This was a Lion and Tigers and Bears OH MY situation! It's quite crowded in here. Not cluttered but crowded. They have soooo much stuff and it's all in order. This place could be 2-3 floors easy!! I saw all of my fav brands at great prices. They have a huge selection of high-end wear for a great price. They have a huge selection of summer, spring and winter wear. The cosmetics and body care... chef's kiss!! They have everything in every color/ scent/ size!! Cool accessories, luggage galore, etc. I did not take a gander at the shoes as I had a show nearby to attend. I bought 2 gorge blouses and a short sleeve loose fitting denim blue top. I will revisit very soon for some more shopping greatness.

Lots of great "stuff" and finds....if you have the patience to look around and dig for it…read more This Nordstrom Rack is loaded with brand name products, designer clothing, jewelry, household goods and all at decent prices. The only gripe I have specifically with this location.....is that it is waaayyy too cluttered-- overstocked with just stuff everywhere! And, let's talk about organization to make things easy to find....forget it. It sort of reminds me of Filene's Basement (on Connecticut Ave) from back in the day or a " sub high-end" Thrift store. If you park on the street nearby this store, you better load up your parking meter to the max.... Because you're going to need the time to roam around this place. Note: There is no parking lot or garage..... so you don't want your parking meter to expire because we all know parking tickets in DC is like paying rent or the amount of a one night hotel stay. lol Other than this, not a bad shopping experience here. There's something for everyone when it comes to looking for bargain clothing that's from designer labels and semi on trend. One plus I will say about this Nordstrom Rack location, is that they carry a large selection of men's business and casual clothing. This location carries tons of business suits, dress shirts, ties and business casual slacks-pants. I think the reason for this is because this location is centrally located in the downtown DC area and business district that is primarily surrounded by law offices, lobby firms, consulting firms and federal government agencies. You often don't find this at a lot of Nordstrom Rack and bargain clothing, places like Marshall's/TJMaxx around the DMV. There are also tons of men's athletic shoes, casual sneakers, great running shoes and dress shoes. In all, you can't go wrong shopping here. Although, the Pentagon City location is more my speed. This location is not all bad. Lots of good finds and decent customer service. Just have a little patience and time to roam around this treasure trove!

Between some vintage styles and a bit of an earthy-crunchy flair, I began to think that Willow wouldn't have anything for me. However, that thinking was quickly reversed when I re-visited two racks in the back that offer modern, trendy items that perfectly match my style. We chatted with the owner, Julie, who was friendly. We learned that Willow has been open for about a year. The store is bright and well-merchandised, and offers accessories, home items, and baby items in addition to apparel. Plus, all items are extremely reasonably priced, so you receive the luxury of boutique service and style without the cost. With new arrivals weekly, I'll be a regular at Willow.

This store has been open for more than a year and I can't believe me and my credit card haven't found this place earlier. This store is the cutest boutique I have been to in DC! Whether you're looking for a gift for a young women in your life, or looking to expand your wardrobe, a trip to Petworth will definitely pay off!! If you like brands like YA and Tulle, this is the place to go. There are no shortages of cute dresses and tops, with affordable prices (it's also the least expensive boutique I have been to). They also have one rack of vintage clothing, that's all in good shape and look repurposed. I tend to not wear vintage clothes, not cause I am a snob, only because people from the past were really really thin and my modern day thighs won't fit a thing here, but if you're lucky and thin, don't pass this rack by. I nearly dragged in half a rack of clothing into the dressing room with me, and thanks to Lia who reminded me of exactly how many striped dresses I own I walked away with only a cute peplum top for $26( https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=529507513830592&set=a.150739758374038.31207.127311010716913&type=1&theater) which looks like nothing I own and perfect for going out. Lia however did not remind me of my polka dot addiction, and I also walked away with a set of four tiny vintage cute ceramic bowls in red and white polka dot pattern. I know this is a clothing boutique mainly, but definitely if you find yourself in here do not overlook the vintage homewares. Cute plate sets (4 for $19), ring holders and ceramic casserole dishes are everywhere. It's like cute Anthropologie stuff without the inflated nonsense prices. They occasionally have some great unique pieces, but that is becoming increasingly rare. It seems to have morphed more into a confusing assortment of newer Ikea-level furniture presented as vintage, gift soaps & candles and random clothing. But what really makes this place special are the people - the staff / owners here seem to actively dislike their customers lol! I lived around the corner for 6 years and used to drop in regularly. They revolve between completely ignoring you while laughing to each other, outright hostility, and aggressive indifference (ask a question - they shrug while walking away lol). To make it all just a little more uncomfortable, it seems like half of what they have on the floor is "unavailable". No signs, no explanation, just when you say you would like to buy it they say it's "unavailable" and walk away lol. I don't know who this place is supposed to appeal to, it seems like they are going for tourists, and maybe young people who just moved here and don't know any better. I lucked out and found a pair of Prada Monolith loafers that are still available in-store at full price -- except mine were half the cost and looked like they'd maybe been worn once. Maybe. Such a good score, plus I got to support a small business, which always feels better than buying direct from some corporate mega-retailer. And shout out to Julia, who works there -- she was fantastic. Super helpful, super knowledgeable, and when the right shoe went missing (yes, really), she helped me tear the place apart to find it. I had almost given up, but then I spotted a Prada box... and there it was. Victory. The owner listed it at $2,300 with a 55% payout and claimed it would sell within weeks. Instead, I spent six months chasing updates through texts, calls, emails, and website tickets. By summer, they stopped responding entirely. When I visited on September 2, they refused to answer a basic question without an appointment and made me wait until September 11. At that appointment, the owner repeatedly disparaged my bag as outdated, then told me it had sold for $1,875. She initially tried to pay me only 50%. Only after I produced the contract did she apologize and acknowledge the agreed 55%. Even then, my final payment was less than 55% because they deducted an undisclosed "processing fee" of several dozen dollars--something never mentioned throughout the entire process. Six months of silence, condescension, attempted underpayment, and a surprise fee. I'll take my other luxury bags to New York. Avoid this store.
