECTLY. I was in there for probably an hour and a half because I drove 2 1/2 hours there and wanted to make sure I was getting the right shoes for my ankle support and Rachel was there offering assistance the entire time! I ended up getting two pairs of Jadon max boots (one with spikes that had just come in that were STUNNING, and a pair of just normal black for work) a keychain, 2 inserts, and a set of yellow laces! Rachel was the most helpful sales associate I've had anywhere since I've been dealing with these foot issues, and this is coming from someone who is also in shoe sales so I know that it can be grueling sometimes when someone can't seem to make up their mind after hours of help but again she was so understanding and so helpful and even offered other options for when I come back later in the year for the newer collections! I will most definitely be bringing all of my business when buying docs to this particular location as long as Rachel is there! I will be back in a couple of months!

    It was a grey and rainy day, and like a beacon of light from the heavens, there stood Dr. Martens with their doors open. I was treated like royalty as soon as I entered. The employees were more helpful and attentive than the Downton Abbey staff. I tried on several pairs of boots before deciding on two pairs to buy. The person helping me did it all with grace and a smile. The atmosphere in this place was all I could hope for in a store: Bauhaus on the stereo, boots arranged and cleverly organized, and comfy chairs to sit on while lacing up my boots. I don't know if you've ever owned Dr. Martens boots before, but I'm not exaggerating when I say they last a very long time. I have pairs from more than a decade ago that still have a lot of life left in them. Very happy they opened this store in Georgetown. I'll be back, I'm sure.

    Whew weeee!! This…read morelocation was something to talk about. I have been dying to get in this place for years but always on a tight schedule to get elsewhere. This was a Lion and Tigers and Bears OH MY situation! It's quite crowded in here. Not cluttered but crowded. They have soooo much stuff and it's all in order. This place could be 2-3 floors easy!! I saw all of my fav brands at great prices. They have a huge selection of high-end wear for a great price. They have a huge selection of summer, spring and winter wear. The cosmetics and body care... chef's kiss!! They have everything in every color/ scent/ size!! Cool accessories, luggage galore, etc. I did not take a gander at the shoes as I had a show nearby to attend. I bought 2 gorge blouses and a short sleeve loose fitting denim blue top. I will revisit very soon for some more shopping greatness.

    I need to report an extremely disturbing experience at a Nordstrom Rack store during a recent visit…read morewith my husband. We were shopping for outfits for our son's graduation, which should have been a positive and memorable occasion. Instead, I was subjected to unprofessional, confrontational, and ultimately abusive behavior by a fitting room associate. Upon approaching the fitting room, I followed the associate's directions regarding where to place my cart, although her instructions were inconsistent and unclear. Inside the dressing room, I found a shirt that had been left behind by a previous customer. After trying on approximately seven items, I returned them to hangers and exited the fitting room. At that point, the associate demanded that I remove and hang the shirt that I had not brought into the dressing room. I explained that it was not mine. She became visibly frustrated, entered the room herself, and then shifted her focus to insisting that I return all of my items to the exact locations on the sales floor where I had found them. I placed the clothing neatly on the rack provided near the fitting room, which is standard practice in most retail stores. I declined to return the items to the sales floor, as that is typically handled by store staff to ensure proper organization. The situation escalated significantly when the associate followed me out of the fitting area and toward the front of the store, continuing to confront me. She then called me a "horrible human being" and used an additional demeaning term toward me. Racially motivated ! Being followed and verbally insulted while exiting the store was both shocking and unacceptable. I think she forgot what her job actually was and that was too curate the clothing, and to rehang them up she had the nerve to continue following me and would have exited the store to follow me. Had someone else stopped her I am a 50-year-old customer who has shopped in retail stores my entire life, and I have never experienced anything remotely like this. This interaction was not only unprofessional but crossed the line into harassment. this incident be investigated thoroughly. No customer should be treated in this manner under any circumstances. I would also appreciate a response outlining what steps will be taken to address this situation and ensure it does not happen to others. Huge thumbs down to this store and this horrible little twit
