I have avoided dentists for a long time, going once every two years for a cleaning. I went nearly 4 years before going to see the Dr's as Zorillas office. They did not shame me, they reassured me this was a wonderful step to taking care of myself. That I deserved to take care of myself. For the office being labeled as cosmetic, they do not push at all for whitening or straightening, or anything you didn't book for. They did my cleaning and asked if I had questions about additional services, gave me a goodie bag and booked me for a cavity fill that I paid my copay for, and after that appt they booked me 6 months out. Truly wonderful, kind, compassionate, understanding and reassuring people work here and I am actually excited for my upcoming appointments

Dr. Jess is extremely friendly and helpful, and keeps you informed of everything she is doing/thinking of doing throughout the appointment. Her assistant was also very friendly and did the impressions very professionally. The only drawbacks were the lack of a bib to catch the bits from the impressions, the lack of a water gun and bowl to rinse after the impressions right from the chair and the lack of choices to get a CT scan for the jaw images needed for implants. With no bib I ended up with pieces of impression material all over my clothes from picking it out of my mouth. To rinse I had to get up and go to a sink in the aisle where anyone could be walking by. Didn't offer any privacy for something as private as rinsing and spitting. I'm not big on spitting in public. :-) To get the CT I have to go through the company they use, which would have been fine except they don't take insurance so I have to pay cash for it and submit it to my insurance on my own. That really didn't sit well with me. However, I can still say my overall impressions were very positive and I will definitely be going back. She has me excited about what she may be able to do to set me up with something so I can finally eat again! Besides, who can resist their service dog Cole? What a sweetheart!

EQUIPMENT Modern and supposedly equipped with cutting edge services... like 3D printers and a panoramic scan x-ray to detect fractures like an endontist... but didnt experience any of these firsthand. EXPERIENCE Hygienist seem good but the dentist seems very into upselling non-insurance services and it was an meh experience overall... I got referred out for perio services and then called back for a cleaning... then told about not being in network for insurance next year... not sure if thats accurate but there are plenty of dentists with great ratings that take Cigna so... my journey continues along with a digital copy of my files and xrays. The office is also Spanish speaking. My appointment was schedule for 11:00am and I arrived ten minutes early knowing I would have some new patient forms to fill out. It was around 11:15am that I was called back. They a LOT of patient "rooms", but had only a few people working on this particular Saturday morning perhaps because it seems there is only one doctor. I received a routine teeth cleaning, and was very pleased with the service provided. The hygienist, Denise, was very nice and gentle on my gums. She and Dr. Obaidi used an electro sonic method to clean my teeth, followed by polishing and flossing. I would recommend their dental services based on my experience. [They do have a promotional contest/reward running for leaving them a 5- star review on Google, which makes me question some of those reviews. Unfortunately most businesses do function that way now-a-days it seems, which is another reason I continue to prefer Yelp for reliable reviews.]

You can fill out all the forms online beforehand which was really convenient. The office is in a small strip mall with good parking. Dr. Obaidi has recently taken over a previous dental tenant so everything was nice and clean. Checking in was easy seeing that I did the forms online. First visit was scans, X-rays and overall dental health assessment. They have very nice modern and new equipment. Dr. Obaidi was extremely friendly and professional. He showed me my photos and X-rays and explained thoroughly what I needed. It's a small staff and they both made me feel at ease. We decided for a 2 week deep cleaning schedule. I wanted to make sure I knew what my insurance covered before proceeding. The staff called me later that week with insurance updates and we scheduled two visits over two weeks. Second visit went equally as well. The Dr. used a numbing gel as well as thorough shots of novocaine for the right half of my mouth. They have TVs and music playing to distract you through the process. The visit was quick, but efficient, about an hour. At the end he prescribed me some medicine for any lingering pain. 1 week later for the third visit, we finished up the left side with equal care. Dr. Obaidi throughout the entire process was kind, calm and professional. If you are looking for a new dentist or are going for a first time, I would highly recommend Dr. Obaidi!

Not the Same Practice Anymore…read more We used to love coming to this office when it was run by Dr. Turnwald and his team. My kids actually enjoyed going to the dentist, and the entire staff was fantastic. About a year ago, I was having tooth pain and called to set up an appointment, and I was pleasantly surprised to get in the same day. However, when I showed up, I found out the entire old staff and Dr. Turnwald had left, and the practice had been sold to a new doctor--without any notice. Even the text and email confirmations still had the old dentist's name, so it was pretty frustrating to show up and find an entirely new staff and doctor. While the new staff was nice and the doctor was okay, the whole experience felt off-putting since I booked the appointment thinking it was still my family's trusted dentist. I also really missed my old hygienist, who always made visits easy for my kids. Honestly, had they been more upfront about the change when I called, it might not have left such a sour taste in my mouth. But now, I drive 30 minutes out of my way to see Dr. Black, where she has her own practice, and it's worth it for the care we receive. Most of the positive Yelp reviews here are for the old practice under Dr. Turnwald, and it says a lot that the entire staff left when he did. We've since followed Dr. Black to new office, and our family is much happier for it.

Dr. Patel discourages talk while she works and in surgery you may sit for long periods without breaks. She clearly explained all the work that was done. Her friendly assistants include Rosie, Juanita, Venita and Naimee, who welcomed me. The clinic is spotless, though not a spa.
